The Good for Nothing Seventh Young Lady

Chapter 779 - The Truth of the Past (10)

Shen Yanxiao quietly listened. Although she had already guessed it in her heart, when she heard it all with her own two ears, she still thought it was unbelievable.

Her Older Brother Siyu was really the one who had sent her back to the Vermillion Bird Clan.

So did Shen Siyu know what had happened to her in the five months she was away?

Where did he come from and where did he bring her to? How did he know that she was a child from the Vermillion Bird Clan?

Shen Yanxiao’s mind was a bit chaotic. Shen Siyu had always been good to her, she was always very clear about that.

She also regarded him as her own brother. But why did he continue to stay by her side without any complaints for these past ten years? And why did he not even explain anything?

He turned a blind eye when the Vermillion Bird Clan was in crisis but treated her as a treasure.

Shen Yanxiao could not think clearly anymore. The more information she got, the more confused she became. The older brother that she had trusted a lot was actually her benefactor when she was young. And for these last ten years, he had been quietly guarding her without her knowledge.

“Young Master Siyu is a good person, he is someone that you should respect and admire. When you were young and weak, you often had a high fever and Shen Siyu would always stay by your side for days and nights just to guard you. He wouldn’t even drink or eat and would only leave once he saw that your condition was good.” Shen Qiu sighed. Although Shen Siyu was Shen Yanxiao’s benefactor, the way he treated her was more thoughtful than even her own relatives. Even Shen Feng could see how much he cared about Shen Yanxiao.

For Shen Qiu, no matter who Shen Siyu was, he would always be the young master of the Vermillion Bird Clan and the older brother of Shen Yanxiao.

”Older Brother Siyu, why are you so good to me?” Shen Yanxiao was very confused, yet her heart felt very warm. When she was still the good for nothing seventh young lady of the Vermillion Clan whom everyone looked down upon, Shen Siyu still took care of her, who had been proclaimed an idiot waste for ten years.

If she had not occupied the body of “Shen Yanxiao”, then she would have always been an idiot.

Did Shen Siyu really plan to take care of an idiot forever?

”I don’t know, but in this world, there aren’t a lot of people like him.” Shen Qiu said.

”Anyway, regardless of the true identity of Young Master Siyu, he is still your older brother at the end of the day, right?”

Shen Yanxiao was slightly surprised for a moment after hearing Shen Qiu’s words.

No matter what, Shen Siyu was someone important to her, the one who had meticulously took care of her foolish self for the past ten years. Whatever his identity might be, it would not change Shen Yanxiao’s trust in him even in the slightest bit.

”I understand.” Shen Yanxiao smiled a bit. Similar to Xiu: whoever they might be, their identities had no effect on her.

After Shen Yanxiao had figured it out, she embarrassingly smiled a little.

”I am not troubled by Older Brother Siyu’s identity anymore. I just want to know where he rescued me and what happened to me before returning to the Vermillion Bird Clan.”

Since Shen Siyu brought her back to the Vermillion Bird Clan, that meant that he had known her identity. Then, how did he know about it? Where did she come back from? These were the points Shen Yanxiao was most concerned about. Shen Duan had previously said that the mysterious person secretly took her away and left without leaving any clues.

Shen Yanxiao’s subconscious felt that Shen Siyu and that mysterious person were not the same, otherwise, he would not have to personally send her back to the Vermillion Bird Clan and carefully protect her safety.

To expose oneself to others was not the style of a mysterious person.
