The Good for Nothing Seventh Young Lady

“I will answer everything you ask!” Shen Yue looked at Shen Yanxiao in fear. He was still scared after what happened earlier in the backyard. He had never dreamed that the former disgrace of the Vermillion Bird Clan would change into the kind of person before him.

Shen Duan, who was an Advanced Swordsman, had been defeated by her without even striking more than once.

The combination of her great archery skills and curses was a nightmare for them.

“When did Shen Duan start scheming to take the Clan Head position?” Asked Shen Yanxiao.

“I... I don’t know. Shen Duan and I aren’t that close. When you won the School Tournament, Shen Duan and I were afraid of your new, profound strength. When Shen Duan approached me about this matter, it was only then that I became slightly aware of his scheme to take over the Vermillion Bird Clan. That’s it! T-There was also one time that I heard Shen Duan informing Ruan Yingzhe, that after you formed a contract with the Vermillion Bird, you left to go to Holy Roland School. That changed their whole plan.” Swallowing his saliva, he carefully watched Shen Yanxiao’s reaction.

”Keep talking.”

”At that time, he had already captured the Clan Head. He sent Shen Yifeng to Ruan Yingzhe, saying that it would increase his strength. Soon, half a month later, Ruan Yingzhe suddenly came back with Shen Yifeng, who was already an Advanced Swordsman. Even that Shen Duan: from a Senior Swordsman, he became an Advanced Swordsman.” Shen Yue honestly said.

“What do you know about the Broken Star Palace?” Shen Yanxiao slightly frowned. Shen Duan had actually planned everything since the beginning. No wonder Shen Yifeng did not study at Holy Roland School anymore.

“Shen Duan never liked to discuss the matters of the Broken Star Palace with me. Ruan Yinzhe also disdained talking about the matters of the Broken Star Palace. But… But…” Shen Yue said, his voice started to become fainter as he talked.

”But what?”

Shen Yue’s whole body shook before he hurriedly continued, ”But Shen Duan told me that he could improve Jiayi’s and Jiawei’s strength, like he did with Shen Yifeng. After hearing that, I instantly and sincerely agreed. Then, Shen Duan took them and brought them into the Broken Star Palace early this morning.”

”You sent Shen Jiayi and Shen Jiawei into the Broken Star Palace?” Shen Yanxiao was slightly surprised.

No wonder when she ordered to search the entire household of the Vermillion Bird Clan, she still did not see even the shadows of Shen Jiayi and Shen Jiawei. She also did not see them when she went to get Ye Qing and Yun Qi at the Holy Roland School. So it turned out that it was because they were sent to the Broken Star Palace this morning.

”Yes... Yes.” Shen Yue nodded before he quickly explained, ”I can assure you, as long as you do not kill me, I will tell my two children not to go against you in the future… They aren’t aware of the rebellion. As long as I say it, they will act the same as before. When they are home, they’ll behave and won’t do anything bad!”

Shen Yue hurriedly cleared the situation, afraid that Shen Yanxiao would think that Shen Jiayi and Shen Jiawei would take revenge in the future once they’ve grown powerful in the Broken Star Palace.

”Oh...”

Just when Shen Yue was nervously trying to explain, a sound of husky laughter came from the other side.

Unexpectedly, the wounded Shen Duan woke up. He struggled to sit up straight, and once he was properly seated, he looked at Shen Yue who was shaking his tail, begging to be forgiven. He gave a sneer before showing a creepy smile that would make anyone who saw it feel their blood run cold.

”Shen Yue, you are still the same useless and easily swayed person! Do your children really not know about our rebellion? Why do I remember that after we took care of Shen Feng, your two children went into my son’s room to curry favor with him?”
