Supreme Devouring God

”So, you’re saying that now throughout Qian State, the Zen Heart Dragon Palace’s minions are spreading like a virus?” Qin Chen asked.

Yueen Su’s face showed two parts pride as he said, ”Of course, isn’t this a great opportunity for many of us who aren’t born privileged and don’t have strong talents?”

”Cultivating the Zen Heart Conversion Scripture requires neither background nor talent; all it requires is killing people.”

”Do you know? I never thought becoming stronger could be such an easy task. How many people are in Qian State? At least several hundred billion, right?”

As he spoke, he clearly became somewhat excited.

Qin Chen’s face grew even heavier.

Yueen Su’s words held a certain logic.

Although Qin Chen still didn’t know the principles of the Zen Heart Conversion Scripture, he could roughly guess that it must involve forcibly seizing others’ power and then infusing it within oneself.

This is indeed a particularly easy cultivation method, and also one that easily leads people to lose their minds.

This world contains too much injustice.

Some are born into nobility.

But some struggle and work hard all their lives, yet never become nobility.

Because they lack talent, background, resources.

But the Zen Heart Conversion Scripture only requires killing.

It’s too easy.

Qin Chen could imagine, if what Yueen Su said was true.

Then, the spreading power of the Zen Heart Dragon Palace must be unimaginably terrifying.

Eventually spreading throughout the entire Qian State.

Possibly even extending to other regions.

Now, with the current Demon Clan turmoil, the Primordial World is already quite unstable, and now the sudden emergence of a Zen Heart Dragon Palace.

This is undoubtedly a piece of devastating news for the people of Qian State.

Perhaps five thousand years ago, the Zen Heart Dragon Palace was destroyed because of this.

After all, Yueen Su just said that the Zen Heart Dragon Palace is a sect five thousand years old, but he didn’t mention how it was specifically annihilated.

Yet Qin Chen could guess that the Zen Heart Dragon Palace was definitely exterminated by joint forces.

If everyone advocated the cultivation method of the Zen Heart Dragon Palace, the world would be utterly chaotic.

”Where is your Zen Heart Dragon Palace?” Qin Chen asked.

Yueen Su said, ”We are just Silver Pattern Disciples within the Zen Heart Dragon Palace, how could we know where the Dragon Palace is?”

”But I think, with Young Master Qin’s talent, if you join the Dragon Palace, you will definitely quickly attract the Dragon Palace’s attention, and whatever you wish to know will certainly be revealed.”

Qin Chen asked, ”What level are Silver Pattern Disciples in the Zen Heart Dragon Palace?”

Yueen Su was very willing to answer Qin Chen, because the more questions Qin Chen asked, the more interested he seemed, right?

Once someone like Qin Chen, Heaven’s Pride, joins the Zen Heart Dragon Palace, he not only wouldn’t die, but as the recommender, he would also receive rewards.

After all, the Zen Heart Dragon Palace has burst onto the scene, already widely recruiting talents.

Because the Zen Heart Dragon Palace might confront the entire Qian State, it needs very strong power to prevent the tragedy of five thousand years ago from happening again.

Yueen Su said, ”Within the Dragon Palace, according to different cultivation levels, there are Copper Pattern Disciples, Silver Pattern Disciples, Golden Pattern Disciples, plus Dragon Pattern Deacons and the strongest Zen Heart Dharma King.”

”Above them is our mighty Palace Master, the Zen Heart Dragon King.”

”He has a certain identity, and I believe Young Master Qin will be surprised to hear it.”

Qin Chen asked, ”What identity?”

Yueen Su proudly said, ”Dragon King, one of the Primordial World Domain Gods, a disciple under the Primordial Buddha.”

”The Zen Heart Conversion Scripture is a great cultivation technique created by the Dragon King, integrating the inheritance of the Primordial Buddha.”

”Five thousand years ago, the Dragon King almost unified Qian State, overthrowing the governance of Qian State Prefecture with the Zen Heart Conversion Scripture.”

Primordial Buddha?

Qin Chen didn’t know the Primordial Buddha, but he understood Primordial World Domain Gods.

Yet, aren’t Primordial World Domain Gods supposed to guard the Primordial World?

This Zen Heart Dragon King is clearly harming the Primordial World!

Little Fairy said, ”The Primordial Buddha’s Buddhist Law is boundless; he is the foremost figure in the Primordial World Buddhist Path. As he just said, the Zen Heart Conversion Scripture was created by the Zen Heart Dragon King himself, so this matter shouldn’t involve the Primordial Buddha.”

”However, this guy obtained the Primordial Buddha’s inheritance, yet applied it to vile and crooked ways; it’s utterly shameless. Is he worthy of the Primordial Buddha’s teachings?”

Little Fairy was somewhat angry.

After hearing this, Qin Chen just realized that the situation is likely as Little Fairy said.

The Buddhist Path emphasizes cultivating one’s nature; the Primordial Buddha, as the leading figure of the Primordial World Buddhist Path, would certainly not use Buddhist Law to harm the world.

At least, the Primordial Buddha wouldn’t use it to become a Primordial World Domain God.

Yueen Su revealed his sleeve.

There was a silver pattern like a bug on his elbow.

He said to Qin Chen, ”This is the mark of our Zen Heart Dragon Palace disciples; I am a Silver Pattern Disciple, so my insect pattern is silver.”

”Once at the Dragon Pattern Deacon level, the insect pattern will transform into a dragon pattern.”

Saying this, Yueen Su’s face showed several traces of longing.

”Before cultivating the Zen Heart Conversion Scripture, I thought it absolutely impossible for me to reach that level.”

”But now I feel anything is possible.”

Yueen Su was extremely confident.

Like a penniless person suddenly finding a lucrative method, naturally filled with extreme excitement.

But Qin Chen’s mood grew increasingly heavy.

Yueen Su’s cultivation was at the Fifth Layers of the Tribulation Transformation Realm, yet was only a Silver Pattern Disciple.

Above him were Golden Pattern Disciples, Dragon Pattern Deacons, and the Zen Heart Dharma King and others.

How strong must those people be?

”I must hurry back to Saber Saint Cliff to see if they have learned of this matter.”

Qin Chen understood the gravity of the situation.

With a swing of his blade, he killed the other two Silver Pattern Disciples.

Yueen Su was momentarily stunned, then exclaimed in shock, ”What are you doing?”

He had thought Qin Chen was asking so much to join the Zen Heart Dragon Palace; who would have imagined that Qin Chen would act so swiftly?

Qin Chen coldly said, ”Killing for cultivation will surely bring divine wrath.”

Once Yueen Su heard, he knew Qin Chen was going to kill him too, and he ferociously said, ”Qin Chen, if you kill us, the Dragon Palace won’t spare you.”

”You have extraordinary talent; if you join the Dragon Palace, you’ll surely have a bright future. What does justice count for in the face of strength?”

”Splat!”

Just as he finished speaking.

Qin Chen swung the Bloodthirsty Demon Blade, slicing through his throat.

Yueen Su clutched his throat, bleeding profusely, eyes wide as he stared at Qin Chen, unable to utter a word.

He ultimately collapsed heavily on the ground, dying with indignant disbelief.

Qin Chen stared at him and said, ”A person can lack a sense of justice, but they must never lose their true self. If all one desires is strength, then what’s the point?”

Cultivation has no end; if one doesn’t even know why they’re becoming stronger, they’ll only waste their life in vain.

Qin Chen’s only reason for becoming strong was to avoid being bullied by others, nothing more.
