Supreme Devouring God

”With the Saint’s assurance, we can be at ease. We trust the Saber Saint Cliff.”

The Jingyue Emperor said, then turned to Liuw Cheng and Hea Zhangxuan: ”You two take the Purple Lightning Talisman Eagle and accompany the two Saints to the Blood Spirit Pavilion.”

”Yes.”

Liuw Cheng and Hea Zhangxuan responded respectfully.

The Blood Spirit Pavilion will be your place of death!

They thought to themselves.

”There’s no need. I will ride the Black Scale Eagle.” Qin Chen said.

The speed of the Black Scale Eagle is naturally faster than that of the Purple Lightning Talisman Eagle. After all, the former is an ancient strange beast of the Tribulation Transformation Realm.

Watching Liuw Cheng lead Qin Chen and the others away.

The eyes of the Jingyue Emperor and the Empress Dowager gleamed, then they swiftly removed their robes.

At this moment, they appeared extremely monstrous, surrounded by a blood energy as if they had slaughtered many, no longer resembling the emperor and empress of earlier.

More like demons who wouldn’t blink at killing.

”We will also head to the Blood Spirit Pavilion to inform the Blood Spirit Ancestor in advance.”

The Jingyue Empress Dowager, who normally needed assistance to walk, was now full of boundless strength, with waves of blood energy flickering from her pores, transforming into a blood shadow, then disappearing.

Immediately, the Jingyue Emperor followed suit.

On the way.

”Riding that Purple Lightning Talisman Eagle earlier, how many days will it take to reach the Blood Spirit Pavilion?”

Qin Chen asked.

Liuw Cheng replied: ”About four days, five at most.”

Qin Chen nodded.

With that, riding the Black Scale Eagle, he would definitely arrive in four days.

”Stop before reaching the Blood Spirit Pavilion, so we can approach quietly without alerting them.” Qin Chen said.

Liuw Cheng replied: ”Yes, Saint.”

Qin Chen used telekinesis to control the Black Scale Eagle and closed his eyes to meditate.

Traveling from Saber Saint Cliff to the Jingyue Dynasty, he encountered no dangers, and now within the dynasty, he expected no major issues.

Four days later.

”Saint, we’re about a thousand miles from the Blood Spirit Pavilion’s headquarters.” Liuw Cheng reminded.

Qin Chen opened his eyes, looked forward, nodded, then immediately guided the Black Scale Eagle to land.

The ground here must have been a large city.

The architecture indicated a sizable area.

However, now this city had become a ghost town.

Bodies lay scattered everywhere.

They all shared the same trait, their blood had been drained, leaving mummified corpses.

Splendid buildings had all collapsed, suggesting a fierce battle once occurred here.

Liuw Cheng looked indignant: ”It’s our fault! We failed to protect the citizens of Jingyue! We are guilty!”

His eyes were red, on the verge of tears.

Qin Chen said: ”The blame isn’t entirely on you; the Blood Spirit Pavilion is too wicked.”

He noticed that many were mere civilians with basic fighting skills.

Yet the Blood Spirit Pavilion spared no one, draining them of blood.

It’s truly heinous.

Qin Chen also saw pregnant women and young children, all dead here, with gruesome appearances.

Lin Songyun’s face was extremely dark: ”That damned Blood Spirit Pavilion!”

Qin Chen asked: ”Why does the Blood Spirit Pavilion drain these people’s blood? What is their purpose?”

Liuw Cheng said: ”I don’t know the exact reason, but almost everyone they kill ends up bloodless.”

Little Fairy’s voice echoed in Qin Chen’s mind: ”Many cults or demon sects have extremely cruel methods of cultivation, using human blood for cultivation, which is quite common.”

”Hence, this Blood Spirit Pavilion should be an evil cult, and certainly not one that appeared from thin air.”

Qin Chen nodded, then said to Liuw Cheng and Hea Zhangxuan: ”You two stay here, help guard the Black Scale Eagle, we will check things out ourselves.”

Liuw Cheng said: ”Saints, we despise the Blood Spirit Pavilion, please let us join you.”

”We’ve been there several times, are familiar and experienced, so our presence would be beneficial.”

Qin Chen did not refuse, he told the Black Scale Eagle: ”Hide nearby, I’ll leave a message imprint on you; contact me in case of sudden incidents.”

Qin Chen used telekinesis to embed the message imprint in the Black Scale Eagle’s brain.

The Black Scale Eagle nodded.

”Let’s go.”

Qin Chen led the way.

The air was thick with a scent of blood, and due to prolonged exposure, a stench of decay also pervaded.

Qin Chen extended his telekinesis, keeping it controlled to avoid alerting anyone.

But, as Su Jingchen neared the Blood Spirit Pavilion, Qin Chen saw not a single person on the way.

”Even if there are no scouts nearby, shouldn’t there be someone at this proximity?”

Qin Chen frowned.

Something’s off!

Liuw Cheng said: ”Perhaps the Blood Spirit Pavilion has gone out, again tormenting our Jingyue citizens!”

Qin Chen looked ahead.

Faintly, he could see hastily constructed villages.

The surrounding world was exceedingly dark.

The ground was littered with bodies.

At least 100,000 people had died here.

The sight was deeply alarming.

Qin Chen proceeded onward, arriving at the Blood Spirit Pavilion’s entrance.

Upon reaching it, Qin Chen still hadn’t seen anyone.

He pushed open the gate.

Inside, there weren’t bodies everywhere, but the scent of blood was still intense.

The surroundings were unnaturally quiet.

”Even if they’ve left, shouldn’t there be someone inside the camp?”

Qin Chen furrowed his brow.

This was too unnatural.

”Indeed, it’s quite odd.”

Liuw Cheng said.

Lin Songyun said: ”We should be extra careful, there might be an ambush.”

Qin Chen remained highly alert, delving deeper into the Blood Spirit Pavilion.

He sensed the ground was drenched in fresh blood, the unbearable stench forcing Qin Chen to use elemental power to block external air.

Surrounding were simple houses built with rudimentary bricks and tiles.

The houses were small, seemed like single rooms, eerily identical as if copied.

”Is this really the Blood Spirit Pavilion?”

Qin Chen felt he was crossing through it without seeing anyone and paused.

”This is definitely the Blood Spirit Pavilion!!!”

Unexpectedly, Liuw Cheng standing behind him suddenly screamed sharply.

Maintaining high focus, Qin Chen instantly turned, only for his scalp to tingle drastically upon seeing Liuw Cheng’s state.
