Supreme Devouring God

Chapter 111: Chapter 111: Father Is in Trouble!

”Elder Qing!”

Qin Chen followed Sheng Xuefu, rushing quickly to Thunder Sky Sect.

Upon arriving at the Martial Arts Pavilion, Qin Chen went straight into the teahouse.

Ying Qing sat inside the teahouse, with a troubled look on his face.

”Elder Qing, Sister Xuefu told me you had urgent business with me. What’s going on?”

Seeing Ying Qing’s troubled expression, Qin Chen’s sense of foreboding grew even stronger.

”Your father, something has happened to him.”

Ying Qing hesitated for a while, but still spoke up.

”What?!”

Upon hearing Ying Qing’s words, Qin Chen’s heart skipped a beat.

His complexion turned deathly pale in an instant.

”What exactly happened?”

Qin Chen was extremely anxious.

”I’m not clear on the specifics. I only know that your father’s troubles are related to a sect force from the Blood Continent Islands called Dismantling Demon Sect,” Ying Qing said with a shake of his head.

”Dismantling Demon Sect?”

Qin Chen frowned. He was unfamiliar with the Blood Continent Islands, and naturally did not know about this Dismantling Demon Sect.

”Where did you get this information from?” asked Qin Chen.

”Ever since you came to Thunder Sky Sect and I found out that your father was Qin Wen, I’ve maintained some contact with your father.”

”Just now, the last message from your father was that something unforeseen had occurred on his end relating to the Dismantling Demon Sect, and he might not be able to contact us again. He asked me to take good care of you.”

”Then do you know how he is doing now?” Qin Chen asked.

”I don’t know the specifics, but there shouldn’t be any danger to his life in the short term,” said Ying Qing.

Hearing this, Qin Chen finally felt some relief.

However.

Ying Qing had said only in the short term, which meant his father was still in some danger.

”When my father went to the Blood Continent Islands, he said he was looking for something. Do you know what that something is? Did he find it?”

Qin Chen tentatively asked, although he knew Ying Qing might not know.

”That object, I know of it, but I can’t tell you right now. As for whether he has found it, it seems that he probably hasn’t,” Ying Qing told Qin Chen.

Qin Chen’s brows furrowed.

”No matter what, I must make a trip to the Blood Continent Islands to investigate what exactly is going on!”

Qin Chen had made up his mind.

After all, there were still two years until the Ten Thousand Sects Peak Battle.

These two years, adventuring through the dangerous lands of the Blood Continent Islands would also serve as a trial for him.

Of course.

More importantly, he needed to investigate this series of events. Why had his father become involved with the Dismantling Demon Sect?

Where exactly was his father now, and was he safe?

All of this, Qin Chen needed to investigate clearly.

After all, apart from his mother, whom he had never met since birth,

his father was his only kin in this world!

Qin Chen absolutely would not allow his father to be in any danger!

”You’re going to the Blood Continent Islands?”

Upon hearing this, Ying Qing was startled.

Everyone in the Great Origin Dynasty knew what kind of place the Blood Continent Islands were.

That place was where the strong ruled, with almost no reasoning to speak of!

Even the reach of the Great Origin Dynasty could hardly extend there!

A slight misstep could lead to death!

”Yes, no matter what, I must find out what exactly is happening,” Qin Chen nodded firmly.

Seeing the determination in Qin Chen’s eyes, Ying Qing knew that any further attempts to persuade him would probably be futile.

”Very well, if you can emerge from that place, your strength will certainly experience a substantial increase.”

Ying Qing changed his way of thinking and nodded.

”Did I hear that during the great competition, you crippled two geniuses from the Azure Sky Sword Sect, one of whom was the strongest disciple of the Sword Sect?”

Ying Qing suddenly asked.

Qin Chen nodded.

”In my opinion, the Azure Sky Sword Sect will not let you off the hook. Even if they don’t take action against you in the open, they will definitely not spare you in secret.”

”In that case, now, while the people from the Azure Sky Sword Sect haven’t reacted, I’ll send you to the Blood Continent Islands. Then the Sword Sect won’t be able to deal with you!”

”How far are the Blood Continent Islands from Thunder State?” Qin Chen asked.

”In the Great Origin Dynasty, every state has a Transmission Array. No matter how far, you can teleport, although it does require the payment of some stone coins.”

”Transmission Array?”

Qin Chen’s eyes suddenly lit up. This seemed to make things much more convenient.

”Let’s go. While the Azure Sky Sword Sect hasn’t reacted, I’ll send you off,” Ying Qing said.

”No.” Qin Chen suddenly shook his head.

”What’s wrong?” Ying Qing asked, looking puzzled.

”There’s one thing I need to take care of before I go.”

A trace of Killing Aura exploded in Qin Chen’s eyes.

He remembered very clearly what Luu Zhen Nan’s trio had done to him.

Returning from the Blood Continent Islands would take two years; he might as well settle this blood feud now.

”I’ll accompany you.”

Seeing the Killing Aura in Qin Chen’s eyes, Ying Qing knew Qin Chen must be going to kill someone, but without asking further, he said.

”No need.” Qin Chen shook his head.

He had said when he left Thunder Mountain City that he would personally settle this blood feud!

”I’m just worried that the Azure Sky Sword Sect might make a move against you,” Ying Qing said.

”The great competition just ended today; the Azure Sky Sword Sect’s reaction can’t be that fast, can it?” Qin Chen said.

”Okay then, just be careful.”

Ying Qing, hearing this, nodded as well.

Indeed.

The Azure Sky Sword Sect would not make a move so soon, not today.

Qin Chen set off as soon as he said he would, heading straight for Thunder Mountain City after leaving the Martial Arts Pavilion.

However.

What Qin Chen did not notice was that as he left the Thunder Sky Sect, a figure was watching him from not too far away.

...

Azure Sky Sword Sect.

The Azure Sky Sword Sect was founded by a Sword Dao Great Power, the Azure Sky Sword King.

The most famous thing in the Sword Sect was undoubtedly Azure Sky Mountain.

At the time, the Azure Sky Sword King founded the Sword Sect and left several Sword Traces on Azure Sky Mountain.

These Sword Traces, containing immense Sword Rhythm, had benefitted countless disciples of the Sword Sect over the years.

Right now, within a secret chamber on Azure Sky Mountain, several people were gathering.

The Sect Master, Duan Qingqian, and Zang Qingyun, were all conspicuously present.

”We cannot let the matter of crippling the first and second ranked disciples of my Azure Sky Sword Sect go just like that!”

When Duan Qingqian said this, Killing Aura surged through his body.

”Sect Master!”

At this moment, someone walked into the secret chamber.

”What is it?”

Duan Qingqian frowned and asked.

”It’s the news from the spy we sent to monitor Qin Chen,” the person hurriedly reported.

”News?” Duan Qingqian’s brows rose immediately; then, he gestured with his hand, ”Let him in!”
