Supreme Vision Master

Chapter 729: Chapter 729: The Old Man Planning to Run Away from Home

”Let’s go!” she cried out in embarrassed anger.

This humiliation, she would eventually repay Evil Doctor Ghost Eyes in full!

She warned herself to be ready!

The group fled from Black Domain Main City in a wretched and desolate manner, like a pack of homeless dogs.

Meanwhile, Luo Qingtong appeared suddenly behind a few figures, close to a corner of the surrounding wall at the back door of Black Domain Main City Lord’s Mansion.

”Grandpa, where are you going?”

Looking at a sneaky figure crouching on the wall, Luo Qingtong’s face was full of helplessness.

”Ah? Qingtong? Oh no!”

As Old Master Luo, who was covertly preparing to climb over the wall, suddenly heard Luo Qingtong’s voice, he got startled. Before he could turn back, he missed his footing and fell from the high city wall of the Lord’s Mansion.

”Grandpa!”

Seeing this, Luo Qingtong flicked her robe sleeves, hurriedly leaped over, and caught Old Master Luo.

This spared him from a disgraceful fall.

”Cough cough cough... Qingtong, you’re back?” Old Master Luo stood below the wall, his eyes darting around, revealing a guilty conscience.

”Yes, I am. If I hadn’t come back, where were you planning to sneak off to?”

Luo Qingtong raised an eyebrow and asked him.

She had already removed her Rashamon Ghost Mask and let down her long hair that had been tied up high, casually tying it into a bun at the side, appearing playful and cute.

In a flash, Luo Qingtong transformed from an androgynous, wickedly charming young man into a stunningly beautiful enchanting girl.

Holding her Rashamon Ghost Mask, she stood there with crossed arms, tilting her head slightly and looking at her grandfather with a pair of arching eyebrows.

Just then, she had received a message from Black Domain Main City Lord’s Mansion, indicating that Old Master Luo seemed to be sneaking out, prompting her to rush back.

”No... not at all...” Old Master Luo’s eyes flickered more intensely.

”I just wanted... yes, to take a walk! I just wanted to go for a walk!” he slapped his thigh confidently as he spoke.

”Grandpa just wanted to go out for a walk, feeling too stifled. Was there a need for such a fuss, girl? You almost scared me to death!”

”Really?” Luo Qingtong looked at him with a half-smiling face: ”Climbing over the wall just to take a walk? And with a package?”

As she spoke, her gaze landed on a package slung over Old Master Luo’s body.

”...”

Old Master Luo, seeing the evidence of his attempt to escape caught red-handed, suddenly felt his old face twitch.

”Yes, I did want to leave!”

Seeing that he could no longer hide it, Old Master Luo suddenly bit his lip and dejectedly squatted on the ground.

”Qingtong, don’t bother with grandpa anymore. This matter... you can’t manage it...”

Old Master Luo’s voice was low.

Thinking about the news he had just heard in the City Lord’s Mansion about the Empress Dowager seeking marriage, he felt a suffocating frustration.

He knew Luo Qingtong brought him to Black Domain Main City hoping to help him.

But he was no longer young and lacked strength, what could he offer Yan Xi?

Even if Luo Qingtong could enlist the help of Black Domain’s strength for him, Old Master Luo couldn’t overcome his own reservations.

Moreover...

”In any case, don’t worry about grandpa anymore. Qingtong, you’ve been running around too much for grandpa’s sake, even neglecting matters at Daqin Saint Institute.”

”Go back! Grandpa will be fine, I just need to go out for a walk. If I don’t think about your grandma’s situation, I should be fine.”

Old Master Luo said with a forlorn expression.

He truly didn’t want to burden his granddaughter any further with his affairs.

After all, for someone like him, this was as good as it gets...
