Supreme Sword Exalt

Gu Han stood ragged, covered in countless bloody gashes. He was so angry he wanted to curse his ancestors. Too strong and terrifying! So this is how powerful I really am!

He had never imagined that he could be this strong. In the past, he had always relied on the Supreme Stages and his sword techniques to bully others. But today, he finally got a taste of his own medicine, thoroughly tormented by himself!

Gu Han was confident he could defeat any other Saint realm cultivators. However, his Saint realm self was another story entirely...

This isn’t even a fight! I can’t win! He’s unbeatable!

He suddenly felt a bit of sympathy for his past opponents. He’s just impossible to overcome! Where did those people even find the courage to fight me?!

Just then, his clone casually waved his hand, and a blood-tinged, unrivaled sword aura landed right in front of him. “Kill!”

Gu Han didn’t even have time to curse. “I—”

His invisible sword qi compressed to a cun around him. He held his sword horizontally, blocking the blow at the critical moment. As the sword aura struck him, it exploded into countless tiny sword auras, once again carving countless wounds across him.

Gu Han crashed heavily to the ground. His jade-colored robe hung in tatters, barely covering him. He seemed utterly pathetic. With difficulty, he raised his head, shoving a drop of Transcendent Substance into his mouth.

His clone swayed and landed beside him, looking concerned. “Can you hold on? There’s still fifteen minutes left. How about we call it quits? Dying at your own hand would be a real disgrace.”

What a bastard! Gu Han felt that his clone had a really sharp tongue! He refused to believe that they were the same person!

The clone kept taunting him, “How is it? Getting thrashed by yourself feels awful, isn’t it?”

Gu Han spat out a mouthful of blood and said hatefully, “What are you so proud of?! I’m the real Gu Han. All your strength comes from me!”

The other was also a bit speechless. Talk was talk, but his hands never slowed down in the slightest. Wrapping his sword in a vast Saint might, he slashed down toward Gu Han.

Gu Han truly wanted to curse his ancestors. Of all things to manifest, why me?! If you had manifested Fatty, I’d beat his head in!

Meanwhile, faced with the threat of the manifested Fu Yulin, Fatty instantly caved. “Daddy Yulin! Cut me some slack, would you?”

He was quite philosophical about it. Fu Yulin was Fatty, and Fatty was Fu Yulin. Calling himself daddy was just a little joke at worst!

His clone threw his head back and laughed heartily. “Not bad, not bad. You listen well. I’m quite pleased!”

Fatty nimbly scrambled to his feet. “As long as you’re pleased, then let’s—”

Before he could finish, a golden ancient bell fell, trapping him inside.

Fatty was completely dumbfounded. “What are you doing?!”

His clone clasped his hands behind his back. “I forgot to mention that it was just a joke. It doesn’t count!”

Fatty was silent for a moment before losing it. “Fucking hell!!! I’ve never met such a shameless person! You’re even more shameless than that little bald donkey!”

“Amitabha.”

“Amitabha.”

“Today, I shall convert you to Buddhahood.”

“Today, I shall convert you to demonhood.”

Two identical Wu Xin’s chanted a Buddhist chant in unison, but what they said differed by one word. The former phrase came from his clone, while the latter came from the real Wu Xin.

A flash of madness gleamed in his clone’s eyes. “You harbor a demon in your heart. I shall vanquish the demon and uphold the dharma!”

The madness and bloodthirst in Wu Xin’s eyes were almost several times stronger than the former’s. “My demon knows mercy. It is hungry!”

As his words fell, two voices rose simultaneously. One was the chanting of Buddha’s teachings, while the other was the chanting of demonic teachings.

A vajra projection, wielding a vajra staff, appeared behind each of them. Since his clone was in the Saint realm, its projection was several times larger. Amid the radiant light, a trace of violence and madness lurked in its eyes. The Saint realm vajra straightened its form, its Saint might spreading outward, dispersing all the surrounding mist.

His clone pressed his palms together. “Demon fetus, I shall eradicate you!”

As he spoke, the manifested Wu Xin pressed his palms together. The vajra projection appeared before Wu Xin and smashed down heavily. In response, Wu Xin showed no sign of resisting, taking the blow head-on. He was instantly sent flying and nearly turned into a pulp of flesh.

After landing on the ground, the light in his eyes rapidly dimmed, replaced by a pure blackness. “Still... not enough! Again!”

The clone chanted as the madness in his eyes grew heavier, “Amitabha. You are deeply lost to demonhood, beyond redemption! I will send you off!”

The vajra raised its arm high and slammed it down again. The blow was far more powerful than the last. As blood splattered, only Wu Xin’s head remained as everything below had turned into a pool of blood and gore. Yet, he still did not die.

The light in his eyes rapidly faded as he painfully said, “Enough... enough.”

As his life force completely ran out, his vajra projection vanished along with him.

The clone chanted again, “Amitabha. Buddha is merciful.”

He seemed to have completed his mission and slowly dissipated. Just then, a change occurred. An ancient will, full of cruelty and violence, fell upon the scene.

A roar sounded. The dissipating vajra projection reappeared. Instead of a vajra, it was more like a demon. Blood-red horns grew from its head. Its fangs were sharp, while its long crimson tongue was covered in drool. Rows of spikes faintly emerged from its spine.

From Wu Xin’s corpse, a dense light surged forth. Under the light’s illumination, the demon’s face was scorched, and its skin split open. It screamed incessantly as clouds of green smoke rose from it. Wu Xin opened his eyes again. They were completely black.

His head flew up, his mouth gaping open. It continued to swell, becoming an abyssal maw tens of zhang across that swallowed his clone and his vajra’s projection.

The demon, still bathed in light, roared again. Red light blazed from it, and that ancient, violent will reappeared, dispersing the light entirely.

The ancient will slowly approached, asking emotionlessly, “Wu Xin?”

From within the giant maw, Wu Xin replied, “Demon Lord?”

“The Demon Lord is Wu Xin. Wu Xin is the Demon Lord.”

As the voice faded, the giant maw howled forward, swallowing the demon whole. Coiling and twisting, the giant maw gradually contracted, once again becoming a head. Visibly, the mass of blood and gore below drifted up and gathered beneath the head.

In the blink of an eye, Wu Xin appeared completely unharmed, his expression was blank. His pitch-black eyes were full of violence and cruel bloodthirst, completely devoid of human nature. Moreover, perhaps because he had swallowed his clone, he had reached the Saint realm.

Black qi swirled in his eyes as he murmured with endless greed, “Hungry...”
