Wizard: I Add Points and Hunt Monsters

”Oh?”

Wei’en turned to look at the smiling Mr. Leonard. After seeing him nod, he offered a less-than-pleasant smile in return and continued, ”So how does one enter this so-called ’real’ world of yours?”

”Heh heh, you... you want... want to go there?” The Grave Digger’s eyes widened, his body trembling as if in a fit of derisive laughter.

”Can you tell me how?”

”Fine, fine... Only through slaughter can one fall into eternal reality! Heheheh... Go and slaughter, slaughter—”

The Grave Digger struggled to his feet and spread his arms—the ones that no longer held tombstones. He laughed gutturally. ”When the intent to kill blankets the ’illusory’ world, when the great Master of True Slaughter descends, that ’reality’ will arrive to devour... devour this place!”

”So, you don’t have a way to get there either?”

”O-Of course...”

Wei’en’s smile didn’t falter, showing no sign of disappointment. His gaze shifted to the black carriage ahead. ”Next question. Are you here to retrieve those Pyramids? The so-called ’receptacles for the intent to kill’?”

”Huh?” The Grave Digger’s laughter stopped abruptly. His one murky eye stared intently at Wei’en. ”You... how do you know?”

”A guess. But it looks like I guessed right.”

Wei’en’s smile grew even wider. ”I wonder, can you tell me what those Pyramids are for? Are they just to increase the power of the Deep Sea Giant Beasts?”

”No, impossible... You can’t possibly know that much... Even if you ruined the experiment on Dakman Island, you shouldn’t know... know this?!”

The Grave Digger’s chest heaved. He seemed to have suffered a massive shock, one even greater than if he had been abandoned by the ”Master of True Slaughter” he so piously worshipped!

”Then let’s change the question. How many of those Pyramids exist in this sea? And how many do you need to achieve your desired outcome?”

The Grave Digger stared at him as if he hadn’t heard the question, his body trembling as he kept repeating the single word, ”Impossible.”

After a long moment, he gradually calmed down. More ash billowed from the craters on his face, and his ruined body looked as if it might dissolve at any moment. He forced a strange, twisted smile.

”I... won’t tell you!”

”I know, but...”

A flicker of disgust crossed Wei’en’s crimson eyes as he continued, ”But I’m guessing that if I get my hands on more of those Pyramids before you do... it would probably cause a major disruption to your plans, wouldn’t it?”

”You?!”

The Grave Digger never imagined he would have such a dark and terrifying thought—to actually consider intercepting the blessings bestowed by the great Master of True Slaughter?

This... this...

”Looks like I guessed right again.”

Wei’en smiled at him, gave a slight, polite bow, and said, ”Thank you for telling me all this. After I’ve collected more Pyramids, I’ll wait for your Dusk Sect to come find me, and then...”

”I will tell them that it was you, a kind-hearted Grave Digger, who revealed the great ’Master of True Slaughter’s’ plan to me.”

”I will also tell them that not only do you want to sabotage the plan, but you also despise that ’real’ world and yearn to see the Master of True Slaughter butchered like a dog. To that end...”

”I might not be able to let you die so easily!”

”You, you, you...”

The Grave Digger was terrified by these words. He couldn’t believe someone would think of such a vicious way to deal with him. And the crucial part was, this person planned to keep him alive...

”I... I... I curse you! I curse you to be devoured by ’reality,’ to be killed by the Dusk Sect...”

’A curse?’

Wei’en raised his hand and snapped his fingers, his eyes already filled with endless killing intent. ”Specter.”

The specter, receiving his command and sensing the pain and fury in his heart, grew solemn. A rune magnified and appeared on its forehead as it chanted:

”Bo’a, Ti’aoji, Syeji!”

As the incantation took effect, a Rune Array materialized beneath the Grave Digger. A gray mist began to rise, slowly enveloping his body.

”This... you... you’re turning me into an Undead Creature?! AHH—damn it, I’m still alive!!”

”Alive? I know. I also know that doing it this way will let you retain more of your memories from life, but...” Wei’en chuckled lightly. ”That just makes it more interesting, doesn’t it?”

”AHH—I curse you—”

His agonized screams continued as the gray mist shrouded his body, weaving in and out of the holes in his flesh, gradually transforming him.
