Wizard: I Add Points and Hunt Monsters

She knew the sea charts were a powerful tool for the church to hunt down heretics. They were an extension of the great Dawn Realm, capable of locating them just as one could perceive a fundamental aura on the River of Destiny.

And for it to just disappear...

’A Demigod made a move... Was it one of those old fossils from the Ghost Soul School, or someone else...’

Celestia pondered for a few seconds, then looked at the Desecrator beside her. ”Who do you think is obstructing our pursuit?”

”I don’t know,” Melbel replied calmly, his gaze fixed on a part of the Caster City State that had yet to be fully rebuilt.

”You know a fair bit about him. You should be able to deduce his destination, right?”

”If you’re referring to the time I nearly killed him, then yes, I suppose you could say I know him.”

”If that were truly the case, none of this would be happening now,” Celestia said, giving him a mirthless smile. ”Your power far exceeded his at the time. Why didn’t you finish the job?”

”An oracle from Dawn.”

Melbel glanced at her, then turned and vanished into the night. ”I’m going to welcome Her Eminence, Kali.”

”Hm?”

Celestia stared at the spot where he had vanished, her hand unconsciously stroking the hilt of her sword. ’An oracle... That’s not something a Desecrator can hear.’

’Or was it that Desecrating Angel?’

’If what the Desecrator said is true, then this little judgment trip is more interesting than I thought...’

...

In a remote, unknown region, there was a miraculous land untouched by night, where the red moon did not shine.

A majestic castle rose from the ground, its pristine white walls reflecting the slightly blinding sunlight.

More than ten people in red robes walked slowly into the castle. No one spoke, and even their footsteps were completely silent.

After passing through the grand hall, they arrived at a dimly lit room in the castle’s basement. On the door, the words ”Let the world live forever” were clearly written.

Once everyone was seated at a massive round table, a man with his black hair tied back, who had been waiting for them, knocked on the table before him. ”Everyone’s here. Let’s begin.”

The person to his left stood up, scanned the room, and said in a cold tone, ”Leader, there have only been two recent developments on the Western Continent. First, the Mechanical School has found a way to create a Floating Island. They plan to imitate those madmen from the Third Era and raise a Floating Island of their own.”

”Second, there’s been some unusual activity from the Abyssal Sect. It’s said that something recently happened in the Abyssal Depths, causing that slumbering sovereign to awaken.”

”Oh?” The black-haired man at the head of the table stroked his chin, pondering for a few seconds. ”Elebic, put the matter of the Mechanical School aside for now. Focus on the Abyssal Depths. I want to know why that sovereign has awakened.”

”I understand, Leader Yetano.”

”Next!”

”The Eastern Continent is as chaotic as ever. Setting aside the Eastern Spiritual Mystery School, as for Dawn...”

”...Menor, what about you?”

”The Southern Continent is all normal, aside from those bastards in the shadows...”

After everyone had reported on their respective situations, the black-haired man—the leader of the Eternal Life Association, Yetano Obestan—let out a soft chuckle. ”Seeing you all here tells me the continents have been relatively stable recently. I have to say, that’s good news.”

”But now, I have to tell you something less pleasant—the people from the Dusk Sect are plotting a catastrophe!”

”Menor, fill them in on the situation...”

”Yes, Leader!”

”According to reliable sources, the arrangements of those Secret Cultivators have been discovered on the Cordo Sea. Based on our analysis, they are planning...”

Meanwhile, outside another castle shrouded in darkness.

”Interesting. That little bug who interfered with the ’Punishment of Chaos’ has disappeared?”

A man in a yellow robe, his hood pulled down to hide half his face, looked at the pocket watch in his hand and gently nudged the second hand a few times.

As he did so, the skin on his hand gradually slackened, aging at a speed visible to the naked eye.

”Oh?” said another similarly dressed person standing beside him. This one had short black hair and a smirk on his face. ”Are you telling me you can’t deal with him, Nuriel?”

”Of course not!”

The man named Nuriel let out a few guttural laughs. ”It will just take a little more time, that’s all. I’ll take care of him on my way to the Eastern Continent.”

”I hope so...”

”Hmph,” Nuriel glared at him, revealing an ancient face from beneath his hood. He opened his mouth wide, baring two sharp fangs. ”Barros, you don’t believe me?” he asked, his tone displeased.

”Of course I believe you. It’s just that the Magic Rune flaws he published ruined the great one’s plan. Isn’t letting him die so easily getting off too lightly?”

”Mmm, you’ve reminded me. I can’t let it be like that... Or perhaps I could imprison him in the Blood Domain?”

”You truly are cruel, but I like it.” Barros pulled his hood back up and chuckled. ”Let’s go. It’s almost time. We should head for the tower.”

”Alright, alright...”
