How Could the Villainous Young Master Be a Saintess?

“The food here, does it suit your taste?”

“Ah? It’s very suitable, quite fitting and very good.” This meal was very satisfying, and the naturally engaged Vinny would naturally say it was good when asked. In other words, it was very good, excellent, there was nothing better.

With his whole heart on chewing the steak, of course, he didn’t notice Mirexia’s subtle thoughts during the meal.

He felt that he had never eaten such a delicious delicacy since he was born, it made his blood boil, and he wanted to eat more after finishing, but he had to pretend to be full because of face, and let Mirexia, who wanted to serve him another portion, not trouble herself.

In fact, he still wanted to eat another portion.

His life, if there were regrets, it would be that he just now wanted face over suffering, insisting that he was already full, and did not let Mirexia order another portion of the Holy Shield steak for him.

Ah, if he hadn’t insisted on face just now, how good would it have been?

Vinny was immersed in the regret of the past, while Mirexia was thinking about the atmosphere of their dining together, repeatedly pondering whether Vinny’s every word had more special meaning, and then, the matter of Vinny going to her dormitory.

This was the first time in her life that she invited a member of the opposite sex to her private living area.

Vinny, of course, could not see Mirexia’s entanglement at this moment, not to mention that Mirexia’s expression management was too good—no matter how chaotic her mind was, her face was always calm and composed. Vinny was still regretting the past; how could he have the heart to pay attention to these things?

In Mirexia’s view, Vinny’s hesitation was shyness about going to her dormitory, full of curiosity and desire.

However, what she didn’t know was that what Vinny was thinking was completely unrelated to her guess.

“Vinny, do you have anything to take back to the dormitory?” Seeing Vinny walking toward his own dormitory, Mirexia asked.

“Ah? Oh, there is something to do, I’ll go back and tell my roommate that I have something to do tonight, I won’t go back for dinner.” Vinny remembered that it seemed he was going to Mirexia’s dormitory to detoxify Mirexia.

Well, void detoxification. There was actually no poison—this was a tacit understanding between the two, but it was to give Mirexia a way out, blaming the responsibility on the Bronze Blood.

He should be back soon.

Vinny came to his dormitory, let Mirexia wait at the door, and went up to knock on the door himself.

“Coming, coming, Vinny, it’s so late today, was it delayed by the student council work? Come in quickly, I’ve prepared the meal, change your shoes and you can eat.” Shikondell opened the door from inside, poking out her cute little head.

“Sorry, Dell, my work is not done yet, I have to go back to continue overtime, I don’t have time to eat, I’ll tell you when I pass by, don’t wait for me, eat by yourself.” After explaining to Shikondell, Vinny waved to her and left.

“Ah?” Shikondell looked at the departing Vinny, her eyes flashing with a trace of loss.

After Vinny walked away, she slowly closed the door and sat back at the dining table, looking at the untouched dishes on the table, curled up, hugged her knees with both hands, as if entering a dark state, looking disheartened.

“Vinny, you are really busy.” She muttered to herself.

Really, what was she disappointed about? Vinny is so busy to support himself and her. What right does she have to complain as a burden?

‘Virtue +20.’

‘Current Virtue: 10174.’

Hmm?

On the other hand, Vinny, who walked out of the courtyard, noticed the change in virtue.

Why does the virtue inexplicably increase again?

So, is it from Shikondell or Mirexia?

Vinny glanced at Mirexia, who was calmly walking beside him.

It’s completely invisible—Mirexia’s emotional changes are basically not known to others.

“Every time you have something to do and don’t return to the dormitory, do you have to report it to your roommate?” Mirexia, who was leading the way, suddenly asked, as if she thought of something.

“Not really, but if I pass by normally, I’ll tell him, so he won’t wait for me to eat, but he’s used to me being too busy to return to the dormitory for meals.” Vinny replied.

“...You have to tell him everything, your relationship doesn’t seem to be just roommates.” Mirexia’s voice was mixed with the wind, gently blowing over, but with a faint sourness.

“Ah?” Vinny was stunned. Mirexia was walking in front of him, so he didn’t know what expression Mirexia had when she said this.

“It’s just from an outsider’s perspective, you don’t seem like roommates.” Mirexia added.

“Uh, it’s okay. Dell’s personality is soft, a bit like a girl, and his family has some difficulties. I just thought I could help. We are all roommates—we see each other all the time.”

Vinny’s words made Mirexia think of the incident a few days ago when Shikondell was bullied by a group of tribal youths.

Yes, the Moon Elf’s home has been destroyed by the invaders, and now the Moon Elves wandering outside have no home—perhaps not even relatives.

It’s really pitiful.

For a moment, Mirexia was filled with pity for Shikondell, feeling that she was too petty just now. Her childhood sweetheart was originally a person who would not change his heart and kindness even when carrying malice. It was natural to extend a helping hand to people like Shikondell who were pitiful.

Or rather, Vinny’s kindness and pity for the weak even when not treated gently by the world were the most attractive to Mirexia.

Just like the Radiant Saintness of all generations—even when carrying great pain, they still save the world.

Putting aside her worries, Mirexia took Vinny to a large, luxurious courtyard.

Vinny then remembered that Mirexia’s ranking was also °• N 𝑜 v 𝑒 l i g h t •° among the top five of the second grade, and the place where she lived was the same as Aesphyra—a villa with a luxurious courtyard.

Looking at the bricks and stained glass glowing under the afterglow, such a large three-story villa for one person to live in—it’s really luxurious.

But for Mirexia, perhaps this is nothing. This villa is luxurious, but far from the royal palace, even far from many medium-sized nobles’ courtyards.

Mirexia came to the courtyard gate, swiped her student card on the gate, and the gate clicked open to both sides.

The two entered the courtyard, Vinny looked around like a curious baby.

There were ponds, flower beds, and a few swings in the courtyard. Under the setting sun, it had a sense of indescribable warmth.

Following Mirexia, the two came to the villa door.

Looking at Mirexia swiping the card to open the door, Vinny realized that this seemed to be the first time in his life that he entered a girl’s dormitory—and it was the dormitory of his childhood sweetheart—so he felt a little complicated.

Of course, Shikondell doesn’t count; her public identity is a boy.

Entering the door, a refreshing orange mixed with cornflower scent rushed into Vinny’s nose.

He was familiar with this smell—it was the perfume used by Mirexia. Mirexia seemed to like orange-scented shampoo very much. The scent of the fragrant cornflower was Mirexia’s body odor.

Mirexia seems to have always liked this style of shower gel and perfume since childhood. In her living place, the smell was naturally the strongest.

Smelling this smell, Vinny couldn’t help but think of many things from when they were children.

At that time, Mirexia, who had not yet taken on the responsibility of the queen, was a lively and active little girl.

He remembered that he liked Mirexia at that time. Of course, he also liked Mirexia who became a bit arrogant as she grew up.

But this liking was the liking for childhood friends and best friends.

“Put on these shoes.” Mirexia found a pair of cute cat slippers from the shoe cabinet and handed them to Vinny.

Uh.

Vinny wanted to ask if there were other styles—this style looked like only girls would use—but this was someone else’s home. How could he have so many preferences?

“Sorry, my dormitory has never had boys—well, never had girls either. These are just the slippers I wear.” Mirexia explained.

Oh, so these slippers were Mirexia’s own?

Cats... he remembered that Mirexia had liked cats very much since childhood, especially orange cats.

Vinny put on the slippers. Although they were a bit small, he could still wear them. There were no men’s slippers here.

“Sit down, I’ll make some tea.” Mirexia took off her brown and black loafers, her jade legs wrapped in cream-colored knee-high socks slipping into a pair of cat slippers, and walked to the kitchen, her golden twin ponytails swaying behind her.

Vinny sat on the sofa in the living room and looked around at the decoration.

The spacious room had warm-toned tiles, a crystal chandelier made of glass overhead, walls decorated with artistic paintings, porcelain vases arranged neatly on cabinets, and a velvet sofa that felt very comfortable.

The house was impeccably clean, everything meticulously placed—it was obvious Mirexia had a habit of frequent cleaning.

It can’t be easy to maintain a villa this large, right?

Vinny looked up the staircase toward the second-floor corridor, which displayed many imitation paintings. If you didn’t know this was a dormitory villa, you might mistake it for a small private museum.

“Sorry for the long wait.” Mirexia returned with brewed black tea, placing the tea tray on the coffee table and pouring a cup of hot tea for each of them.

Vinny blew on the tea in his cup. The rising steam carried a fragrance that felt elegant and refined—even someone like Vinny, who knew nothing about tea, could tell that this was high-quality, expensive black tea.

The two of them sat silently on the sofa, sipping tea. Perhaps because of earlier events, no one spoke first.

Vinny’s sitting posture was usually rather casual, but he restrained himself more in Mirexia’s home. Still, not too much—he hadn’t entirely shaken the habit of crossing his legs.

“Vinny.” After who knows how long, Mirexia finally spoke.

“Huh? What?”

“We... don’t we still have something to do?” Mirexia said, holding her tea and trying to sound calm.

“Uh, you mean student council work?” Vinny ventured.

“Well, there’s something else.” Mirexia looked out the floor-to-ceiling window into the courtyard.

“Something else? Like what?”

“...Didn’t you say before you came?” Mirexia kept her tone as light and neutral as possible, as though she were making an ordinary suggestion.

“Ah, you mean... detoxification?” Vinny scratched his head. He had thought Mirexia wouldn’t take it so seriously—just invite him over for a bit of tea, and the whole thing would quietly blow over.

But this was his own suggestion. Not doing it now would seem insincere.

Mirexia didn’t respond. She kept looking out the window. But this was a view she saw every day—was there really anything that interesting?

Silence was a kind of answer—most of the time, it meant agreement.

“Ahem. Yes, my bad memory.” Vinny patted his head.

“If it’s not too late, shouldn’t you get started?” Mirexia looked away, sipping her tea with calm elegance.

Perhaps it was just his imagination, but Vinny felt like her words carried a trace of subtle urgency.

Well, since it was his proposal, he had to follow through.

Vinny exhaled lightly, his hands clasping in a solemn gesture.

In the next moment, cherry-white wings descended and attached to his body. Soft, radiant angel wings enveloped him—and when the light faded, the casually seated blue-haired young man had been replaced by a cherry-haired girl in a graceful, poised sitting position.

“Well, since Mirexia can’t wait, let’s begin~” Vanessa lifted her lids, her hands still delicately holding the teacup on her knees, her elegant posture the very portrait of noble grace.

Looking into those sakura-colored eyes, Mirexia felt her heart gently brushed by the angel’s soft feathers.

‘Virtue +30.’

‘Current Virtue: 10204.’

“I...”

“Shh~ Injured patients mustn’t move around.” Before Mirexia could say more, Vanessa stood up and lightly pressed a single jade-like finger to her moist lips.

“Lie down. Yes, just like that. Good girl~” Under Vanessa’s gentle guidance, Mirexia quietly slipped off her slippers and lay down on the sofa. Afterward, Vanessa stroked her head, casting a gaze full of tenderness from her cherry blossom eyes, her voice soft and coaxing like a lullaby.

“Mmm.” For some reason, Mirexia liked this very much. So much that the blush returned to her calm face—she longed to be treated like a child by Vanessa.

As if the maternal warmth she had lacked since childhood had returned to her at last.
