The July Revolution in France?

This is nothing but a self-entertaining joke!

If Louis Philippe is still the King of France a year from now, he might as well crown himself!

Not in the Cathedral of Reims, but in the Notre Dame of the Paris Stock Exchange!

Rothschild will take on the role of Archbishop for the ceremony.

After the coronation, as per tradition, pigeons will be released, one of which will fly to Saint Helena, alight upon Napoleon’s tomb, and then mockingly say to his remains that it witnessed his successor’s coronation yesterday; however, it was not the Pope who performed the anointing, but a Jew who anointed the entire body.

Moreover, the current ruler of France has now assumed a title, 5% emperor, 3% king, the rest as a protector of bankers and traders!

Upon reading this manuscript, Arthur couldn’t help but twitch his lips.

He took a deep breath and asked, “If I remember correctly, wasn’t Mr.

Heine also a Jew himself?

Even if he dislikes Rothschild, was there really a need to insult the Jewish identity so shamefully in that last paragraph?”

Lionel shook his head slightly and said, “No, that last paragraph wasn’t written by Heine, but was the handiwork of his friend, Mr.

Borne.”

Arthur blew a smoke ring, “Are you sure?

Would a friend really mock Mr.

Heine’s ethnicity like that?”

“Very sure.”

Lionel nodded with a complex expression and said, “Because Mr.

Borne is also a Jew, and moreover, he was born in the Jewish streets of Frankfurt, from where my grandfather also came.

Even now, we often return to the ancestral home in Frankfurt for family meetings.

I really can’t understand what they were thinking, among these two guys, Heine doesn’t know what he’s resisting.

And Borne is even worse; as a Jew, he became a German nationalist.”

“A Jewish German nationalist?”

Arthur covered his mouth and took a deep breath, “Sss…

I never knew these three things could be put together, it’s really…

quite imaginative.

Mr.

Heine is at most a confused young man, but Mr.

Borne, this is sheer madness, and quite severe at that.”

“Exactly.”

Lionel seemed both resigned and amused as he spoke, “As a Jew from Frankfurt, doesn’t he understand where in Europe Jews are most ostracized?

The German States!

The Jews in Britain might have few rights, but what we receive here cannot be compared to what’s in the German regions.

Arthur, I’m not asking you to prevent the publication of this book, but if possible, I’d like you to use the pretext of censorship to talk to them both.”

Arthur furrowed his brow and asked, “According to the article in ‘Blackwood’s’, isn’t Mr.

Heine currently in Paris?”

“Correct, Heine is still in Paris,” Lionel said, “But Borne is currently in London, and Heine will come to London soon to talk with him about publishing the English version of ‘Travel Sketches.’

“Then…” Arthur paused a bit, “How do you know about this?”

Lionel smiled slightly and pulled out a piece of notepaper from his jacket pocket: “Arthur, I must remind you a bit, if you want to send messages, don’t choose the British Postal Office.

It’s not only slow but also prone to losing items.

Moreover, the Rothschild courier service is the best in Europe.”

Arthur realized as he extinguished his cigar with the tip of his shoe, “It’s a pity that in terms of confidentiality, Rothschild is still quite unsatisfactory…”
