As soon as Arthur’s lips moved, the smile on the pianist’s face instantly stiffened.

His smile slowly retracted,, staring sternly at Arthur’s face, and asked word by word, “Mr.

Hastings, are you, sure?”

Arthur nodded slightly, “Do I need to provide the sheet music?”

“No, not at all,” the pianist suddenly stood up, looking seriously at Arthur, “Just to let you know, his concerts in London this year were mostly accompanied by us, the London Philharmonic Association.

We are extremely familiar with this piece.”

Arthur smiled, “That’s great, I will need your assistance in a moment.”

“No, it’s no trouble,” the pianist seemed somewhat angry, “But I must remind you, this piece is already difficult on the violin.

You might not know, but because of this piece, many even speculate that Paganini must have made a deal with the Devil to have the hands to play it.

I cannot imagine anyone daring to say they can perform it on the piano, may I ask brashly, how many years of professional piano education have you received?”

Upon hearing this, Arthur simply flicked the tail of his coat and slowly seated himself on the piano bench.

He responded with a smile, “I’m sorry, sir, I have not received professional piano education.”

“What?!” the pianist was truly irritated now, “Are you joking with me?

A beginner claims he can play this piece?”

Arthur shook his head, “Don’t rush, sir.

Although I haven’t received professional piano education, rest assured, I indeed made a deal with the Devil.

You might not know, but this piece wasn’t cheap even there.”

The pianist, hearing this, could only laugh in frustration, “Really now?

Don’t blame me for not warning you, you are still young, if you embarrass yourself at this kind of social gathering, you might find it difficult to get by in social circles afterwards.”

Arthur also smiled in response, “Thank you for your kind warning.

So, sir…

uh, I haven’t yet asked your esteemed name.”

The pianist was so infuriated he barely wanted to deal with this ignorant young man, but his profound deportment eventually compelled him to reluctantly state his own name.

He hoped his illustrious title would intimidate the young man into backing down, “Member of the Academic Committee of the London College of Music, principal conductor and pianist of the Philharmonic Society, Ignaz Mozesales.”

Contrary to his expectation, Arthur, upon hearing the name, showed no fear but rather complimented him politely, “Ah!

It is you!

I once wanted to go to the Royal Theatre to listen to your performance, but alas, I was too strapped for cash at the time and could only stand outside listening, although the heavy rain that day made it difficult to hear clearly, I still thought your ‘Fourth Piano Concerto’ was extremely beautiful and moving.”

Mozesales had thought Arthur would either be intimidated or retaliate sarcastically, but Arthur’s compliments instead made him feel rather embarrassed.

He pursed his lips and spoke, “Young man, listen to me, you can change to another piece.

That one is too difficult, not suitable for you.”

Arthur took a deep breath, his hands resting on the piano keys, “Don’t worry, Mr.

Mozesales, you may not know, but my nickname is ‘Scotland Yard’s Paganini.’
