The Wealthy Tycoon's Game of Life

Chapter 984: Chapter 367: A Corner of the Heavenly Palace (Part 2)

When it came to this topic, President Lan didn’t shy away much, he just smiled and said, ”You booked Bixiao Palace, which has the largest room area, so the minimum spending is as high as two million. In fact, if it were the smallest Jinxiu Painting Workshop, the minimum spending would only be three hundred thousand...”

”Only three hundred thousand”?

Zhou Wang couldn’t help but click his tongue, listening to these rarefied terms.

In a small county town, that would be a whole house paid in full.

Nineteen rooms, the most expensive minimum spending is 2 million, the cheapest is 300 thousand, let’s just take an average of a million, with all 19 rooms occupied, the day’s turnover would be 19 million.

Like a Windsor chain KTV, even if it’s full every day, the monthly turnover probably wouldn’t reach half of ”Heavenly Palace”.

After all, nearly 20 million could buy foreign wine at 1,000 per bottle and still make a mountain...

Calculating like this, it’s terrifying as hell.

No wonder people dare to spend over a billion just to build a KTV, at most they’d make back their turnover within a year or so.

Of course, all of the above is based on the most ideal circumstances.

In reality, to open a KTV intended for such a specific small group of clients, the energy and connections required are beyond what ordinary people can reach.

As they chatted away, President Lan had already led the group to the elevator entrance, indeed an independent elevator, standing at a corner of the building, the entire wall adorned with flowing wall lamps, giving a warm and tranquil vibe.

The elevator arrived at the second floor, out of the elevator, directly opposite was the open entrance of the private room, one side had a corridor leading to other parts of the building, but in view, this area had only this one room.

At the entrance of the room, on the left, was a row of girls wearing cheongsams with tall stature, white skin, and long legs, while on the right was a group of service staff with remarkable appearances, bowing in unison as the elevator doors opened.

”Welcome, good evening!”

Very simple greetings, yet the particularly enthusiastic tone and neat actions still made people comfortable.

But some were startled.

Mainly Cheng Xueqing and Li Fei who had become unconsciously reserved since entering the manor; normally, Cheng Xueqing would have taken her phone out to snap pictures, but now she didn’t even know where to place her hands.

From Ji Xiaoxi’s perspective, because she knew Zhou Wang was wealthy, and had long been shocked numb while abroad, hearing Qiu Zeyu and others talk about a KTV with a minimum spending of 2 million seemed rather normal and didn’t feel out of place.

This led to her only telling Cheng Xueqing about going for karaoke, subconsciously ignoring that they were going to a place beyond ordinary imagination.

It wasn’t until they just got out of the back seat of the Benz that Cheng Xueqing and Li Fei realized the luxury of this place.

The meticulously stationed security every few dozen meters, groups of beautiful cheongsam ladies walking around, the general manager’s personal reception...

But the real shocker for the two was the topic of ”minimum spending” mentioned in the relaxed chatter earlier.

Two million!

If they hadn’t both heard it, and saw the shock in each other’s eyes, they would have thought they heard wrong...

A lavish feast costing tens of thousands, though exaggerated, was still within their understanding, something similar could be found in viral videos, but spending two million for singing?

That’s completely disregarding money!

Even in a place like Beidou, two million would suffice for a house’s down payment, which Cheng Xueqing would have to work hard for seven or eight years, saving every penny to accumulate such wealth.

Just picking up a microphone to howl a few tunes would waste it all...

The most absurd thing is, someone is willing to pay two million to sing, and there really is a place for them to do it!

Cheng Xueqing didn’t know if she or the world was crazy; she even had Li Fei pinch her hard a few times to make sure she wasn’t hallucinating due to alcohol.

Li Fei felt more anxious than ever, if he knew how to bring it up, he’d really want to drag Cheng Xueqing away.

His initial thought was, if the fiancée wanted to tag along for fun, then they should, at worst he’d foot the bill.

After all, both lunch and dinner were hosted by Mr. Zhou, and like Cheng Xueqing said, with meals costing tens of thousands each, insisting on splitting the bill was impractical, but as for singing, he figured he could at least repay the favor a bit.

He knew that some high-end KTVs wouldn’t be cheap, maybe a bottle could cost several thousand, especially considering the consumption of people like Mr. Zhou and his group, but he had some savings, and could bite the bullet and swipe his credit card, wouldn’t be that he couldn’t afford a singing session.

Now, however, he realized how ridiculously wrong he was.

Two million... even his down payment for a house wouldn’t cover it.

Cheng Xueqing suddenly became timid, losing her prior liveliness, just holding onto Ji Xiaoxi’s sleeve, bewildered and following into the private room.

”The entire private room covers over 400 square meters, apart from the karaoke area, there’s an audio-visual zone, a chess area, a lounge, and three dedicated restrooms... The sound system is imported from Bowers & Wilkins, built to concert hall standards, costing over a million British Pounds... We’ve hosted many famous singers here, all of whom have praised it highly...”

Zhou Wang listened while looking around, the decor wasn’t overly extravagant, the furniture wasn’t all new, but everything possessed the unique texture of high-end furniture, the murals on the walls were all of considerable value, measured in ”US Dollars”.
