Almighty Sweet Queen is Really Rich!

Chapter 497: Chapter 497: Not Ready to Meet You Yet

He Jiaren widened her eyes in disbelief as she watched Su Li follow Brother Hao into the set...

He Jiaren and Ling Chenyu exchanged a glance, both looking perplexed.

Could it be... she really knows Mo Si Huang?

The attitude Mo Si Huang had towards Su Li just now, how did it seem like they knew each other? Clearly, they were strangers.

Su Li followed Brother Hao into the set and saw Mo Si Huang sitting on a chair drinking water, surrounded by several assistants talking amongst themselves.

Su Li walked to the side of the seat, and as Mo Si Huang happened to look up, their eyes met suddenly, and the next second, he looked away.

He... seemed to dislike making eye contact with her.

Mo Si Huang dismissed the assistants around him, still with an unyielding coldness on his handsome face, indifferently asking, ”What is it?”

Su Li shivered, feeling very cold.

In that instant, Su Li regretted why she came to find him.

Mo Si Huang, seeing the young girl quite startled by him, handed her the hot tea in his hand, adding, ”I haven’t drunk from it.”

Su Li awkwardly accepted it, suddenly feeling... even chatting with the sharp-tongued Feng Huaijin would be a fortunate thing.

Su Li lowered her head, drinking the hot tea, hesitated for a moment, and mustered the courage to softly ask, ”Senior brother, do you dislike me?”

Clearly, she had done nothing to him, and today was even their first private meeting.

A flicker of surprise flashed in Mo Si Huang’s cold eyes, he mumbled to himself, ”Dislike?”

”Not dislike.”

Su Li looked at those icy eyes, feeling a bit embarrassed. So, was this his nature?

Mo Si Huang lowered his eyes, looking somewhat absentmindedly at his white robe with phoenix patterns, his tone carrying a slight melancholy amidst the indifference: ”It’s just that I’m not mentally prepared to see you yet.”

Su Li was baffled, could it be because Uncle Mo Yu suddenly took her as a disciple and he, the senior disciple, couldn’t accept it?

Mo Si Huang looked into her eyes and asked, ”How’s your eyesight?”

Su Li saw that Mo Si Huang, like the other senior brothers and sisters, cared about her, and she smiled, saying, ”It’s okay, just occasionally there’s a bit of stinging.”

Just a bit of stinging?

Mo Si Huang’s deep and obscure eyes darkened, he gently nodded, looking at Brother Hao, and asked him to escort her out.

Mo Si Huang watched Su Li’s departing figure, lowered his head, and looked at his palm, his eyes showing a complex emotion.

Only three months left, after three months his fate would no longer belong to himself.

Zhao Xiaoyan secretly watched their interaction, glaring at Su Li with disgust.

Earlier, she said to her that she didn’t know Mo Si Huang would participate in an online variety show! The way they chatted just now so intimately, they surely weren’t just ordinary friends, so couldn’t she have mentioned it?

Su Li was simply a pure deceiver.

Zhao Xiaoyan muttered to herself, ”Relying on anyone else isn’t as good as relying on oneself! This time playing An Ruyi’s maid, the screen time should be more, right?”

She had discussed it with Yan Huan, who originally wanted her to be the maid of the second female lead, Liu Weiyang, played by Liu Ying, saying it could help her increase her storyline a bit.

Zhao Xiaoyan decisively refused!

Being the maid of the second female lead, or being the maid of the first female lead, which one would get more screen time? Even a toe could figure that out, right?

Even if she went to be An Ruyi’s maid, becoming a background prop, it was still better than following Liu Weiyang. So she gave Yan Huan a bit more money and became the maid of the first female lead.

Su Li sneezed, feeling that someone was gossiping about her behind her back again.

Su Li was just walking out when she seemed to see Zhou Yitian talking to Mu Shian about something...
