Almighty Sweet Queen is Really Rich!

Chapter 356: Chapter 357: Is this money yours?

However, Su Li had already received the news from Tuanzi that the next few years would be a peak period for novel adaptations.

She plans to buy up those copyrights early before others do, and then make a fortune out of it.

Zhou Yitian looked at her with an indescribable expression, and after a long while he asked, ”So, Boss, which novel have you got your eye on?”

Su Li immediately felt a bit awkward; she only knew from Tuanzi that the upcoming years would see a surge in novel adaptations, but she didn’t know specifically which books.

Ever since she received the ”spend a billion in three days” task last time, every message she sent to Tuanzi failed to go through.

She figured she had to spend out that billion before she could contact Tuanzi again.

Su Li scratched her hair awkwardly and said, ”Well, I haven’t decided on a specific novel yet.”

Zhou Yitian: ”...”

Zhou Yitian’s gaze at Su Li grew increasingly complex; he even began to wonder whether his boss was sleepwalking?

Su Li pondered for a while, her eyes shining like stars, and decisively said, ”Brother Zhou, contact the editorial department of Hengxing Chinese Website for me and tell them I want to buy novel copyrights in bulk. Draft the contract for me, and make sure the money is transferred before midnight tomorrow.”

Hengxing Chinese Website is the largest online novel platform in Hua Country. Unsurprisingly, the hit adaptation novels in the upcoming years will come from this platform.

Zhou Yitian’s eyes were complicated; even with money, you don’t spend it like this, right?

But Su Li is the boss; if she wants to spend her money like this, as an employee, he has no say. He rushed back to the Chen Company—well, now Su Li’s studio’s copyright department—to notify everyone to urgently draft contracts and contact Hengxing Chinese Website.

Chen Xiang was shocked: ”Is Su Li crazy? Spend forty million to package buy novel copyrights?”

Zhou Yitian frowned and reminded sternly, ”She’s our boss, please call her President Su, and don’t let me hear you badmouthing her behind her back again.”

Chen Xiang didn’t care.

After the Chen Company ceased to exist, Mr. Chen took a large sum of money and left the country to retire, while Chen Xiang didn’t go.

He leveraged some connections to quietly stay in the company, becoming an ordinary employee.

The incident at the engagement banquet had offended both Chu Lianxin and the Chu Family, so he couldn’t rely on them anymore.

Not just him, even the entire Chu Family, knowing Su Li’s relationship with Seventh Master Feng, didn’t believe they could last. Could it be that Feng Huaijin was serious about wanting to marry Su Li as the young mistress of the Feng Family in Yanjing?

That’s simply foolish talk.

But this company is indeed Su Li’s enterprise now.

When Su Li gets abandoned by Seventh Master Feng, if he could make Su Li change her mind and be with him in the future, half of these properties would naturally be his.

Chen Xiang said anxiously, ”Su Li has never been involved in cultural copyright business, what does she know? Why not buy a script from a renowned writer?”

Chen Xiang, ignoring Zhou Yitian’s increasingly sour expression, rudely said, ”Su Li is just a little girl who knows nothing; I assure you with my experience that this approach will definitely result in a total loss. Spending forty million on a heap of useless novels is worse than buying the famous screenwriter Xiang Yang’s ’Year after year’.”

The thought of potentially losing forty million made Chen Xiang’s heart ache.

Zhou Yitian suddenly asked, ”Is this money yours?”

Chen Xiang was briefly at a loss for words.

Zhou Yitian continued, ”Since it’s not yours, can you shut up?”
