Necromancer: I Am A Disaster

Emperor Di felt Lin Moyu’s murderous aura and shuddered. Standing beside him felt like standing next to a god of slaughter.

In the Dragonkind World and the Abyss, Lin Moyu had carved a path through numerous cities, leaving innumerable corpses in his wake.

The murderous aura he had accumulated was beyond measure. By sheer volume alone, even Yan Kuangsheng could not compare.

Had the Domain Divine Stone not absorbed that murderous aura, Lin Moyu would have been surrounded by a storm of bloodlust so overwhelming that no one could have approached him.

Lin Moyu briefly recounted the major events that had taken place in the Human World over the past few years.

Emperor Di was stunned. He had never imagined that so much could happen during his absence.

The resurgent Dragonkind had been wiped out.

Humanity had then launched an invasion of the Abyss World and even appeared to hold the advantage.

High-tier God-level powerhouses were emerging among the humans one after another, and the race was flourishing like never before.

Most importantly, a genius such as Lin Moyu had risen—a figure whose strength bordered on the unimaginable.

After a long silence, Emperor Di finally digested everything.

”I never expected to miss so much during my absence.”

Lin Moyu smiled, ”You’ve devoted most of your life to the human race. It’s only right to think about yourself now.”

Emperor Di sighed, ”That’s nothing. Our ancestors dedicated their entire lives to the human race.”

Lin Moyu replied, ”Your choice was a good one. If you succeed, you’ll contribute even more to humanity.”

Everyone walked a different path, and Emperor Di’s decision was perfectly understandable.

After guiding Lin Mohan, he had set out in search of a path forward for himself.

If he could break through to the Transcendent God realm, it would be a tremendous blessing for humanity.

He might even have been capable of reversing the situation single-handedly and eliminating the threats posed by both the Dragonkind and the Abyss Demons.

Emperor Di’s current aura was noticeably stronger than when he first entered the deep layer, proof that he had gained both experience and opportunities.

As long as he survived, he truly had a chance of reaching the Transcendent God realm.

Emperor Di adjusted the Bagua Compass and changed course according to its guidance.

The compass could not determine the destination in a single calculation. Instead, it worked step by step, continuously recalculating and correcting their route as they traveled.

”How has Mohan been?” Emperor Di suddenly asked.

Lin Moyu considered his response before deciding to tell the truth.

”My sister was taken to the greater world by God Sovereign Sword Lily.”

Emperor Di stopped so abruptly that he froze in place.

”God Sovereign Sword Lily?”

Lin Moyu nodded, ”Yes. You know a little about the greater world, don’t you?”

Emperor Di knew some things, but his understanding was limited.

In his understanding, the realm above Transcendent God was True God. Anything beyond that was unknown territory.

”Above Transcendent God is True God, followed by God King and God Sovereign.”

”God Sovereign Sword Lily accepted my sister as a personal disciple and brought her to the greater world.”

The shock hit Emperor Di all over again.

Within a short span of time, he had received more earth-shattering news than he had in the past several decades combined.

His emotions were in turmoil.

What in the world had happened? Why did everything feel so unfamiliar?

Sensing the other party needed time to process everything, Lin Moyu wisely changed the subject.

”Senior, this Bagua Compass of yours is quite unusual. It doesn’t seem to originate from this world.”

Its design differed greatly from the items of the Shenxia Empire.

Lin Moyu suspected it was either a relic from a previous age or an artifact from the greater world.

In his previous life, he had seen objects with a similar appearance.

His remark successfully diverted Emperor Di’s attention. Looking down at the Bagua Compass in his hand, Emperor Di said, ”I found this in a danger zone shortly after reaching God-level and venturing into the deep layer.”

”Back then, I nearly died there. Fortunately, I discovered this compass, and it was thanks to it that I escaped with my life.”

The Bagua Compass’s ability allowed Emperor Di to teleport a thousand meters at a time, clearly proving its connection to space.

Lin Moyu said, ”It truly is a remarkable treasure. Besides teleporting its user, it can also calculate directions.”

Emperor Di nodded, ”Its usefulness goes far beyond that. Teleporting a thousand meters is merely its most basic function. At full power, it can move me more than ten thousand meters.”

”Even forbidden zones and traps cannot restrain it. Thanks to it, I’ve escaped danger time and time again.”

Though Emperor Di spoke lightly of it, Lin Moyu could easily imagine how many opportunities he had gained through the compass.

His ability to survive in the deep level was likely due to this treasure.

Perhaps his willingness to make one final gamble on his future stemmed from the confidence it provided.

Lin Moyu smiled, ”Then you must keep it well.”

Emperor Di said, ”It has another function. I’ve left a spirit imprint at the Chuangshen Institute. If I were to perish in the deep layer, the compass would tear through space and return to the institute on its own.”

”This treasure must remain with the human race. It must not be lost because of me.”

Emperor Di had devoted more than half his life to humanity. Everything he did was for its sake.

Even while pursuing his own advancement, he had prepared for the worst and ensured the compass would remain with the human race.

Faced with such an elder, who could find fault with him?

Respect shining in his eyes, Lin Moyu asked, ”Senior, have you ever considered leaving this world?”

”You mean traveling to the greater world?” Emperor Di chuckled, ”Actually, I’ve already found the route.”

As he spoke, he raised the Bagua Compass.

Lin Moyu immediately understood. With a treasure capable of calculating directions in the deep layer, locating the route to the greater world was entirely plausible.

As for why Emperor Di had not left, there was undoubtedly a reason.

Lin Moyu didn’t press further, knowing Emperor Di would explain himself.

Emperor Di continued with a smile, ”You’re wondering why I never went.”

”I did go and take a look. But it was too dangerous, so I turned back.”

”This is another of its abilities. It can predict fortune.”

The answer surprised Lin Moyu.

The Bagua Compass possessed an astonishing range of abilities: teleportation, navigation, and even the power to foresee fortune.

It was nothing short of miraculous.

A treasure of such caliber was undoubtedly of an extraordinary grade.

Yet that only raised another question—how had such an item ended up in the deep layer in the first place?

”Incidentally, the place where I found the Dragon Bead was near that passage.”

”It was there that I first encountered the Bloodkind.”

The two resumed their journey, constantly adjusting course.

In the deep layer, directions themselves held little meaning.

During his previous expedition, Lin Moyu had formed a considerable mental map, yet he still had not discovered its boundaries.

The deep layer was far larger than he had imagined—perhaps even larger than the Human World itself.

Although it was part of the Immemorial Battlefield, it also seemed strangely independent.

It possessed complete laws and, like the Human World, could withstand Transcendent God realm power.

Lin Moyu couldn’t fully explain its nature. All he knew was that the deep layer was a very special place.

After flying for a while, they had moved far beyond the limits Lin Moyu had previously explored.

The elements here were incredibly dense, and the aura of the laws was clearly perceptible.

Naturally, the dangers had increased as well.

Emperor Di continuously adjusted their course, seemingly at random.

Yet Lin Moyu noticed that their overall direction remained unchanged.

Emperor Di was simply steering around the dangers hidden within the deep layer.

The monsters lurking here had already reached the Transcendent God realm—terrifying creatures born from the deep layer itself.

If Emperor Di encountered one directly, his chances of survival would be slim.

Yet with the guidance of the Bagua Compass, he effortlessly avoided them all.

The Bagua Compass was truly a miraculous treasure.
