A New Life in Fairy Tail

”Is this the exact Nirvit tribe whose history and cultural data you compiled and archived a while back, Noah? I noticed many of their architectural carvings and traditions match the text perfectly,” Lucy whispered, sliding up to Noah’s side.

As an avid reader who deeply appreciated literature, she had thoroughly examined the historical catalog regarding the Nirvit race that Noah had published in collaboration with her family’s firm.

”Mmm, you guessed correctly. It’s them,” Noah nodded.

”Incredible... I never imagined a culture I studied in a text would manifest right before my eyes like this,” Lucy remarked, a wave of genuine emotion tracing her words.

”Once this deployment concludes, you can leverage future guild requests to travel across different sectors. You’ll witness far more unique historical remnants and expand your understanding of the world’s hidden histories,” Noah encouraged her with a smile.

”Where do you want to travel next, Lucy? Name the sector, and the team will deploy right along with you!” Natsu piped up from the adjacent seat, cutting into their conversation.

”Aye!” Happy cheered at the top of his lungs.

”Thank you, you guys,” Lucy smiled warmly, deeply appreciative of their earnest camaraderie.

Natsu offered a toothy grin before dropping his chin right back down to resume aggressively emptying his plate of roasted meat.

Just then, the lively tribal music shifted pace. Holding hands in a massive, interconnected circle, the vibrant members of the Cait Shelter tribe began dancing dynamically around the central roaring bonfires, singing traditional melodies.

The entire Fairy Tail detachment received an enthusiastic invitation to join the floor. Natsu was the absolute first to surge forward, diving right into the thick of the steps, while the rest of the group stepped up with bright, matching smiles to lose themselves in the rhythm.

The spirited dancing carried on late into the night. Eventually, the gathering gradually dispersed into smaller clusters, with members collapsing onto logs to rest, chat, and help themselves to the leftover delicacies.

”I relayed the tactical parameters of this sector to my mother earlier. She will be arriving tomorrow morning to secure a junction with our strike team,” Ultear said, walking over to sit beside Noah.

”Aunt Ur is deploying as well? That stands to reason. Brain represents an absolute mastermind behind her most agonizing historical trauma; there is zero probability of her staying on the sidelines once his name surfaces,” Noah replied, completely unfazed by the development.

Over the past few years, it wasn’t just Noah, Ultear, and Sorano who had systematically monitored the underworld for any lead on Brain; Ur had relentlessly pursued his tracks as well. The rogue director had torn her daughter away from her, subjecting them both to decades of phantom pain; she had zero intention of letting him escape justice. But Brain was an exceptionally cautious criminal who hid his tracks beneath layers of underworld proxies, denying her a clean window for retribution.

Now that a direct operation against his primary network had materialized, her rapid deployment to verify the parameters was a mathematical certainty.

”Excellent. We’ll secure our junction with Aunt Ur tomorrow morning before marching to the mandatory staging area.”

”Mmm.”

Having finalized the logistics, Ultear offered a soft nod before returning to the seating arrangement to resume chatting with Sorano and the girls.

Noah smoothly navigated over to Roubaul’s side, settling onto a log to spend the remaining hours of the festival engaged in a comfortable, quiet conversation with the elderly chief.

When the designated hour for rest arrived, the hospitable tribal members led the Mages to the village guest quarters. Understanding the sheer weight of the impending battle against Oración Seis, no one attempted to extend the revelry. Everyone quietly retired to their respective rooms to optimize their sleep parameters and enter the field with peak mental clarity.

Noah, however, bypassed the guest quarters entirely. Returning to Roubaul’s private residence, he quietly settled into a chair across from the old man to resume their conversation.

Noah possessed an endless archive of topics he wanted to share with his mentor—ranging from his personal progression metrics and complex magical theories to minor everyday experiences inside Fairy Tail. Roubaul sat perfectly still, a warm, paternal smile gracing his weathered features as he absorbed the young Mage’s words, occasionally offering deep, philosophical insights to anchor his thoughts.

A soft, golden radiance suddenly breached the window frame as the sun dynamically leapt over the distant horizon, painting the room in a gentle morning light. Noah blinked in brief surprise, only just realizing that their quiet dialogue had seamlessly carried them through an entire all-nighter.

”Alright, child. The hour has come for you to execute your designated directives,” Roubaul said softly, looking at Noah.

”Mmm. I’ll stabilize a Thought Projection inside the village perimeter before I deploy,” Noah nodded. With a subtle flick of his magical channels, a perfect, physical Thought Projection stepped out from his silhouette.

”Your structural command over Thought Projections has officially eclipsed my own baseline parameters, Noah,” Roubaul noted, a wave of genuine, profound pride tracing his voice.

”Not at all. I still have an extensive archive of magical methodologies to study beneath your tutelage,” Noah shook his head, his posture perfectly respectful.

Roubaul let out a soft chuckle. The quality he cherished most in Noah was this unyielding, organic humility. He possessed tier-breaking, monstrous power, yet he harbored zero arrogance, choosing instead to approach the arcane mysteries with the disciplined focus of a scholar. A Mage of this caliber was engineered to continuously break past known limitations and achieve true perfection.

”Go on then, don’t keep your comrades waiting,” Roubaul waved his hand gently. Noah deep-bowed to his mentor before stepping out of the residence.

By the time Noah cleared the threshold, Ultear and the rest of the detachment were already filtering into the village square to take their breakfast. Right on cue, Ur materialized at the perimeter, stepping smoothly into the village to secure her junction with the team.

Once the group finished their morning meal, Mirajane remained behind within the Cait Shelter perimeter to monitor Wendy and the younger girls. The remaining eight members of the primary strike team offered their warm farewells to the grateful villagers and officially marched out of the settlement.

The moment they cleared the village gates, Noah stepped into Ur’s path, halting her advance. ”Aunt Ur, please accompany me for a quick tactical deviation. We have a few background parameters to finalize before we join the main line.”

Turning his head back toward Ultear and the rest of the team, Noah instructed, ”The rest of you proceed directly to the official Council staging ground to secure our position. Once Aunt Ur and I wrap up our assignment, we will rejoin your line to initiate the deployment against Oración Seis.”

”Perfect timing! With Noah and Ur stepping away, this is our exclusive window to march ahead and flatten Oración Seis before they can even claim a piece of the action!” Natsu roared, his eyes lighting up with explosive excitement.

”What exactly are you two planning to execute?” Ultear asked, a hint of suspicion entering her voice as she looked at Noah.

”I cannot disclose the parameters just yet, but the configuration will demand a considerable amount of processing time—likely taking up the better part of the morning. Proceed to the staging villa ahead of schedule, and we will track your position once we’re done,” Noah said, waving his hand dismissively.

”Very well. Ensure you manage your parameters efficiently,” Erza nodded firmly. Trusting Noah’s strategic intellect implicitly, she mobilized the remaining members and led them down the primary forest trail.

”So, what exactly is this critical task that required you to separate me from the main line?” Ur asked, turning her sharp gaze toward Noah the moment the team’s silhouettes vanished into the tree line.

”There is no task,” Noah replied calmly, shaking his head.

”Huh? But you just told the team we had an assignment that would consume several hours of processing time,” Ur muttered, thoroughly bewildered.

”That was simply a calculated deception to manage their expectations.”

Ur narrowed her eyes, waiting for his tactical explanation.

”The logic is simple, Aunt Ur. Given my public combat record and established tier-breaking metrics, the underworld networks are highly likely to alter their deployment or completely slip into hiding if they detect my raw signature on the field. Furthermore, you have been actively operating as a high-tier Mage over the past few years, meaning Brain’s intelligence proxies will have recorded that your magical precision has only grown sharper since your recovery.”

”The enemy understands that facing a fully restored Wizard Saint-level threat like you alongside my capacity would result in immediate structural annihilation. If both of our signatures are detected simultaneously on the approach, Brain will abort his primary vector and abandon the sector. To guarantee he commits his forces to the field, we will systematically suppress our presence, allowing his network to believe the legal Coalition Force lacks top-tier anchor assets.”

Ur nodded slowly, a look of profound approval gracing her features as she parsed his tactical layout. ”An excellent concealment strategy.”

”Let me deploy a few specialized stealth matrices to mask our vector first.”

Noah’s hands blurred through a rapid succession of intricate casting gestures as layers of highly sophisticated cloaking fields enveloped their bodies. These custom-engineered stealth arrays didn’t merely suppress their physical forms, visual properties, and vocal acoustics; they established an absolute conceptual barrier that isolated their internal magic reserves entirely. Their localized magical output was completely barred from bleeding into the ambient environment, while external sensory spells were thoroughly blocked from tracking their coordinates.

With the installation finalized, their physical forms vanished completely from the mortal plane. Fortunately, Noah had appended a specialized visual filter onto both of their optical structures, allowing them to see each other’s cloaked forms with perfect clarity.

”Let’s maintain a measured tracking distance behind Ultear’s group,” Noah murmured. Ur nodded, and the two tier-breaking Mages silently trailed the main detachment, moving through the shadows of the ancient forest like phantoms.

It took very little time for Ultear’s group to clear the primary dense foliage, breaking into a clearing where a massive, heavily customized private estate materialized before them.

”This confirms our target coordinates. This is the staging villa,” Erza noted, verifying the architectural metrics against her Council briefing. She stepped forward and pushed the heavy double doors open, leading the detachment inside.

The interior lacked active illumination, relying entirely on the sparse beams of morning sunlight cutting through the heavy drapes to illuminate the structural layout. Flanking the main grand foyer were two colossal, detailed sculptures of galloping stallions. The surrounding aesthetic framework was aggressively anchored by heart-shaped motifs and a vivid, dominant palette of pastel pink. A plush crimson carpet rolled out from the threshold, stretching across the expanse of the floor before climbing the grand marble staircase leading to the second-level balconies.

”Wow... what a spectacular lack of architectural refinement,” Lucy remarked, her natural sensibilities as a high-society heiress recoiling slightly at the estate’s aggressive interior design.

”This estate belongs to Master Bob of Blue Pegasus,” Ultear informed the group, her tone perfectly flat.

”Master Bob, huh...? He is an... exceptionally troublesome individual to navigate,” Gray muttered, a look of acute, sweating discomfort crossing his face.

Every single member of the Fairy Tail detachment had experienced an encounter with the Blue Pegasus Master in the past. Recalling his highly flamboyant personality and unique personal boundaries, the Mages shared a series of awkward glances, completely at a loss for words.

”Mmm, let us maintain proper decorum. While his personal presentation is certainly... unique, he remains a historically formidable powerhouse whose raw combat capacity commands immense respect,” Erza lectured with a helpless sigh, attempting to stabilize the group’s attitude.

”If you say so,” Lucy sweatdropped, her brain utterly failing to compute how a man matching that description could simultaneously stand as a tier-breaking magical asset.

Master Bob, is it? His combat precision is indeed monstrous, but his aesthetic choices... are historically difficult to catalog, Ur’s amused voice echoed directly inside Noah’s mind. Noah had established a secure, multi-way Telepathy link between them, allowing them to communicate silently within their cloaked parameters.

Haha... Noah offered a mental sweatdrop. Master Bob’s distinctive energy was undeniably a challenge to anyone’s sensory thresholds.

”Has the rest of the Coalition Force failed to clear the transit lines yet?” Sorano asked, sweeping her gaze across the empty foyer.

”No. A foreign scent profile has already saturated the interior,” Natsu noted, his sharp Dragon Slayer senses instantly picking up an anomaly.

”Mages of Fairy Tail! We have eagerly awaited your arrival across the shifting currents of time!”

Amidst a sudden, synchronized snapping of fingers, a focused spotlight erupted from the ceiling, illuminating the absolute center of the grand foyer. Three striking figures stood locked in highly dramatic, stylized poses beneath the beam.

”We are the elite vanguard selected by Blue Pegasus—the Tri-Men!”

”The radiant white night, Hibiki,” a handsome young man with rich, golden-brown hair murmured, offering a brilliant smile.

”The holy eve of winter, Eve,” a refined, blonde youth added, striking a graceful pose.

”The consuming twilight sky, Ren,” a dark-haired Mage with a striking, sun-kissed complexion finalized, crossing his arms.

”The Blue Pegasus Tri-Men?! Wow... they’re incredibly handsome!” Lucy’s cheeks instantly flushed a soft pink. ”And that leader—Hibiki—isn’t he Hibiki Lates? The one who has consistently anchored the top slots of the ’Mage I Want as My Boyfriend’ rankings in Weekly Sorcerer Magazine for the past year?!”

Hearing her recognition, Hibiki flashed a devastatingly charming smile, offering a smooth, calculated wink directly in her direction.

”Oh, sweet mercy! I forgot to check my equipment parameters again!”

Lucy instinctively turned her head back to look at the male members of her own guild, only to catch a bare-chested Gray standing in his boxers, frantically spinning in circles as he tried to figure out where his clothes had vanished to this time.

Standing beside him, Ultear had already slapped a hand over her eyes, thoroughly refusing to acknowledge his existence. Natsu’s condition was perfectly stable, though he was staring at the posing Blue Pegasus Mages with a look of profound, open bewilderment.

”Well... at least his choices are consistent,” Lucy let out a helpless sigh.

”Your natural radiance matches the legendary descriptions perfectly.”

”A supreme honor to make your acquaintance, Titania, Angel, and the Ice Princess.”

”Please, allow us to guide you to your designated accommodations.”

Moving with practiced, ultra-smooth coordination, the three Blue Pegasus Mages immediately converged on Ultear, Erza, and Sorano, launching into an incredibly attentive hospitality routine.

With seamless speed, they manifested a luxurious plush sofa out of nowhere, guiding the girls to sit before depositing a low mahogany table before them, stacked with an ice bucket holding chilled, expensive bottles.

”Allow me to offer a fresh warm towel.”

”Has the journey depleted your physical energy parameters?”

”We have freshly baked artisanal biscuits prepared, would you care to sample a piece?”

”No, thank you,” Ultear declined with a polite yet thoroughly unamused smile. Erza and Sorano simply shook their heads in unison, completely matching her defensive boundaries.

”What in the world is this aggressive hosting strategy?!” Lucy sweatdropped, completely stunned by the Tri-Men’s hyper-attentive approach.
