War Sovereign Soaring The Heavens

“I, Tang Xuan, the Sect Leader of Fire Worship Sect, hereby announce that Duan Ling Tian is expelled from Fire Worship Sect from today onwards for tarnishing the Saint Girl’s purity!”

Tang Xuan’s voice that contained Saint Origin echoed through the entire Fire Worship Sect.

Naturally, it caused another uproar again.

“I-is that Lord Sect Leader’s voice?”

“Lord Sect Leader said that Guardian Ling Tian tarnished the Saint Girl’s purity? What’s that about?”

Many people in the Fire Worship Sect were stunned. When they regained their sense, they continued to discuss it among themselves.

“The Saint Girl our Lord Sect Leader mentioned is the Saint Girl that disappeared a few years ago, right?”

“Of course. Apart from her, is there another Saint Girl? She’s the one that gave birth to a daughter!”

“Didn’t they say the man who tarnished the Saint Girl’s purity is from the Lower Province of the Dao Martial Saint Land?”

“Have you forgotten that Guardian Ling Tian is also from the Lower Province? He’s the Young Mansion Master of Azure Cloud Mansion, one of the strongest forces in the Lower Province!”

“Yes… It’s no secret that Guardian Ling Tian came from the Lower Province.”

Many elders and disciples from the Fire Worship Sect were shocked by this. Although they knew the Saint Girl’s purity had been tarnished before she returned to the sect, they did not expect the culprit to be Duan Ling Tian.

“That means the Saint Girl’s daughter is also Guardian Ling Tian’s daughter, right?”

“Who knew Guardian Ling Tian would turn out to be that man!”

“Guardian Ling Tian’s departure from the sect is likely due to this. He knew Lord Sect Leader would expel him from the sect so he announced his departure first.”

“That’s possible! After all, there’s a difference between voluntarily leaving and being expelled!”

“Yes. If it was known that he was expelled, his reputation would definitely take a hit.”

Most of them concluded the reason for Duan Ling Tian’s departure was due to the Saint Girl.

“Lord Sect Leader truly expelled Guardian Ling Tian because of that? It seems a bit excessive, right?”

“As far as I know, Guardians usually enjoy preferential treatment and have some immunity to the rules in the Fire Worship Sect. Why is it different this time?”

“Our Fire Worship Sect’s Saint Girl went missing at a really young age. It’s no one’s fault that they fell in love. Since they have fate, why not give them our blessing? Who knows, their love story might be a story we can tell the future generation.”

“In comparison to losing a powerhouse like Guardian Ling Tian, that mistake is truly negligible!”

Almost 90% of the people in the Fire Worship Sect disagreed with their sect leader’s decision to expel Guardian Ling Tian for such a trivial reason. In fact, most of them gave their blessing to the relationship.

“I think we should plead on Guardian Ling Tian’s behalf!”

“I agree. He’s too important for the Fire Worship Sect to lose!”

“Losing Guardian Ling Tian would be like cutting off one of the Fire Worship Sect’s arms. Why don’t we give our blessing to Guardian Ling Tian and the Saint Gir’s marriage so he can stay in the sect?”

“Let’s go! Let’s go plead for his case!”

In the Fire Worship Sect’s Saint Land, a group of elders and disciples from the Fire Worship Sect began to fly up into the air to the Saint Islands. Apart from the Sanctum Leader of the Azure Dragon Sanctum, the other three Sanctum Leaders and the elders had also entered the Saint Land. There were many ordinary disciples from the Four Symbols Sanctums who wished they could go along to plead on Duan Ling Tian’s behalf.

…

Above the Fire Worship Sect’s Saint Land.

A group of Golden, Silver, and Bronze Flame Elders and Saint Land disciples who was led by the two Vice Sect Leaders of Fire Worship Sect finally arrived at where the confrontation was taking place. It did not take long before the entire place was crowded.

Leng Yin could not help but frown when he saw the crowd that had formed around them. He asked in an interrogative tone, “What are all of you doing here?”

However, no one answered Leng Yin. All their attention was focused on Tang Xuan, the Sect Leader of Fire Worship Sect. Eventually, the two Vice Sect Leaders of Fire Worship Sect spoke up first to convince their sect leader to rescind his words. As soon as the two vice sect leaders spoke up, the group they led followed suit as well.

“Please reconsider your decision, Lord Sect Leader!”

“Please reconsider your decision, Lord Sect Leader!”

“Please reconsider your decision, Lord Sect Leader!”

Those who had just arrived began to plead for Duan Ling Tian as well as soon as they arrived. None of them wanted Tang Xuan to expel Duan Ling Tian from the Fire Worship Sect!

“Do you know what you’re doing?!” Tang Xuan looked at the elders and disciples around him with a grim expression on his face. He did not expect so many elders and disciples would come to plead on Duan Ling Tian’s behalf after he had expelled him.

“Lord Sect Leader!” At this point, one of the vice sect leaders spoke up, “Although Guardian Ling Tian has made a mistake and broke the rules of Fire Worship Sect, I think he should be forgiven. After all, he had fought for our sect and defeated those people from the Black Kshetra Sect. This merit is enough to make up for his transgression!”

“I agree, Lord Sect Leader,” the other Vice Sect Leader of the Fire Worship Sect nodded and said, “With Guardian Ling Tian’s strength, having him in the Fire Worship Sect is like giving a pair of wings to a tiger. It’s not worth it for us to let go of such a powerhouse over such a small mistake.”

“Guardian Ling Tian and the Saint Girl’s love is a beautiful love story, Lord Sect Leader. Please give Guardian Ling Tian and the Saint Girl your blessing!” A Golden Flame Elder said loudly.

Many people echoed the Golden Flame Elder’s words as soon as he finished speaking. If the four Guardians had just arrived, they would have followed suit and pleaded on Duan Ling Tian’s behalf as well. However, since they were there from the beginning, they could tell Duan Ling Tian’s departure had nothing to do with the Saint Girl.

“Please give Guardian Ling Tian and the Saint Girl your blessing, Lord Sect Leader!”

“Please give Guardian Ling Tian and the Saint Girl your blessing, Lord Sect Leader!”

“These people…” Duan Ling Tian who was standing across Tang Xuan did not expect a group of elders and disciples would come and plead on his behalf. He did not know whether he should laugh or cry. His departure had nothing to do with Ke’er. However, he felt moved even though he knew they only came to plead for his case because it would be beneficial to the Fire Worship Sect. After all, they thought his strength was only second to Tang Xuan. They were, naturally, unaware that Duan Ling Tian’s strength had long surpassed Tang Xuan’s strength.

“Everyone!” Duan Ling Tian felt that he could not ignore them since they had all come for him. “The reason for my departure from the Fire Worship Sect has nothing to do with my wife, Ke’Er, the former Saint Girl of the Fire Worship Sect…”

“Hm?”

“What? Guardian Ling Tian’s departure has nothing to do with the Saint Girl?”

“What’s happening?”

“Then, why is he leaving if it’s not because of the Saint Girl?”

Those who came to plead for Duan Ling Tian were confused when they heard his word. All of them turned to look at him instantly.

One of the vice sect leaders asked, “Guardian Ling Tian, why are you leaving if it’s not because of the Saint Girl? Are you unhappy being in the sect?”

“That’s right. There must be a reason for your departure, right?” The other vice sect leader chimed in.

“Of course I have my reason…” Duan Ling Tian nodded. Under everyone’s watchful gaze, he continued to say, “The reason is my identity makes it impossible for me to stay in the Fire Worship Sect!”

“Identity? What identity?”

The crowd was, naturally, confused when they heard Duan Ling Tian’s words. All of them looked at Duan Ling Tian for an explanation. Even Tang Xuan and the four Guardians were curious.

Under everyone’s watchful eyes, Duan Ling Tian said loudly, “I, Duan Ling Tian, am the current successor of the Fog Rain Progeny from the Seven Absolutes Sect!”
