She Used Me for a Dare… Now I Own Her Mother

Chapter 467: Convocation Day(2)

Alex’s sharp eyes remained fixed on Tyler and Robert. The two were clearly enjoying themselves, subtly putting on a show for their parents while digging at the group with every fake smile and backhanded compliment.

Their fathers stood beside them with clear, condescending smirks, openly amused by their sons’ performance.

But when Alex shifted his gaze to their mothers, something far more interesting caught his attention.

Both women were stunning... elegant, well-maintained, and dressed in designer outfits that accentuated their figures. They wore polite smiles, but their eyes told a different story.

There was unmistakable lust burning in their gazes as they looked at him, lingering a second too long on his broad shoulders and calm, commanding presence.

A dangerous smirk tugged at the corner of Alex’s lips.

’Time to teach these bastards a small lesson.’

He stepped forward smoothly, his expression shifting into one of perfect, disarming charm as he extended his hand toward the fathers first.

”Hello, Uncle,” Alex said warmly to Tyler’s father, gripping his hand with firm confidence. ”I’m Alex. A friend and classmate of your son. It’s a pleasure to finally meet you on such a special day.”

Tyler’s father blinked, caught slightly off guard by the polite boldness, but shook his hand. Alex moved to Robert’s father next, repeating the gesture with the same easy charisma.

”Uncle, congratulations to both of you as well. Raising such... accomplished sons must be a point of pride.”

The fathers nodded, their smirks faltering just a fraction at how effortlessly Alex had taken control of the conversation.

Then Alex turned to the two beautiful ladies, his smile deepening into something subtly magnetic. He took Tyler’s mother’s hand first, holding it gently but with clear intent, his thumb brushing lightly across her knuckles.

”And these must be your mothers,” he said, voice low and smooth. ”I’m a friend as well as a classmate of your sons... but they never once told me they had mothers this beautiful. It’s almost unfair — how can someone compete with such elegance on a day like today?”

He turned to Robert’s mother next, taking her hand with the same deliberate care, his gaze locking with hers for a heartbeat longer than necessary. ”Truly stunning. Both of you. Blackwood should be honoring mothers like you as much as the graduates.”

The two women flushed visibly. Tyler’s mother let out a soft, flustered laugh, her fingers refusing to release his hand immediately.

”Oh, you’re too kind... We’re old enough to be your —”

”We really shouldn’t be flattered by such sweet lies,” Robert’s mother finished, though her cheeks were pink and her eyes sparkled with clear delight. She squeezed his hand gently before finally letting go, biting her lower lip.

Both women were clearly flustered and happy, stealing quick glances at Alex even as they tried to maintain composure.

Tyler and Robert, who had been smirking just moments ago, now wore deep frowns. Their faces twisted with open anger and disbelief as they watched their mothers react to Alex like lovestruck schoolgirls.

Alex’s smirk deepened. He stepped closer to the two young men, leaning in as if sharing a friendly secret. His voice dropped to a cold whisper that only they could hear.

”You should keep a close eye on them today,” he murmured, eyes gleaming with dark amusement. ”Who knows what might happen when pretty mothers meet someone... interesting.”

Tyler’s face turned red with fury. Robert looked like he wanted to swing at him right there.

Alex pulled back smoothly, his expression once again polite and composed as he addressed the entire group.

”It was wonderful meeting all of you. Enjoy the ceremony,” he said with a final charming nod. ”We’ll see each other around, I’m sure.”

Without waiting for a reply, he turned and guided his friends and family forward toward the Grand Convocation Hall, leaving Tyler and Robert seething behind him and their mothers still blushing and whispering to each other.

***

Robert and Tyler stood frozen in place, their eyes locked intensely on the retreating backs of Alex and his group as they disappeared into the crowd heading toward the Grand Convocation Hall. The visible anger on their faces was raw... jaws clenched, fists tightened at their sides, and cheeks flushed with humiliation.

That scholarship bastard had just publicly embarrassed them in front of their own parents.

Before either could spit out a curse, a deep, genuine laugh broke the tense silence.

They whipped their heads around to see both their fathers chuckling, exchanging amused glances.

”Not bad,” Tyler’s father said, still smiling as he adjusted his expensive cufflinks. ”That Alex fellow is quite interesting. Bold. Charismatic. He took control of the conversation and turned the tables on you two without even raising his voice. Not many can do that so smoothly.”

Robert’s father nodded in agreement, a hint of respect in his tone. ”Indeed. Most scholarship kids cower or get defensive. This one? He played the game like he was born into it. You boys could learn a thing or two from that kind of composure.”

The praise hit like salt in an open wound.

Robert’s blood boiled hotter. ’Learn from him? Are you fucking kidding me?’ He couldn’t believe his own father had missed — or worse, ignored — how that bastard had blatantly flirted with their mothers right in front of them.

Tyler’s mother placed a gentle, manicured hand on her son’s shoulder, squeezing lightly. Her voice was soft, almost soothing, though her cheeks still carried a faint flush from earlier.

”He was really quite interesting, darling,” she said with a small smile. ”Don’t worry too much about it. It was just harmless banter between young men. Nothing more.”

Robert’s mother did the same, resting her hand on his arm. ”Exactly. Boys will be boys. No need to let it ruin such a wonderful day. He seemed like a very... charming young man.”

The two women exchanged a quick, knowing glance, their eyes still carrying traces of that lingering spark.

Tyler and Robert’s anger only deepened. Their mothers’ words — meant to calm them — felt like another betrayal. The way they had blushed and held Alex’s hand longer than necessary... it was seared into their minds.

”Charming?” Tyler muttered under his breath, barely containing his fury. ”That low-class piece of shit was—”

His father shot him a sharp look. ”Enough. This is a celebration. Act like it.”

The group began moving toward the hall, but the seed of resentment had been firmly planted. Tyler and Robert walked in silence, their minds racing with dark thoughts.

Alex had crossed a line today.

And they would make sure he paid for it.

***

Alex and the group continued walking toward the Grand Convocation Hall, their footsteps echoing softly along the flower-lined path. The opulent surroundings and excited chatter of other graduates faded into the background as Mike leaned closer, whispering under his breath.

”Dude... that was savage.”

Danny, walking on Alex’s other side, let out a quiet, impressed laugh and whispered as well, ”You really were bold there. I mean, I didn’t expect you to go that far right in front of our parents...”

Alex didn’t reply to Mike’s or Danny’s whispered comments. He simply kept walking forward with calm, measured steps, his expression unreadable.

From the corner of his eyes, he noticed David and Linda watching the entire exchange. Their lips were curved in clear, satisfied smirks, the kind that said they had just witnessed a quiet victory in a long-running silent war. Mike’s parents and Sarah’s mother wore similar expressions, a subtle gleam of approval in their eyes.

They had seen enough of Blackwood’s elitist games over the years to understand exactly what had just happened.

David caught Alex looking and let out a low, genuine laugh, clapping a heavy but affectionate hand on his shoulder.

”You don’t have to be flustered like this, son,” David said warmly, his voice carrying just enough volume for the group to hear. ”You did the right thing. Those boys — and their parents — deserved that and more. Walking around like they own the world... someone needed to remind them not everyone is impressed by their little performances.”

Linda nodded with a graceful smile, her eyes sparkling with pride as she looked at Alex.

”Exactly. Well handled, Alex. Elegant, but firm. That’s how you deal with people like them.”

Mike’s father chuckled deeply, crossing his arms. ”I’ve known families like theirs for years. All bark and inherited money. You shut them down without even raising your voice. Impressive.”

Sarah’s mother gave Alex an approving nod, still smiling. ”You’ve grown into such a fine young man. Don’t let anyone make you feel small on a day like today.”

Alex allowed a small, genuine smile to touch his lips as he glanced at the group. On the surface, he accepted their praise with a humble nod. Inside, the cold fire of his resolve only burned hotter.

’They have no idea how small those people are about to feel.’

The warm support from Danny’s family and the others felt strangely comforting... a rare anchor in the elite world that had once tried to crush him. But it didn’t change his plans.

Today was still about closure. About making Marcus and Sophia pay. About using Sophia’s own desperation as the weapon that would destroy everything they had built.

The group continued toward the Grand Convocation Hall, the laughter and light conversation resuming around him. Alex walked in their midst, outwardly part of the celebration, but his mind was already several steps ahead.

The real performance was about to begin.
