She Used Me for a Dare… Now I Own Her Mother

Chapter 139: Between Fear and Fire

The silence after impact was its own kind of heat... breath on breath, heartbeat on heartbeat, the room still ringing with what they’d done.

For a suspended second, Lila didn’t think at all. Her mind was a bright, white blank where sensation lived, fluttering in the hollow of her throat and the heavy throb between her legs.

Then feeling returned in ordered waves: the shape of his chest under her palms, the dull sting where his teeth had pressed, the slow unclenching of muscles that had held him like a secret.

Not long ago, this same body had carried the weight of his refusal like stone.

The look on his face when he’d pulled away had lived inside her... sour, stubborn, the kind of memory that sits behind the ribs and drags.

She’d gone gray at the edges after that. Sadness first, then that brittle flatness that pretends it doesn’t care.

She’d already lost him, and with him, the last chance to complete her mission.

The thought of facing Sophia filled her with dread... not just failure, but the precision of Sophia’s cruelty.

Cameras everywhere. Reports filed. Punishment hidden in a smile. It was a death without blood, and she’d been walking toward it with open eyes.

And then... he’d walked in.Shock had wiped her clean.

His hands, his voice, the way he looked at her... direct, unsparing... had stripped her of every script she’d practiced.

There’d been no clever line to reach for, no tactic that made sense; only the sudden, sharp knowing that he’d come for her. Her mind had split open under the force of it, and everything inside had flown.

Now the thoughts came back all at once, dizzying her.

She’d gotten what she craved... not the game, not the victory, but him. His weight, his pace, the command that tied her breath to his.

Happiness so sharp it almost hurt. She felt bright from the inside out, like a match still burning after it’s been blown out. Relief came second... deep, cool, absolute.

She hadn’t failed. She wouldn’t face Sophia’s quiet, lethal smile. No apology. No punishment waiting in the dark.

Not tonight. Not for this.

But a small, inconvenient thought tugged at her... then refused to let go. What came next, the part of the plan that followed this, would ruin everything between them.

The thought made her stomach drop.

She didn’t want to lose him. She wanted him to keep doing what he’d done tonight... to own her, take her, claim her until there was nothing left untouched inside her.

For one wild second, panic clawed at her throat. Sophia had probably already seen everything. There would be no hiding this.

Then she forced herself to breathe. Later. Deal with it later.

She turned her head, breath still uneven, and looked at him... shoulders loose, face unreadable in the afterheat.

Maybe he was realizing what he’d done. Maybe morning would make a liar of these minutes.

The doubt didn’t dim her glow, but it framed it... fragile at the edges.

She set the want down carefully, like a glass on a nightstand. This moment was alive, and she didn’t want to chase it away with plans.

She let her head tip to his shoulder and listened for the place where his breath met hers.

She smiled without meaning to... soft, helpless... because the fear was quiet, the relief was loud, and the joy was louder still.

For now, there was the simplest truth she’d ever owned: he had come back; he had chosen; and her body, finally, understood what it meant to be kept.

Above her, Alex’s breathing had already steadied. His pulse no longer raced; his hands, which had gripped her so fiercely moments ago, now rested with calculated stillness.

He studied how her chest rose and fell in uneven rhythm, skin flushed and damp with sweat.

The marks he’d left stood out stark against her pale skin: fingerprints on her hips, the faint red bloom on her throat where his hand had gripped, the love bite darkening on her shoulder.

She looked wrecked. Trembling. Exhausted.

And yet her eyes... those wide, bright eyes... burned with hunger that hadn’t been sated.

She wanted more. Craved it. He could see it in the way her gaze kept dropping to his body, the way her tongue darted out to wet her lips, the way her breath hitched in anticipation.

Insatiable, he thought, a dark satisfaction curling through him. Perfect.

But something about the way she looked at him now... eager, worshipful, glowing with relief... sat too perfectly in place. Like she’d rehearsed the aftermath as carefully as the seduction.

Too good at this. Too precise. Either she’d been trained for it, or she was desperate enough to fake it flawlessly.

Either way—useful.

”You look tired already,” he said, voice low and measured. He reached out, tilting her chin up so she had no choice but to meet his eyes.

”But we’re just getting started.”Lila’s pupils dilated, a soft whimper escaping her throat. Her gaze flickered down to his body again... hungry, expectant... and he caught the shift.

Still performing, he thought. Let’s see how far she’ll go.

He released her chin and stepped back, giving her space.

She moved without being told. Her legs folded beneath her as she slid down the wall, palms pressing against the surface for balance until her knees hit the floor.

The tile was cold and hard, but she didn’t care.

She shifted forward slightly, settling on her heels, hands hovering near her thighs as she looked up at him through her lashes.

Waiting.

”Go ahead,” he said, stepping closer. His voice dropped to a command.

”Clean it up for me.” her focus immediately locked onto him... his length, still slick from their coupling, evidence of what they’d just done coating his skin.

A small, breathless sound escaped her... hungry, desperate.

Her hands rose, trembling slightly, hovering near his thighs. She glanced up, held his gaze.

He nodded once.Tension melted from her shoulders.

”Show me,” Alex said quietly, his hand sliding into her hair, fingers threading through the damp strands. ”Show me how good you can be.”

Lila leaned forward, her breath warm against his skin. Her tongue darted out, tentative at first, tracing a slow path along his length.

The taste was heady... salt and musk and something uniquely them... and it made her head spin with need.

Alex’s grip tightened in her hair, guiding her, controlling the pace.

”That’s it,” he murmured, watching her with dark, intent eyes. ”Every inch. Don’t rush.”

She obeyed, taking her time, savoring the feel of him, the way his muscles tensed beneath her touch.

Her hands gripped his thighs for balance, nails digging in slightly as she worked, losing herself in the act of submission.

”Mmm... God...” she whimpered between strokes, the sounds muffled but constant... little gasps and sighs that punctuated every movement.

Emboldened, she licked a slow stripe from root to tip, tongue following the vein underneath.

”Aah...” A sharper moan escaped as she took the head into her mouth, lips stretching wide. She sucked gently, tongue circling the ridge, and moaned again... louder this time, needier... the vibration sending sparks through him.

Her jaw stretched as she took him deeper, inch by careful inch, saliva slicking the way.

And as Alex watched her... watched the way she surrendered so completely, the way she worshipped him with such desperate devotion... he felt that cold, calculating part of him settle into place.

She’s mine now, he thought. And she’ll learn exactly what that means.

She hollowed her cheeks, bobbing her head with increasing rhythm.

One hand wrapped around the base, stroking what she couldn’t yet take. The other cupped his balls, rolling them lightly, feeling them draw up tight.

”Mmm... mmm...” Lila moaned around him, the vibration humming through his length. His hips jerked forward involuntarily.

”Fuck, Lila... your mouth,” Alex rasped, his free hand bracing against the wall for support. He didn’t thrust yet, letting her set the pace, but the tension in his thighs betrayed how close he was to taking control.

Her eyes flicked up to meet his... watery from the effort, burning with determination. She wanted this. To worship him. To erase any doubt with the heat of her submission.

Pushing herself, she relaxed her throat and took him deeper. She gagged slightly as the tip hit the back of her mouth, breath stuttering through her nose.

She suppressed the reflex, held him there... nose brushing his pubic hair, tears pricking her eyes.

The fullness, the raw intimacy of it, sent fresh heat pooling between her legs.

A muffled whimper escaped, desperate and reverent.

She pulled back slowly, strings of saliva connecting her lips to his cock, then dove down again... faster this time. Her head moved in steady, eager rhythm, wet sounds filling the quiet room.

”Aah... mmph... mmm...” Each sound punctuated her effort, raw and unfiltered.

Alex’s control frayed.

”Goddamn, you’re good at this... sucking me like you were made for it.”

His voice was a growl, fingers tugging her hair to guide her... not roughly yet, but firm enough to remind her who was in charge.
