Family Cultivation: I can see the prompts

231: salary crisisOn Fangmu Mountain, Lin Yuzheng had a headache at this moment. The Family’s new clan meeting was about to begin, and it was a clan meeting where Lin Shiming, Lin Xianzhi, and other Family Elders would return. It was considered the largest clan meeting in nearly a decade.

However, facing the issue of Spirit Medicine stipends, Lin Yuzheng sighed.

The Family now earned a lot of Spirit Stones, but the number of Cultivators in the Lin Family was also incomparable, including six Foundation Establishment Cultivators.

A Spirit Light appeared, which was a sound transmission Spirit Talisman.

Lin Yuzheng immediately put down the Jade Slip in his hand and hurried towards the Green Lotus Pond on Fangmu Mountain.

Under the nourishment of the High Grade third-tier Spiritual Vein, the Green Lotus Pond was now even more vibrant, with one exquisitely adorned lotus after another floating in the pond. The Lin Family could also obtain many lotus seeds from the Green Lotus Pond every year.

Beside the Green Lotus Pond, in the pavilion, figures were already moving.

When Lin Yuzheng arrived, Lin Shiming stepped forward.

At this moment, although he still looked like he was in his early twenties, he had long shed his youthful immaturity, and every move he made contained an inexplicable power.

Currently, apart from those in seclusion for Foundation Establishment and those stationed at Shiling Cave, all other Elders and Hall Masters were present.

Lin Houshou was in seclusion for a Breakthrough to Foundation Establishment. The current Hall Master of the Formation Hall was a second-tier High Grade Formation Master from the Hou Generation, Lin Houqian. He was not very old but sported a small mustache.

The Hall Master of the Alchemy Hall was still Lin Houxuan. The Hall Master of the Artifact Refining Hall was temporarily held by a second-tier top-grade Artifact Refiner from the Hou Generation, Lin Houfei. Lin Houfei was Lin Yutie’s son, with Four Spiritual Roots, so his Aptitude was not particularly strong, but his Artifact Refining was decent, and he had Lin Yutie’s guidance since childhood. His appointment as a second-tier top-grade Artifact Refiner was met with no objections.

The Hall Master of the Law Enforcement Hall was still Lin Yuqing, the Hall Master of the Demon Hunting Hall was Lin Houyong, and the Hall Master of the Commerce Hall was Lin Yuzheng. The Merit Hall, which was related to the Family’s Treasure Pavilion, had its true Person in charge as Lin Shiming’s father, Lin Houyuan, who only had one deacon. He had not arrived yet, and instead, Lin Houyuan, who had not yet begun his seclusion, reported.

Besides these, the Lin Family’s Foundation Establishment Cultivators, Lin Xianzhi, and Lin Shitao, who had just broken through and exited seclusion, were also present.

Lin Xianzhi still had a head full of white hair, and there was some weariness in his eyes. While the dragon blood pill could activate Lin Xianzhi’s Bloodline, without longevity-extending Medicinal Pills, it was still impossible for Seventh Grand Uncle to extend his lifespan.

Lin Shitao, on the other hand, had flowing black hair and delicate features, like a Fairy from the heavens untouched by mortal dust. She looked at Lin Shiming, smiling faintly all the time.

She didn’t call him Seventh Brother, but her pride was evident on her face.

Because she was not only a Foundation Establishment Early Stage Cultivator but also a third-tier Medium Grade Alchemist. If she also had the Detailed Explanation of Array Instruments, she might even be able to refine third-tier High Grade Medicinal Pills.

The Lin Family had acquired a Highly Poisonous Horned Python, which was considered half a Dragon Beast and could definitely be used to refine dragon blood pill. However, the Lin Family currently did not have the dragon blood pill Pill Formula.

If Lin Shiming was to achieve his Great Dao, then Lin Shitao would help him achieve it!

”Seventh Grand Uncle, all Clan Uncles and Elders, Lin Shiming has called you all here for two important matters!”

”First, to understand the current situation of the Family and prepare for the clan meeting!”

”Second, the Family Grand Competition, to review the Family’s achievements over the past ten years!”

Lin Shiming explained one by one. He had initially only thought of gathering the clansmen with Seventh Grand Uncle to go to the Outer Sea islands, but then his father came to him and informed him about the clan meeting.

Lin Shiming then convened this meeting. The Lin Family members already numbered over five hundred, and it was no longer possible to announce all clan rules on the spot and discuss all strategies together, as in the past.

This was also, in Lin Shiming’s view, a future trend for the Lin Family: the Clan Chief steers, and each hall executes.

”Please, all Hall Masters and Elders, report one by one!” After Lin Shiming finished speaking, he looked at Lin Yuqing.

As the Hall Master of the Law Enforcement Hall and the former Grand Elder of the Family, he was the first to report:

”Reporting to the Clan Chief, Seventh Uncle, under the Clan Chief’s wise governance, the Lin Family now has a total of five hundred twenty-one Cultivators, including six Foundation Establishment Cultivators, an increase of one compared to ten years ago. There are twenty-three Qi Refining Stage Ninth Level Cultivators, an increase of thirteen compared to ten years ago. There are fifty-two Late Stage Qi Refining Cultivators, an increase of thirty compared to ten years ago. There are one hundred twenty Middle Stage Qi Refining Cultivators, an increase of forty compared to ten years ago. There are a total of two hundred Early Stage Qi Refining Cultivators, an increase of one hundred compared to ten years ago. There are one hundred twenty Innate Cultivators!”

”Among them, the Cultivator with special Spiritual Roots is Lin Shilei, who has been secretly listed as a key Family support target. Lei Xuan is a Cultivator with special Spiritual Roots who married into the Family and has been listed as a key support target. There are five Cultivators with Two Spiritual Roots, including Seventh Grand Uncle Lin Xianzhi, Lin Shitao, Lin Shijie, Lin Zekong, and Lin Zecheng. Lin Zekong is the eldest of the Family’s Ze Generation, sixteen years old, with Water-Wood Dual Spiritual Roots, at Qi Refining Stage Fourth Level. Lin Zecheng is the third eldest of the Family’s Ze Generation, with Fire-Earth Dual Spiritual Roots, at Qi Refining Stage Fourth Level. Additionally, Cultivators with Three Spiritual Roots have reached fifty-two!”

”Furthermore, due to the invasion of the Demonic Sect and reduced income, the Family Cultivators’ stipends have all been halved for the past three years!”

After Lin Yuqing’s report, it was Lin Yuzheng’s turn to report on the Family’s financial income:

”Clan Chief, Seventh Uncle, the Lin Family’s current financial income comes from ten sources: monkey wine, Red Spirit Fish, Blood Crocodile, Green Lotus Pond lotus seeds, market revenue, Alchemy and Artifact Refining revenue, gold-iron stone revenue, Spirit Herb Garden revenue, Mingxin Tea Tree revenue, and Green Lotus Pond spirit water.”

”Among these, the Green Lotus Pond spirit water Spirit Stone income is expected to increase again, reaching three thousand Spirit Stones annually, which is an increase of 1,000 Spirit Stones compared to before. The Spirit Peach Tree and monkey wine are expected to yield an average of 10,000 Spirit Stones annually, an increase of 5,000 Spirit Stones compared to before, but the previous stock of monkey wine and even Spirit Peach were distributed as stipends. Xing County Market, Qingyun Market, and Lingnan County’s Lingnan Market have all flourished, and it is estimated that rent alone will reach 10,000 Spirit Stones annually. Red Spirit Fish and Blood Crocodile, due to their longer cultivation period, are expected to yield 10,000 Spirit Stones annually. Green Lotus Pond lotus seeds yield 5,000 Spirit Stones annually, an increase of 4,000 Spirit Stones compared to before. Alchemy and Artifact Refining income, due to increased scale and the ability to refine third-tier Medicinal Pills and third-tier Magical Artifacts, has increased, with an estimated annual income of 50,000 Spirit Stones. The Glinting Metal Stone Vein yields 10,000 annually, and if the Gintetsu Crystal vein is mined, it is expected to increase by another 50,000. Additionally, the Mingxin Tea Tree income will be less, only 4,000 Spirit Stones annually.”

”The total estimated Spirit Stone income is 150,000 Spirit Stones annually!”

As Lin Yuzheng spoke, the other Family Cultivators gasped, followed by a wave of joy. Even without the Gintetsu Crystal vein, the Family’s income had already reached 100,000 Spirit Stones annually.

This income already far exceeded that of many Foundation Establishment Families, even major Foundation Establishment Families in Qingzhou could not compare. Everyone even felt that it was not far from a Purple Mansion Family.

However, the next moment, Lin Houyuan frowned and spoke again:

”Clan Chief, Seventh Grand Uncle, due to the Family’s stipend plan, the Family’s remaining Spirit Stones are not much!”

”The Lin Family’s current basic clan stipend is 20 Spirit Stones annually for Early Stage Qi Refining, 50 Spirit Stones annually for Middle Stage Qi Refining, 100 Spirit Stones annually for Late Stage Qi Refining Cultivators, 200 Spirit Stones annually for Qi Refining Stage Ninth Level Cultivators, 1,000 Spirit Stones annually for Foundation Establishment Early Stage Cultivators, 2,000 Spirit Stones annually for Foundation Establishment Middle Stage Cultivators, and 3,000 Spirit Stones annually for Late Foundation Establishment Stage Cultivators!”

”Among these, Early Stage Qi Refining Cultivators who advance two levels in three years, Middle Stage Qi Refining Cultivators who advance one level in three years, and Late Stage Qi Refining Cultivators who advance one level in six years will all become double stipend Cultivators. Additionally, Four Spiritual Roots and Five Spiritual Roots Cultivators, as well as those who advance two major stages, will become triple stipend Cultivators.”

”Qi Refining Stage Ninth Level and Foundation Establishment Cultivators all receive double stipends!”

”Additionally, there are Family fertility support stipends!”

”Plus extra stipends for certain Family positions, totaling 60,000 Spirit Stones. And this does not include the one hundred twenty Innate Cultivators who could break through to Early Stage Qi Refining at any time!”

And the Lin Family members finally understood why the Family had to halve stipends in previous years.

Because they simply couldn’t afford the stipends for over five hundred clansmen.

Although the great war had ended and everything was being rebuilt, and the Family’s income was considerable, if this continued, with Innate Cultivators entering Early Stage Qi Refining and new young children constantly being found to have Immortal Roots, the Family’s Spirit Stones would once again face a crisis sooner or later!
