Cultivation is just so scientific!

Chapter 1872 - 982: Half-Step (2)

At this moment, Li Yuanba no longer felt constrained. Although a cave heaven with a thirty-meter radius was still relatively small to him, it was much larger than ten years ago.

He sensed the energy within the cave heaven, where the energy was still chaotically condensed within.

He knew that the next step was the most crucial task. Carefully, he took out a Gold Element Heavenly Mechanism Treasure. This wasn’t provided by the Sword Intent Chongxiao Pavilion but was something Li Shiming had prepared for him.

This Gold Element Heavenly Mechanism Treasure had never been used before and was a pristine heavenly mechanism treasure.

He placed the Gold Element Heavenly Mechanism Treasure in front of him; in this place, there was no distinction between heaven and earth, at least not yet.

He activated the technique of the ’Sky-Surging Sword Intent Technique,’ infusing the Gold Element Spiritual Power Pattern along with his insight into the rules into the Gold Element Heavenly Mechanism Treasure.

The Gold Element Heavenly Mechanism Treasure emitted golden light, and all the energy in the cave heaven began to assimilate under the influence of this golden light.

This golden light was a type of energy only a half-step great power could master, a blend of half-step great power level Gold Element Rules, Gold Element Spiritual Power, and his spirit energy.

Li Yuanba could sense that any beam of this golden light could effortlessly kill a peak great cultivator.

This was energy of a level significantly higher than the Great Cultivator Realm, rendering the energy of great cultivators utterly trivial before it.

The Gold Element Heavenly Mechanism Treasure became the core of the cave heaven, continuously generating Gold Element Spirit Qi from this core.

Even in the absence of external spiritual veins, the Gold Element Cave Heaven Core could ensure the growth of energy within the cave heaven.

However, without external support, the energy growth within the cave heaven would slow down.

Residing within the cave heaven, he felt as if he were the master of this world; this feeling was real, as he had created this world, built upon the foundation of his Nascent Soul.

The world, however, was extremely fragile, particularly when he placed the Gold Element Heavenly Mechanism Treasure, evolving the cave heaven from its nascent state into a true cave heaven.

Though the quality of energy in the cave heaven had been greatly enhanced, it also brought greater peril.

The golden light scattering within the cave heaven occasionally resulted in small energy explosions upon collision.

As the dominator of the cave heaven, he had the ability to control the energy within, with every beam of golden light at his command.

Yet the constant movement of the golden light posed a potential threat if not carefully monitored.

Therefore, Li Yuanba had to keep a vigilant eye on the energy within the cave heaven at all times. According to the records he read, many half-step great powers fell due to conflicts in cave heaven energy.

At present, it was still relatively simple, with only one type of Gold Element Rules and Gold Element Spiritual Power; the balance of energy would become more difficult to maintain with the introduction of other rules and spiritual energies.

In his current state, Li Yuanba still possessed spare capacity after familiarizing himself with the Gold Element Rules and Spiritual Power of the cave heaven.

In the past, half-step great power Yang Xing, similar to him, was dispatched to deal with Li Shiming due to having spare capacity.

At this time, Li Yuanba was quite at ease, not because of his genius, but because he could leverage IBMz15 for assistance.

With IBMz15’s computational power, he could clearly understand the energy changes within the cave heaven, allowing him to adjust the energy to prevent conflicts before they occurred.

By reaching this point, Li Yuanba had truly stepped into the half-step great power realm, and now faced long periods of arduous cultivation to continuously enhance his control over the cave heaven and absorb external energy.

Sword Elder had been keeping an eye on Li Yuanba’s situation, and upon noticing the disappearence of Li Yuanba’s physical body, he knew that Li Yuanba had successfully completed the first step of ascending to half-step great power.

Afterward, he regularly checked the abode, and judging by a wisp of breath emanating from the Space Stone, which served as the cave heaven anchor point carrier, he could gauge Li Yuanba’s condition.

Upon sensing a hint of pure Gold Element Rule Power from the Space Stone, a smile appeared on his face.

Li Yuanba had truly become a half-step great power, and his future cultivation would rely on time to accumulate.

The Sword Intent Chongxiao Pavilion could only provide Li Yuanba with a steady supply of energy, ensuring the cave heaven received a continuous influx of energy.

One should not underestimate Li Yuanba’s ascension to half-step great power; in reality, countless peak great cultivators in the cultivation world had fallen at this step. Out of ten peak great cultivators, only one succeeding to this stage was already a remarkable feat.

One must understand that each peak great cultivator was a top-tier genius cultivated by the superpowers at great expense and effort.

Before investing resources, the superpowers conducted extensive evaluations on the cultivator, investing only when all conditions met certain standards.

Yet, even such genius cultivators faced dreadful odds in ascending to half-step great power.

IBMz15 documented Li Yuanba’s situation here, making it a reference for ascending to half-step great power.

Li Shiming recently found himself in a difficult position; the more he studied Li Yuanba’s ascension process, the less confident he was in advancing his five Nascent Souls to half-step great power.

What he read in records differed from personal experience, with the latter revealing more details to him.

Perhaps he was the first in the cultivation world to luxuriously use an avatar to ascend to half-step great power, gaining experiential data for the ascension of his true form.

However, this data did not make ascending to half-step great power any easier; instead, it seemed to complicate matters further.

News of Li Yuanba’s ascension to half-step great power spread from the Sword Intent Chongxiao Pavilion without being deliberately kept secret.

Both cultivators familiar and unfamiliar with Li Yuanba in the cultivation world were astounded one by one.

This confirmed Li Yuanba’s position as the foremost beneath great power. However, after ascending to half-step great power, he could no longer wander the outside, rendering that title meaningless.

Upon hearing the news, Yingchuan Bodhisattva of Tianluo Temple crushed his beloved prayer beads in hand.

Despite the loss of his prayer beads, the news awoke more concerns about Li Yuanba in his heart.

Recently, the Sword Intent Chongxiao Pavilion made a move against Tianluo Temple, with sword cultivators blocking the commercial routes of the Central State Continent, preventing Tianluo Temple’s long-distance flying boats from entering the Central State Continent or transferring to other continents.

In the short term, this impact was minimal, but if prolonged, Tianluo Temple’s resource reserves would be considerably affected.

He had already approached Sword Elder to negotiate a resolution.

However, Sword Elder’s temperament suggested this enmity might remain unresolved for decades.

This wasn’t all; Yingchuan Bodhisattva’s greatest concern was Li Yuanba himself, so he revisited Li Yuanba’s dossier. A four-hundred-year-old half-step great power startled him.

Among half-step great powers, those closest to success often fell due to exhausting their life spans.

This was because the vast majority of half-step great powers were at least over a thousand years old, sometimes two thousand, with limited life spans remaining.

But Li Yuanba was different; he possessed a significant life span allowing him to endure the half-step great power realm, which substantially increased his chances of becoming a great power.

”It’s still necessary to negotiate with the sword maniac. Even if some benefits must be conceded, this enmity must be resolved!” Yingchuan Bodhisattva murmured to himself.

With this direction set, Tianluo Temple would offer more incentives to persuade the Sword Intent Chongxiao Pavilion.

Even Sword Elder would need to consider the interests of the Sword Intent Chongxiao Pavilion; with enough benefits, Sword Elder would undoubtedly agree to resolve the enmity. The only dilemma was deciding how much interest Tianluo Temple should concede.

At Luanyang Palace, Phoenix Palace Master also received the news.

”I didn’t expect Mr. Li to take the lead!” Phoenix Palace Master said with a rueful smile, a look of resignation on her perfect face.

She had watched Li Yuanba catch up to her step by step and unexpectedly, at the peak great cultivator realm, Li Yuanba surpassed her in ascending to half-step great power first.

She had, after all, prepared for several hundred years for the ascension to half-step great power.
