I'm Afraid I Won't Be Able to Leave

Chapter 15: Chapter 15: Do You Know Who I Am?

”This is different.” Leah Sinclair splashed her face hard with water, then rinsed her mouth and coughed for a long time. She fought to stay conscious, but the strange feeling in her body made her tremble uncontrollably.

Ethan Shaw called for her from the doorway. She shook her head and pulled Ethan’s jacket tighter around herself. A waitress helped her out. Frowning, Asher Keating took her over and started toward the elevator. ”Too much to drink?”

”No...” Leah Sinclair leaned against him, feeling worse and worse.

”The drink... was drugged.”

Leah Sinclair gritted out the four words. She felt like her entire body was on fire. She had felt something was off after her fifth glass, but at the time, she hadn’t thought much of it, assuming she’d just had too much to drink. But then she began to feel increasingly unwell—an agony laced with desire. Only then did she realize something was terribly wrong, forcing herself to repeatedly pinch and bite her own skin just to stay lucid.

Asher Keating froze for a moment, then swept her up into his arms and quickened his pace. Unsure what was happening, Ethan Shaw and Riley Sterling hurried to follow. Inside the elevator, Leah Sinclair was already starting to lose her senses. Even though she had thrown up, the drug was taking full effect. She tugged at Asher Keating’s clothes, squirming in discomfort. ”I feel so awful.”

”Hang in there.” Afraid she might fall, Asher Keating set her down but kept her encircled in his arms.

”It hurts... It hurts so much, and I’m so hot... Third Master.” Leah Sinclair burrowed into his embrace. Her expression and her eyes were filled with an alluring charm. The drug had completely taken over her mind, and she couldn’t control herself.

Asher Keating steadied her waist with one hand to keep her still, while his other hand guided her head forward for a kiss. Ethan Shaw and Riley Sterling were so shocked their jaws could have hit the floor. But they also quickly realized Leah Sinclair had been drugged. They sometimes used similar things to spice things up, so they recognized her current state.

The two of them cursed Morgan Sterling for stooping to such tactics. If Asher Keating hadn’t shown up tonight, Leah Sinclair would have been done for. Although they had gotten to know her a little, without a clear signal from Asher Keating beforehand, they wouldn’t have gone so far as to turn on Morgan Sterling for her sake.

The kiss only made Leah Sinclair feel more tormented. She couldn’t stop herself from reaching for Asher Keating, desperately trying to unbutton his shirt. Asher pinned her hands and broke the kiss, but she still yearned for more. He gave her another quick peck. ”Just a little longer. We’re going to the car.”

Leah Sinclair kept nuzzling against him like a cat. Once out of the elevator, Ethan Shaw and Riley Sterling ran to find Asher Keating’s car. By the time Asher came out carrying her, Sean Yates had already pulled up. Asher Keating put her in the car and asked Ethan, ”Did you two drink?”

”We didn’t get a chance to,” Ethan Shaw replied quickly.

”Buy a box of condoms and wait for Sean Yates at West Loop Park. Sean, head to West Loop Park.” After saying this, Asher Keating got into the car. It was the nearest secluded place he could think of. Ethan Shaw and Riley Sterling hurried to their own car.

”Third Master’s not actually going to do it in the car, is he?” Riley Sterling clicked his tongue in amazement.

”What else? Look at the state Leah Sinclair is in. If they wait any longer, she’ll go insane. You go buy the condoms, I’ll get the car. Meet you at the entrance,” Ethan Shaw said, giving him a shove.

”It hurts so much...”

In the car, Asher Keating held Leah Sinclair in his arms as she constantly pressed herself against him. She wanted to kiss him, she wanted him, she was in agony. Asher cupped her head and kissed her. Meanwhile, Sean Yates kept his eyes on the road, his nose pointed forward, and his heart in check, driving as fast as he could.

”Just a little longer, we’re almost there.”

”I can’t take it anymore... It hurts so much. I want... I want you.” Leah Sinclair pulled at Asher Keating, trying to kiss him.

”Do you know who I am?” Asher Keating held her still, trying to make her as comfortable as possible.

”Ngh... Third Master, Third Master Keating... Third Master, it hurts.”

In reality, Leah Sinclair no longer knew who was in front of her. The drug Morgan Sterling had used was much more potent than the usual stuff. But deep down, the only person she could imagine doing this with was Asher Keating. Even if it were Ben Coleman in front of her now, she would have mistaken him for Asher Keating. She was just instinctively calling out for her ”Third Master.”

Sean Yates parked the car and got out. Ethan Shaw immediately came to the window and handed a box inside. ”Third Master, we’ll get going then?”

”Mm, have Sean Yates take the money and get her contract back.” Asher Keating closed the window without another word.

Now the two of them were alone in the car. Asher Keating reclined the seat, pressing Leah Sinclair down beneath him as he kissed her. Leah, in turn, wrapped her entire body around him, murmuring ”Third Master” under her breath.

Asher Keating hadn’t expected her to be thinking of him at a time like this. He knew about this drug; Ethan Shaw and the others had mentioned it before. It was much more potent than what they usually used, and it supposedly revealed who the person taking it truly desired.

He scoffed at Morgan Sterling’s methods. ’How desperate is he to know if Leah and I have a relationship? Or is he just some pervert who wants to hear Leah call out another man’s name while she’s under him? To think he’d resort to using a drug like this.’

A fine sheen of sweat covered Leah Sinclair’s skin. The corners of her eyes were flushed red, exuding an endless allure. He had to admit, he had thought of her a few times over the past half-month, especially during business dinners when people tried to set him up with women. For some reason, the image of Leah beneath him would flash through his mind. But he had no interest in such things and had refused every time.

Leah Sinclair seemed to let out a satisfied sigh. She clung tightly to Asher Keating’s back, her legs wrapped around his waist. The space inside the car was still a bit cramped, and Asher couldn’t fully extend his long legs.

Right now, Leah Sinclair’s mind was consumed by only one thing. She was like a fish gasping for air, and Asher Keating was her water. She unconsciously arched her back, trying to press closer against him. As Asher held her waist, Leah’s senses began to return. She started to realize she was in Asher Keating’s car, with Asher Keating on top of her.

A sense of shame crept over her, bit by bit. The blush on her face deepened as she bit down hard on her lip. But she still couldn’t control her desire for Asher Keating. He kissed her, his fingers roaming over her body. ”How many times have I told you not to bite your lip? I like hearing you call my name.”

”Third... Third Master, I, unh...” Leah Sinclair looked at him, her eyes flushed red. The combination of agony and pleasure was making her lose control.

”Don’t bite it again.” Asher Keating kissed her fiercely. Leah tilted her head back, accepting his dominant kiss. Overwhelmed by pleasure, her hands unconsciously clawed at his arms, leaving behind a series of marks.

After what felt like an eternity, the movements inside the car slowly ceased. Leah Sinclair’s mind had mostly cleared. She clung to Asher Keating, gasping for breath. Asher cleaned them both up a little, then draped his jacket over her. ”Sober now?”
