I'm Afraid I Won't Be Able to Leave

Chapter 6: Chapter 6: I’m Not Off Work Yet

”Motherfucker.”

Ben Coleman slapped her across the face. Leah Sinclair had used all her strength in that earlier collision, and now with this slap on top of it, she instantly saw stars. Her face hurt, and her forehead throbbed.

”Think I was going easy on you?” Ben Coleman grabbed her by the hair. ’Great, now my scalp hurts too.’ The other hostesses nearby screamed in terror.

”Get them the hell out of here!” Ben Coleman yelled over his shoulder. The hostesses scurried away in a flash. Some didn’t want to get involved, while a few kind-hearted ones rushed off to get help.

”I tried to be nice, but you wouldn’t listen, huh? Looks like you like it rough, is that it?” Ben Coleman sneered. ”Come over here and hold her down for me. I’m gonna do her right here. When I’m done, she’s all yours.”

”You got it, Young Master Coleman.” The lecherous man from before and another guy came over, grinning, to pin Leah Sinclair down. Ben Coleman stood up and grabbed a box from nearby.

”Know what this is?” Ben Coleman asked, holding something up. Leah Sinclair had sobered up a bit and stared in horror at the object in his hand. Ben Coleman pinned her chin with one hand. ”Well? Is this bigger than Third Master Keating’s?”

”Pervert! Let me go!” Leah Sinclair shrieked.

”Pervert? Mmm, everyone calls me that. What’s wrong with being a pervert? In a little while, you’re going to love this pervert.”

Laughing manically, Ben Coleman was about to shove the object under her. In a panic, Leah Sinclair bit down hard on the web of his thumb, using all her strength and refusing to let go.

”Damn it! You fucking bitch!”

The bite was so painful Ben Coleman couldn’t stand it, but he couldn’t pull his hand free. Enraged, he slapped her viciously again. Blood immediately trickled from the corner of Leah Sinclair’s mouth, and her ears started to ring.

”Whoa, Young Master Coleman, this bitch has a lot of spine.”

The lecherous man smirked. ”How about we all do it together? It’s been a long time since I’ve met one with this much fight in her. I can barely hold myself back.”

”Fine. Let’s see just how much spine she has.”

Ben Coleman shook his hand. Seeing the blood on it, he gave it a disgusting lick. The taste of blood only excited him more.

”Rip her clothes off,” Ben Coleman ordered.

”Let me go!”

Leah Sinclair was still struggling with all her might, but her strength was no match for several men. She was trembling with rage. ’Why hasn’t anyone come yet? Did those girls not go get help?’

”Well now, Ben Coleman. Long time no see. Still into the same old tricks, I see.”

Just as Leah Sinclair was about to despair, the door to the private room was pushed open. Ethan Shaw strolled in nonchalantly. With red-rimmed eyes, Leah Sinclair looked toward the door. Ethan Shaw and Riley Sterling, whom she had met yesterday, entered first, followed by Asher Keating.

Asher Keating merely glanced at Leah Sinclair, who was pinned on the sofa, then turned his expressionless gaze to Ben Coleman. That one look was all it took for the lecherous man holding her down to release her immediately.

”Well, Third Master Keating, Young Master Shaw, Young Master Sterling! What wind blew you all here? Third Master Keating, when did you get back? Why didn’t you let me know?” Ben Coleman’s attitude completely changed, as if he were a different person from moments ago.

Leah Sinclair quickly sat up. Asher Keating took off his jacket, walked over, and tossed it onto her. With trembling hands, Leah Sinclair thanked him and wrapped it around herself.

Asher Keating’s eyes swept past the blood on the corner of her mouth and her severely swollen cheek. He frowned almost imperceptibly, then simply sat down, lit a cigarette, and said nothing.

Ben Coleman had no idea what he was thinking and snuck a glance at Ethan Shaw. Ethan Shaw sneered, ”Ben Coleman, don’t tell me you didn’t know. This girl... she’s with Third Master Keating, isn’t she?”

”This... I know Third Master Keating took her yesterday, but wasn’t that her first time? Could Third Master Keating still be interested in her?” Ben Coleman asked, feigning innocence.

”Whether he’s interested or not, it’s not your place to touch her, is it?” Riley Sterling mocked. ”You’re trying to get first dibs on someone even we wouldn’t dare to touch?”

”Ah, this is all a misunderstanding. I just assumed Third Master Keating was done with her after a one-time thing. I’m so sorry, so sorry.”

As he spoke, Ben Coleman kicked the lecherous man. ”What’s wrong with you? Why didn’t you check who she was before bringing her in?”

”Sorry, so sorry, Third Young Master Keating. We just saw that the girl was pretty and didn’t ask around,” the lecherous man said, playing along.

”We’re taking her with us. You guys can just keep it ’clean’ tonight. Don’t call any other girls; we don’t want you causing any more trouble. And don’t say we’re bullying you. This is from Third Master Keating. Your expenses for the night are covered,” Ethan Shaw said, placing a card on the table.

”I wouldn’t dare. How could I accept this?” Ben Coleman said, trying to shove the card back.

Ethan Shaw didn’t take it. ”I gave it to you, so take it. Cut the crap.”

After Ethan Shaw finished speaking, Asher Keating stood up and walked toward the door. He seemed to disdain even saying a single word. When he reached the doorway, he noticed Leah Sinclair hadn’t followed and glanced back at the dazed girl.

”Hey, keep up.”

Ethan Shaw called out to Leah Sinclair. ’Has the girl been scared stiff?’ Leah Sinclair finally snapped out of it and scrambled to her feet, following behind Asher Keating.

Asher Keating returned to the adjacent Room 8888, where other people were waiting. Without a word, Asher Keating sat right in the middle.

Wearing his jacket, Leah Sinclair felt awkward and didn’t know what to do. Riley Sterling, who came in behind her, gave her a little push. ”Go on, are you stupid?”

The private room was a bit quiet. Other than the music playing, no one was speaking.

Leah Sinclair slowly shuffled over to sit beside Asher Keating and said softly, ”Thank you.”

”Alright, alright, let’s get back to it.”

Ethan Shaw came in and closed the door, and the room grew lively again. He got a new glass for Leah Sinclair. ”How about it, sis? Our Third Master Keating saved you. Don’t you owe him a drink?”

Leah Sinclair quickly and obediently poured a full glass. ”Young Master Keating, thank you for what you did just now.”

After speaking, she downed it in one go. It was hard liquor, and a strong one at that. She hadn’t even added ice. Ethan Shaw clicked his tongue in amazement. ”Wow, she can really drink.”

”I... I can hold my liquor.”

Leah Sinclair still coughed a few times after finishing the drink. If she couldn’t hold her liquor, she wouldn’t have dared apply for a job here in the first place. She had originally thought her job would simply be to keep clients company and drink with them.

But who knew she had been so naive? From what Ben Coleman had said, as long as she worked here, whether she was just drinking with clients or providing other services was not up to her to decide.

”Go change your clothes and wash your face,” Asher Keating said flatly.

Leah Sinclair wanted to change too. This dress was even shorter than yesterday’s. Even though she was wearing his jacket, she still felt very insecure sitting down.

”I... I’m not off my shift yet,” Leah Sinclair said, looking troubled.

Ethan Shaw burst out laughing. ”Why are you so stubborn? Third Master Keating told you to go change. You think anyone here would dare to stop you?”

”Then... thank you. Please wait for me for a moment.” Leah Sinclair quickly stood up and left.

”Third Master Keating, now I believe she’s a greenhorn. She... is one, right?”

Ethan Shaw asked curiously. If she wasn’t, he would have definitely raised a stink. After all, he had spent three hundred thousand on her. Although, Asher Keating had given the money to Azure Bay, and he had gotten his own money back.
