Apocalypse Descent: Farming with My Harem

Chapter 1390: Chapter 473: Origin Shield and SS-level Quest!

Then he walked over and slowly grasped the corner of the shield.

The next moment, the shield appeared in his backpack,

[Acquired: Shield of Origin - Anodite (Legendary)]

...

At this moment, the corners of Cao Xing’s mouth curved into a smile once more.

Finally... it’s in hand!

This is the first legendary shield equipment he has obtained!

Cao Xing was also eagerly anticipating its attributes.

He couldn’t wait to take a glance.

(Note: In the Primordial Giant Form, all attributes increase by 100%, hardness increases by 100%, and can use the legendary skill: ’Destroy Heaven and Earth!’)

(Equipment Introduction: A shield brimming with infinite life force, representing absolute power and protection...)

...

”Damn... this is insane!”

”A full five effects, not a single useless attribute, each significantly boosting survival capability!”

”Especially the final legendary effect, it’s unimaginably powerful!”

Not only can it transform, but it can also use a legendary skill once!

The strength of a legendary skill can be seen from the skill [Eternal Sin Ice Prison]!

At this moment, Cao Xing was completely shocked!

Of course, like all legendary equipment, this [Shield of Origin] requires Level 70 to use.

Besides, in his mind, Cao Xing already had a candidate in mind.

There’s no one more suited to this shield in the entire territory than Blom!

Liu Muxue and others also use shields, but they lean towards a balanced offensive and defensive approach.

Blom is purely a meat shield.

With this shield, he would undergo a qualitative transformation.

”He can only use this once he reaches Level 70.”

”When the big guy has such a powerful shield, he’s sure to jump with excitement!”

Of course, that time won’t be too far away.

After all, there’s no bottleneck from Level 60 to Level 70.

At the current rate, Cao Xing estimated that within half a month, he’d be able to push Blom straight to Level 70.

Thinking of this, his mood improved significantly.

Meanwhile.

Black Knight Tirnis commented from the side.

”With this, nearly everything in the Gray City has been taken by you...”

Cao Xing scratched his head in embarrassment.

This time, he did indeed gain quite a bit.

Not only did he enlist all the undead, but he also obtained a large number of ancient tree seeds, and this powerful Shield of Origin!

In addition to triggering an SS-level heritage quest.

One could say the harvest was substantial.

And this also raised a new question in Cao Xing’s heart.

”Tirnis, do other cities of the undead have these statues?”

The Black Knight nodded, ”They should. The reason we, the undead, exist is to guard the War God’s legacy.”

Cao Xing’s gaze focused.

Because this indicated that not only him, but other survivors might also trigger Basaze’s legacy quests.

Of course, at present, the probability is low.

The primary reason being, these undead will attack any living being.

For someone like Cao Xing, who can rely on strength to resist an entire City of Undead, one could say there are almost none.

But there are always survivors with good luck or some special means.

Of course, even if they trigger it, it won’t help.

Just the first ring task, in the current stage, no one can complete it.

After all, it requires them to defeat a legendary monster!

Cao Xing didn’t dwell further on this issue.

He continued to ask: ”Tirnis, I have one more question.”

Now, after accepting Basaze True God Legacy Quest, Cao Xing gained even more of Tirnis’s approval.

This Black Knight was now willing to share everything.

”Ask away.”

Cao Xing said, ”As far as I know, Human Clan history records that they only rose in the last ten thousand years.”

”Yet you existed more than ten thousand years ago.”

”What did you all experience in that era?”

Upon hearing this question, the Black Knight slowly glanced at Cao Xing.

”This question, ask me again when you have legendary strength... ”

”Knowing now would only have a negative impact on you.”

Cao Xing’s expression subtly shifted.

Clearly, this Black Knight knew something.

He didn’t pursue further.

”Alright, let’s leave this place first.”

Then, he and Tirnis exited the ruins of the city.

Meanwhile, outside stood a sea of blue and green undead.

Duke Baladin was continuously converting more undead.

A large number of ancient undead were being converted into Ascalon undead, flaring with blue ghost fire.
