169: Chapter 169: Fine, then I’ll see when you die.

Sometimes the old grandma would think, if she had treated Tang Qiulu better before, would Tang Qiulu have invited her to live together?

But whenever she remembered that Tang Qiulu was a girl and that the future chairman position was Tang Xiangdong’s, the old grandma abandoned the thought.

As for the Mountain Villa, if possible, the old grandma would snatch it from Tang Qiulu and hand it over to Tang Xiangdong because Tang Xiangdong is the future Family Head, what qualification does Tang Qiulu have to live in this villa?

When the elderly woman returned to her villa, she found Tang Xiangdong sitting in the living room, his face showing an angry expression.

“Donglin, why have you come?” the old grandma asked.

Tang Xiangdong stood up, his face hesitant, wanting to speak but stopped.

“What are you mumbling about, hurry up and speak.” the old grandma said.

“Su Changfeng can’t be allowed to be so arrogant anymore, grandma, this guy doesn’t even put us in his eyes now!” Tang Xiangdong said.

Talking about this matter made the old grandma fume, Su Changfeng was particularly presumptuous when speaking to her, but now Tang Qiulu’s position was especially important, even the old grandma had to endure.

“Tang Qiulu is in charge of the West District project, and her status in the group has risen significantly, which is why Su Changfeng doesn’t take us seriously.

But you also know, that project cooperation can’t be done without Tang Qiulu.” the old grandma said.

This was very obvious to Tang Xiangdong.

Since the last incident, Tang Xiangdong hadn’t considered removing Tang Qiulu from this position because this project could affect the Tang Family’s future.

“Grandma, the reason Su Changfeng is so arrogant is that you’re not ruthless enough and haven’t suppressed Tang Qiulu’s momentum.

You also understand, grandma doesn’t want things to become too awkward because Tang Qiulu is of great help to the Tang Family, and after all, Tang Qiulu is a Tang Family member.

In that case, I’ll be the bad guy.” Tang Xiangdong said.

The old grandma frowned at these words, he would be the bad guy?

“Are you now planning to have me pass the chairman position to you?” the old grandma asked.

“I have to become chairman now to have status and identity to overshadow Tang Qiulu, grandma.

Moreover, haven’t you noticed?

Now, Tang Qiulu is controlled by Su Changfeng, and during this time, Tang Qiulu intentionally made it appear in front of everyone that her relationship with Su Changfeng has cooled.

Can’t you see her ambition?

These two bastards are putting on a show here, making you and everyone believe her relationship with Su Canghai is bad, planning for you to value her!” Tang Xiangdong said eagerly.

Tang Xiangdong couldn’t wait any longer, because only by becoming the Tang Family chairman could he have more power to deal with Tang Qiulu and Su Canghai.

“No way.” the old grandma resolutely refused, though the chairman position would eventually pass to Tang Xiangdong, the old grandma didn’t plan to do so now.

Even though she favored Tang Xiangdong, she was aware of Tang Xiangdong’s limitations; he currently did not have the capacity to take over the group.

If she gave him the chairman position now, the Tang Family might be affected.

Tang Xiangdong gritted his teeth and said, “Grandma, anyway the chairman position will eventually be mine, so why can’t it be given to me now?”

The old grandma’s face turned gloomy, then she looked at Tang Xiangdong with a ‘disappointment in iron not turning into steel’ expression, saying, “If it wasn’t because you have no promising future, would the chairman position still not be yours now?If it wasn’t for you being the only male heir, that position wouldn’t be yours at all!”

This sentence directly depreciated Tang Xiangdong to worthless, also making him harbor intense hatred towards the old grandma.

“Grandma, are you just going to watch that bitch Tang Qiulu’s status rise higher and higher in the group?” Tang Xiangdong asked through gritted teeth.

“I have my ways to deal with her.

If you want to become chairman soon, then quickly improve your abilities; otherwise, just wait until I’ve passed away!” the old grandma said.

After I’m dead?

Fine, then I’ll see when you die.

After walking out of the villa, Tang Xiangdong was filled with murderous intent.

If I must become chairman when you’re dead, then you better die!

In the Mountain Villa, Sun Mei was saying something in Tang Qiulu’s room, because the old grandma only gave her 3 days.

If she couldn’t accomplish the task set by the old grandma, then their family would never have good days ahead.

“Why don’t you think for yourself?

Even though you’re in charge of the West District project, if the old grandma decides to take away your power, she can easily find a way.

So why would you give up your promising future because of that wastrel Su Canghai?” Tang Qiulu’s inflexibility made Sun Mei very frustrated.

No matter how much she tried to persuade, Tang Qiulu simply wouldn’t comply.

“Our entire family is counting on you.

If the old grandma deals with you, how do you think we can support the family, and this Mountain Villa costs hundreds of thousands every year, are you thinking he would provide the money?”

“My happiness with your father has just begun, and now because of that outsider Su Changfeng, do you think risking this is worth it?”

Tang Qiulu’s face was as deep as water, for such shameless things, what right did she have to make an excuse for Su Changfeng?

She never expected that grandma would come here and make such shameless demands.

“Mom, I’m not that thick-skinned.” Tang Qiulu said.

“Is pride worth caring about now?

Moreover, what’s wrong with ordering Su Changfeng to do this?

He’s been freeloading for 3 years here, asking him to help you once now, what’s wrong?” Sun Mei scornfully said.

Freeloading for 3 years?

Sun Mei actually dared to say such shameless words?

Not mentioning the things Su Changfeng had helped Tang Qiulu with, she didn’t even know, but just talking about the Mountain Villa, could it not cover the three years of expenses Su Changfeng incurred with the Tang Family?

Being shameless makes one invincible, and Sun Mei has perfectly embodied this idea.

“Mom, don’t forget, who paid for this villa.” Tang Qiulu said.

“Silly girl, now the property certificate of the villa has your name written on it, why care about who paid for it?

Anyway, the house is yours now!” Sun Mei gleefully looked at Tang Qiulu, with an uncontrollable smile on her face because she thought she was very clever, having initially made Su Changfeng transfer the house to Tang Qiulu’s name.

“Mom, one mustn’t be so shameless.” Tang Qiulu said.

“What’s shameless?

In today’s world, who doesn’t do anything for profit?

This is nothing!” Sun Mei said.

Tang Qiulu couldn’t help but sigh; reasoning with Sun Mei was impossible because Sun Mei was incredibly selfish.
