The Incubus System

Chapter 775: Sleep Naked

The Incubus System Chapter 765. Sleep Naked

Once I swung open my bedroom door, I was met with an unexpected collision. Tiffany was standing right there in the doorway, and we both stumbled back in shock.

Time seemed to slow down as her eyes widened, immediately fixing on my completely naked body.

”Oh, uh, Tiffany!” I stammered. This was definitely not how I wanted our day at the theme park to start.

She quickly covered her face with her hands, her embarrassment evident in the flush that spread across her cheeks.

”Kyaa!” she screamed, her voice loud enough to wake the entire neighborhood.

Okay, maybe not that loud, but it felt like it.

I winced.

”Iʼm so sorry!” I blurted out, mentally kicking myself for not being more careful.

I had to think fast!

My first instinct was to use my Demonʼs Clothes skill. But then it hit me—I hadnʼt told Tiffany about my demon identity yet.

So, I quickly wrapped the towel around my waist, hoping it would suffice as a makeshift cover.

”We will talk later!” I said as I dashed into the bathroom.

I happily threw the responsibility of explaining what happened to Celia. Hopefully, she could handle it without any cringe-worthy moments.

As I dashed into the bathroom, trying to collect myself, I could hear muffled voices coming from the other side of the door. Celia was doing her best to explain away the unexpected and slightly embarrassing situation.

”Sorry, he likes to sleep naked sometimes,” Celia said matter-of-factly, as if it was the most normal thing in the world.

I could almost picture her nonchalant expression.

On the other side of the door, Tiffanyʼs voice carried a mix of shock and disbelief.

”Wait, heʼs walking around naked like that?” she asked, her surprise evident.

”Yeah,” Celia replied with a casual shrug in her voice. ”He has zero embarrassment, so donʼt mind it.”

Tiffany shot a bewildered look at Celia.

”And you donʼt mind it?” she asked, clearly trying to wrap her head around the situation.

Celia just shrugged, oozing confidence.

”Iʼve lived with him since I was little, so Iʼm used to all of his antics,” she replied with a nonchalant grin.

Hearing her response, I couldnʼt help but feel the need to defend myself. I poked my head out of the bathroom, giving her my best annoyed face.

”Hey! I heard that!” I complained. ”Donʼt tarnish my reputation! Itʼs bad enough as it is!” I added before retreating back into the bathroom and closing the door behind me.

From the other side, I could hear Tiffany let out a small giggle.

”You guys are something else,” she remarked.

Celia chuckled as well.

”Oh, you have no idea,” she teased. ”Living with this guy is like having a never-ending adventure,” she said.

I rolled my eyes, knowing full well that Celia was exaggerating for effect. But I decided to ignore it.

The sound of running water drowned out the conversation outside the bathroom. It was probably for the best. I needed a moment to collect my thoughts after that embarrassing encounter.

Once I was done, I stepped out of the shower and grabbed a fluffy towel to dry myself off.

With a snap of my fingers, a dark aura enveloped my body. In an instant, I was clothed in a simple yet stylish shirt and jeans. It was a perfect outfit for a day at the theme park—or anywhere else, for that matter—because letʼs face it, my fashion sense still sucked.

”Iʼm ready!” I proudly announced as I stepped out of the bathroom.

A sheepish grin lingered on my lips, but my spirits were high. I was determined to put that awkward encounter behind me and focus on enjoying our day at the theme park.

However, when I emerged from the bathroom, I was met with a sight that took me by surprise. Instead of Tiffany and Celia, it was Ruby who greeted me.

”Ruby, what are you doing here?” I asked.𝘧𝓇𝑒𝑒𝑤ℯ𝑏𝓃𝘰𝑣ℯ𝘭.𝘤ℴ𝘮

She gave me a glare, her expression bordering on disappointment.

”And why are you wearing clothes? You should be out of the bathroom naked!” she complained, sounding a bit like a mischievous pixie.

I looked at Ruby.

Was it possible that she came because she heard Tiffanyʼs scream?

After all, Ruby was one of Mrs. Cleaʼs trusted hunters, and if something happened, she might have sent Ruby to check on us.

I frowned.

”I always wear clothes in the bathroom,” I quickly reasoned.

Without waiting for a response, I walked past her and headed toward the stairs. We had to get going if we wanted to make the most of our day at the theme park.

”Tch!” I heard Ruby click her tongue in annoyance and disappointment. It was clear that she had something on her mind, and I had a feeling she wouldnʼt let it go that easily.

”So, I just missed all the good stuff, huh?”

She moved to stand behind me, and I could feel her energy buzzing with curiosity.
