The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 1112: Joining the Tiamat Dragon Sect Chapter 1112: Joining the Tiamat Dragon Sect The rest of the Void Eclipse Dragons nodded as they heard the words of the Shadow Dragon.

They had all been briefed on the feats of the young scarlet dragon in the Shattered Peaks-how Cain had killed two Four-Winged Angels and defeated one with five wings.

Of course, stories were stories, but the immense soul force of the Void Eclipse Dragons allowed them to witness everything that occurred within the Tiamat Dragon Sect’s mainland.  The five Grand Elders had seen firsthand Cain’s battle against Celsar, and his skill, bravery, and sharp focus were evident.

He displayed wisdom and battle prowess far beyond that of a typical Dark Seed Legend.

Furthermore, his ability to perceive the Shadow Dragon’s presence proved to them all that Cain was special, showing a soul force and mental fortitude that could only come from a unique and powerful True Name.

The massive Ice Void Eclipse Dragon let out a low, rumbling roar, drawing the attention of everyone in the hall.

His voice boomed with authority as he declared, “Let us show the manners becoming of Grand Elders before proceeding.” The Grand Elders nodded in unison, each emanating a primal force that could bend reality itself.

Then, the Ice Void Eclipse Dragon continued, introducing himself and the others to Cain.

“I am Kryos, Lord of the Frozen Abyss,” he announced, his icy breath freezing the air around him.

He gestured toward the others.

“Beside me is Ignis, the Eternal Flame,” he indicated the massive, molten-red dragon radiating heat.

“Then we have Fanir, the Radiant Fire,” he pointed to the white-hot dragon of refined flame.

“And finally, Onyx, the Obsidian Titan,” nodded toward the black dragon that seemed fused to the earth itself.

“And I am Melisare, the Shadow of the World,” the Shadow Dragon introduced herself.

Her presence was mightier than all the others, and her aura commanding attention.

Kryos turned his focus back to Cain, his eyes sharp and piercing.

“Now, young one,” he said in a solemn tone, “tell us what you seek and what you are willing to give in return.” Cain’s eyes sharpened as he met the gaze of the Grand Elders.

Without hesitation, he responded, his voice echoing through the hall, “I seek power-the power to roam this world without burden, to stand above my enemies, and overcome any obstacle in my way.

I am willing to fight for it, to face any challenge, no matter how great!” Kryos let out a low hum, a slight smile tugging at his frosty lips as he sensed the determination and willpower in Cain’s eyes.

He glanced around the hall, silently conferring with the other Grand Elders.

They all nodded in agreement before Kryos turned back to Cain.

“We are willing to accept you into the Tiamat Sect,” Kryos declared, his voice firm and resonant, “and grant you access to our secret cultivation paths.

In return, you will lend your strength to our war effort against the Sun Church.” Kryos’ words carried a finality but also a hint of urgency.

Usually, joining the Tiamat Sect and gaining access to the Tiamat Dragon Path required decades of meritorious work, but with the looming war, things needed to be expedited.

Luckily, Cain’s past actions, including killing two Four-Winged Angels, proved his merit, so no one should have a problem.

Cain bowed his head respectfully.

“It would be a great honor to join the Tiamat Sect.” As he reached this point, his eyes flickered with caution.

“However, before I fully commit, I would like to know more about the Tiamat Dragon Path.” The room fell silent, the air thick with the weight of Cain’s words.

He knew his request could be seen as disrespectful, so he quickly added, “I know that the Archangel Path of the Sun Church requires sacrificing a piece of your soul for power, and I cannot follow such a path.

My soul is my own!” Kryos’ eyes narrowed, a sharp glint flashing within them.

Follow new episodes on the ””.

His gaze grew cold as he asked, “How do you know this?

The Sun Church keeps such details hidden, even from most of their own.” An immense pressure suddenly closed in around Cain, like a suffocating force blocking all escape paths.

However, Cain held Kryos’ gaze steadily before answering.

“I possess the ability to consume the souls of those I defeat, and in doing so, I gain their memories.” A ripple of awe passed through the Grand Elders as they exchanged glances.

The revelation struck them deeply, and for a moment, broad smiles appeared on their faces as they whispered among themselves.

Cain watched with a mix of curiosity and unease, noticing that even Zalgrim and Eldrick wore expressions of awe.

Before Cain could inquire further, Kryos muttered, “Truly fated…” He then raised his voice, addressing Cain with imposing authority.

“You have nothing to fear, young one.

The Dragon Empress Tiamat would never stoop so low as to demand you sacrifice your soul.

The Tiamat Dragon Path only requires your Dragon Inheritance, nothing more.

Your soul, your freedom, and your ego will remain your own.” Cain’s eyes lit up with relief and understanding as Kryos’ words sank in.

He desired power but would never accept the cost of his soul or freedom.

Fortunately, the Tiamat Sect did not follow the same twisted path as the Sun Church.

The ice dragon’s proclamation solidified the path before Cain-a path of immense power that would not require him to compromise his autonomy.

He glanced at the other Grand Elders, who all nodded in agreement, their expressions resolute.

“Then I will walk this path and fight alongside the Tiamat Sect, slaying the Angels that stand in my way,” Cain declared with conviction, his heart burning with a fierce desire to grow stronger.

Kryos’ icy lips curled into a small smile.

“Very well, young one.

I see your determination and feel your willpower.

I now welcome you to the Tiamat Sect.

As long as you fight according to the ideals of the Dragon Empress, we will stand by your side against the world itself!” “ROOOOOAAAAAARRRRRR!” Kryos unleashed a massive roar, his aura spreading throughout the sect.

The other Grand Elders followed suit, their combined power shaking the very foundations of the Tiamat Sect as they canonized Cain’s integration into their mighty order.
