My Youth Began With Him

Hong Kong-style Morning Tea.

“You guys should go home after breakfast. You must be exhausted after a night out.” Pudding looked at the others.

“What about you, Sister?” Qiao Tuantuan looked at Pudding.

“I’ll go to the office. I still have some work to do.”

“You didn’t sleep the whole night, you should go back and rest.” Qiao Yuanyuan persuaded.

“No, it’s a little urgent. You guys should go back.”

Unable to persuade Pudding, the other six drove back to South Hill Manor after breakfast.

Pudding, on the other hand, went straight to GK Headquarters. However, just as she was about to enter the company, she heard the front desk say, “Little President Qin, President Qin said that if you came, he wants you to go straight to his office.”

“Okay.”

Pudding nodded and took the elevator to the top floor.

In the president’s office.

Pudding saw her dad. Qin Chu was wearing a sapphire blue suit. Although he was old, he was still incredibly handsome. Qin Chu was probably the only person in the world who would be so handsome at this age.

If there was anyone more fatally attractive than him, it could only be his son, Qin Yuyao.

“Dad.”

Upon seeing her dad, Pudding’s gaze softened.

“Sit down.” Qin Chu waved his hand and flipped through the documents in his hand.

Then, the office door was opened again and two private doctors walked in.

“President Qin.”

“Check on my daughter’s leg. She’s injured,” Qin Chu said as he pointed at Pudding.

“Um… Daddy, I’m fine. It’s just a small injury.” Pudding was a little flustered. It was so early in the morning, and her father called two private doctors over. What was going on?

“President Qin, please let us take a look.”

Pudding looked up at the two private doctors and thought that her father was making a mountain out of a molehill.

However, seeing her father’s serious expression, she didn’t dare to reject him, afraid that he would get angry.

Pudding could only stretch out her leg for the two doctors to examine.

Qin Chu made a phone call, but Pudding didn’t know who he was calling.

She heard him say over the phone, “Bring the men over and smash the store.”

It was only a short sentence, but Pudding felt like it had something to do with her.

Seeing the anger on her father’s face, she was so scared that she didn’t dare to make a sound.

Five minutes later.

“How’s my daughter?” Qin Chu stood up and walked over.

“Little President Qin is fine. She was only injured by broken glass and it was disinfected in time. She was professionally bandaged, so the wound should be scabbed in three to four days.”

“Don’t we need to take an x-ray?” Qin Chu frowned.

Pudding: “…”

“We really don’t need to do that, President Qin. It is just a small injury.”

Qin Chu was silent for three seconds after hearing what the two private doctors said. Then, he nodded with a cold expression. “That’s all for now.”

The two private doctors quietly left the office after being tormented.

Only the father and daughter were left in the huge office.

Pudding was a little scared. She had never seen her father’s face so dark…

Especially because she was fighting…

Qin Chu didn’t say anything. He walked over to the water dispenser and fetched his daughter a cup of hot water.

“Did you eat anything this morning?”

“Yes.” Pudding bit her lip.

“You didn’t sleep last night, did you?”

“No….”

“Then go home and get some sleep. I’ll let Uncle Yang handle your work.”

“Dad, I’m sorry.”

Pudding lowered her head and apologized to Qin Chu like a child who had done something wrong.

Qin Chu’s heart softened upon seeing his daughter like this.

“Silly girl, why are you apologizing?”

“Dad, I got into a fight while I was out with my brothers and sisters, and accidentally hurt myself. It’s my fault for making you worry.” Pudding was obedient and felt guilty.

She knew that she had indeed made her father worried..
