My Youth Began With Him

“Thank you, Pudding.”

“Auntie Xiaowei, you should eat more. The food tonight is especially delicious.” Pudding smiled elegantly.

“Of course, I’ll eat a lot. Pudding…”

“Hm?”

“Have you… contacted Yunchu?” Jiang Xiaowei probed.

Pudding’s expression froze for a second before she smiled awkwardly. “Not yet, but I heard from my brother that they met in Germany not long ago. Yunchu seems to be quite busy.”

“The two of you grew up together. There’s nothing that can’t be resolved… In other words, even if there’s no possibility for you two to develop further, you’ll still be friends in the future, right?”

“Yes, Auntie. Yunchu and I… are friends no matter what.”

Pudding didn’t want to disappoint her parents. One could tell that Auntie Xiaowei had been very good to her all these years.

She was even more biased to her than Little Bean. Perhaps it was because she had already accepted that she and Yunchu were a couple.

Hence, she felt rather guilty about the current situation.

“Alright, let’s eat. We’ll talk about this later.”

Seeing Pudding’s attitude, Jiang Xiaowei felt like the two children still had a chance together.

After all, one could tell from the look in his son’s eyes that he couldn’t let go of her. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have suddenly returned home on the eve of her coming-of-age ceremony.

It was obvious how important Pudding’s coming of age ceremony was to him.

Liao Muchen listened to her and stayed in a corner. He didn’t attract Huo Mian’s attention or cause any trouble.

He sat quietly and ate his dinner. It was quite delicious.

Perhaps he was too engrossed that he did not notice the person behind him.

“Hey.”

A girl’s voice sounded behind him.

He turned around and was about to call out ‘Boss’ when he suddenly realized that this girl’s clothes were different from his boss’s. Her hairstyle was also different. On closer look, her temperament was also different.

“Oh, I know… You’re my boss’s sister.”

“Congratulations, you’ve got the answer.” Little Bean smiled and sat down next to Liao Muchen.

Liao Muchen had been in GK for quite some time now, but Little Bean, who was a gossipy person and a fanatic, rarely interacted with Liao Muchen.

It could even be said that this was the first time the two of them were meeting seriously.

Little Bean subconsciously didn’t want to meet this person because she was afraid that she would feel sad if she got reminded of Handsome Su.

Just like Pudding, Little Bean had deep feelings for Su Yu.

Pudding faced it sometimes, but Little Bean just wanted to run away.

Looking at Liao Muchen’s face from such a close distance, Little Bean realized that he really did have the charm of Handsome Su. In just three seconds, Little Bean felt a lump in her throat and lowered her head.

“What’s wrong? Are you in a bad mood?”

“Oh, no… It’s just that I have a lot of people coming to my house these days, so I’m a little tired.” Little Bean tried to keep her voice down.

“You really look like my boss.” Liao Muchen exclaimed.

“Of course, we’re twins. If we don’t look alike, how can we be twins?” Little Bean laughed.

“Your personality is different too. You’re more cheerful… My boss has a bitter and glum face every day… as if everyone owes her eight million yuan.” Liao Muchen bit his chopsticks and started to hack at the pudding.

“That’s not right. With my sister’s current wealth, owing her eight million yuan won’t make her angry. It’ll probably be eight hundred million yuan.”

Liao Muchen laughed as well…

“By the way, did my sister bring you here?” Little Bean asked casually. She wanted to know if Pudding had done it on purpose.

Unexpectedly, Liao Muchen shook his head. “No, I came here shamelessly. My boss had no choice but to let me in.”

“Why did you do that?” Little Bean was surprised.

“Because I like my boss…” He was still joking, but Little Bean was even more shocked at his words..
