My Youth Began With Him

“Are you sure you don’t want to leave?”

“I’m sure.”

“But I just heard from my aunt that she and Uncle Tang are going to eat some delicious desserts… and there’s your favorite chocolate.”

“Really?”

Little Bean was skeptical when she heard the mention of food.

“If you keep hesitating, they’ll eat up all the food. Don’t say I didn’t tell you.” Pudding used her trump card.

“Damn… What took you so long to say this? Daddy, let’s not talk anymore, I’m going to find something to eat.”

Upon hearing that her auntie and the others were secretly eating good food, Little Bean gave it her all.

Like lightning, she left…

Then, Pudding took the phone and looked at Daddy.

“Daddy… we all miss you.”

“Yes, Daddy misses you guys too. Did you have fun?”

“Yes!”

“That’s good. If you guys are happy, Daddy will be happy too.”

“Daddy, it’s four in the morning in China right now. You should be tired… Don’t video call us now, go to bed early.”

Pudding knew the time difference and was smart.

She also felt sorry that her daddy had to call them so late at night.

“Don’t worry, Daddy’s not sleepy…”

“Daddy, did you drink?”

“How can you tell? Is Daddy blushing?”

This was the first time Qin Chu had done something so cute. Facing the camera, he touched his flawless face.

“No. I just felt something wrong with your eyes.”

“Do you have to be so observant? I can’t hide anything from you…”

“Didn’t Mommy tell you not to drink too much? It’ll hurt your liver.”

Pudding scolded Qin Chu like a little adult.

“I was just sipping a little and didn’t drink much,” Qin Chu explained guiltily.

“Is everything okay at home?”

“It’s good.”

“What about aunt? Is there any improvement over there?”

“Not yet. I went to the hospital today. Your aunt is still the same.”

Thinking about Bella made Qin Chu feel guilty again.

He hoped that after he found Mian this time, he would have a chance to discuss whether he should operate on Bella again.

He wanted to see if there was a way to salvage the situation.

“Pudding, Daddy has something to tell you.”

Qin Chu thought about it and decided to tell Pudding.

“Okay, Daddy.”

“Apart from all the assets in the domestic bank account, Daddy also opened an account at the Swiss bank. The bank account’s name is yours and your sister’s. The password is your birthday. The other password is your mommy’s birthday. When you withdraw the money, you need to enter your fingerprints.”

“Why would Daddy tell me this?” Pudding asked curiously.

“Daddy wants to leave you guys some assets, but you guys are still young. If anything happens to Daddy and Mommy, the two of you won’t be able to deal with such a large sum of money. So, I saved that money for you until you’re 18 years old. That means you can’t take it before that, but don’t worry. I bought a few hundred million yuan trust fund in Hong Kong. They’ll pay for your tuition and living expenses. The person in charge of this is my current legal team, and the chief lawyer is Lawyer Zhang Zhongmin. You know him, right? The one that came to our house to play chess with Grandpa the last time. Remember to look for him. He has a contact number. You can ask Uncle Yang for it later. I’ve already divided the company’s shares into five. Other than you and your sister, there’s also your uncle and aunt… The rest are for the other shareholders,” Qin Chu said quickly.

“Daddy, why are you telling me this? What happened?” Pudding felt that her daddy was too weird today.
