My Youth Began With Him

“Then what about you…?”

Now that he had settled down, Shen Mingxi was worried about Su Yu’s personal life.

Years had passed and the famous magnates in their circle had all married; some of them had even divorced twice.

But Su Yu was still alone…

“I’m fine. It feels free to be single. It has its benefits.” Su Yu had a healthy attitude in this issue and didn’t want to force himself to do anything.

“Mr. Su, some of my friends know single women of good family background and excellent personal qualities. Would you…”

Su Yu interrupted him, “No. Feelings can’t be forced. I’m fine. I know you guys have my best interest in your hearts, but I’m doing well. Maybe, my destined one hasn’t appeared yet.”

Obviously, Su Yu didn’t want to talk about it.

“But…”

“Come on, Bro, let’s drink… and not talk about it.”

Hearing Su Yu’s words, Shen Mingxi couldn’t continue the topic of introducing girls to him.

When they came out, it was midnight.

Shen Mingxi’s chauffeur drove him back to his house.

Meanwhile, An drove to buy RU-21 and Su Yu waited for him for a little while at the gate…

The early winter in the north was quite cold and the puddles on the street froze to ice during the night.

On the chilly night, Su Yu dressed in a pale Versace coat and looked lonely.

A paparazzi who was waiting at the gate to take pictures of a well-known director cheating on his wife saw Su Yu and took a picture of him.

One hour later, Su Yu was on the most searched hashtag on Weibo.

The title was “Su Yu Standing in Street in Midnight”.

Clicking on the title, one would see the picture in which Su Yu stood there with his head lowered; with a lighter in one hand and a cigarette between the fingers of the other hand, he looked at the side of the street, looking lost and lonely.

This picture was not staged but the angle flattered Su Yu. Su Yu’s handsomeness had always been the hottest topic among his female fans.

Messages flooded his Weibo page.

His fans showed their love and sympathy to their idol.

“I want to carry Su Yu away. We won’t have sex or hype ourselves. Thank you.”

“Mr. Su, don’t cry. You still have us.”

“Mr. Su, I like the new performer in your company. You can have a try with her. Hahahaha.”

“Mr. Su, are you going to remain single for Dr. Huo forever?”

“Su Yu, I love you. Marry me.”

“Su Yu is unmarried and without a girlfriend for a long time. Maybe he’s gay.”

The few haters would be trashed viciously the moment they appeared.

When An drove back to pick up Su Yu, Su Yu was still oblivious of all these comments.

When some friends sent him WeChat messages, he knew he was on the most searched hashtag again.

Resigned, he logged into his Weibo account and read some of the comments. Shrugging, he decided to ignore them.

Then he happened to see Han Yueyao’s message and replied, “Do your best tomorrow.”

He had thought Han Yueyao was asleep now, but to his surprise, she replied instantly, “President Su, how much did you pay for this most searched hashtag?”

“Get out of here. Do I need to buy it? I only stood there, and it went viral.”

Han Yueyao chuckled. She looked at Su Yu’s lonely figure in the photo and felt a lump rose in her throat.

She typed the words in her PM column, “Su Yu, from now on, I will guard you, a great guy; I, Han Yueyao, will guard you.”
