My Youth Began With Him

3609 Huo Mian“s Birthday Wish 19

“Mhm.” Su Xiaoxiao nodded.

Once again, Wei Ying sank into indecision. She didn’t want anything to do with Shen Mingxi anymore. In the past, her brother Wei Liao kept telling her to end things with Shen Mingxi, but Wei Ying wouldn’t listen. However, after that psycho Huo Yanyan came back, even Jiang Xiaowei told her to give up.

That was why Wei Ying hadn’t seen Shen Mingxi in such a long time. During this time, the latter sent WeChat messages to Wei Ying a couple of times, but her replies were very vague and emotionless.

As smart as Shen Mingxi was, he understood what was going on immediately. Therefore, it had been a week since they even talked to each other.

Wei Ying wondered if this was the true end of them…

Plus, Ye Zhaoyang had been courting her for a while, so she agreed to come out with them tonight.

To her surprise, Su Xiaoxiao saw Shen Mingxi waiting outside. Wei Ying’s heart wavered again.

“Ying, you don’t know what to do, do you?”

“It’s complicated between us,” Wei Ying sighed.

“Sister Wei Ying, I think if you like someone, you should tell them. If you swallow it for some reason, you’ll regret it in the future. There’s no medicine for regret, and it’s not a good feeling. I don’t know what happened between you guys, but you should give him a chance if you still have feelings for him. You shouldn’t let him get away like this.”

Su Xiaoxiao was still young, so she was fearless. Her words sounded like that of an adventurous child.

Wei Ying listened quietly. “I…” She wasn’t sure what to say.

“You can do this! I’m going back to my friends, I’ll talk to you later!” Su Xiaoxiao then got up and left.

After some thought, Wei Ying clenched her fists. Finally, she picked up her purse and headed towards the door.

“Ying, where are you going?” Ye Zhaoyang immediately walked up to her.

“I need some air.”

“I’ll go with you…”

“It’s fine, I want to be alone.” Then, Wei Ying left.

Ye Zhaoyang’s expression became complicated as he watched her leave.

“Young Master Ye, Ms. Wei still hasn’t slept with you yet?” someone said.

“Yeah, it’s not like she’s a virgin, she was once married! I bet she’s easy, are you not working hard enough?”

“Shut the f*ck up.”

For some reason, Ye Zhaoyang’s angry suddenly bubbled, and his friends immediately changed the subject.

When Wei Ying arrived downstairs, she saw Shen Mingxi pacing back and forth the sidewalk. His black Porsche was parked off to the side.

Shen Mingxi had a cigarette in between his fingers, and on the ground was five or six cigarette butts.

Upon seeing this, Wei Ying’s heart jerked. After a deep breath, she walked up to him as if nothing had happened. “Mingxi, why are you here?”

“I, I… I came with some colleagues, they just left. You’re here as well?” he lied awkwardly. It was obvious that Shen Mingxi knew that Wei Ying was here.

“Mhm.” Wei Ying nodded.

“Are you cold? Why aren’t you wearing a jacket?” Shen Mingxi frowned at Wei Ying’s short-sleeved dress. He took off his black and white jacket and put it over her shoulders.

Then, silence.

“I…”

“I…”

“You first.” Shen Mingxi smiled. He looked tired.
