My Youth Began With Him

“I don’t understand. It’s something between you and me; it has nothing to do with killing Amy.”

“Because she caused it,” Lu Yan said firmly.

“But even without her, there are still many problems between us. You just don’t see them,” Qiao Fei said calmly.

“You mean… I’m blind?” Lu Yan was furious.

“I didn’t say that.”

“Qiao Fei, how dare you? You are so bold to me just because I like you?” Lu Yan was enraged.

“I’m not.” No matter how furious Lu Yan was, Qiao Fei still remained calm, which infuriated Lu Yan even more.

“Save your breath. Just tell me if you’ll kill her or not!”

“You’ll forgive me after I kill her? If I don’t, you won’t forgive me?” Qiao Fei looked at Lu Yan questioningly.

“What do you think?” Lu Yan’s tone and attitude were very hard.

“If I kill her, will you marry me?” Qiao Fei asked.

“It has nothing to do with our marriage. If you kill her, I’ll believe the problem you have with me doesn’t stem from this woman,” Lu Yan said.

“So, even if I kill her, there won’t be any progress in our relationship, right?”

“What progress do you want?” Lu Yan looked at his eyes quietly.

“Forget it.”

“What are you going to do?” Lu Yan noticed Qiao Fei had no intention of pulling the trigger.

“I won’t kill her because I don’t want to kill innocent people. There’s nothing between me and Amy. Killing her will only prove that I’m a narrow-minded man,” Qiao Fei said.

“Bullshit,” Lu Yan cursed.

“If you don’t believe me, there’s nothing I can say.”

“So you’d rather break up with me than kill this woman, right?” Lu Yan pointed her finger at Amy’s head furiously.

“I don’t want to break up with you; I don’t want to kill her either.”

“Qiao Fei, who do you think you are? The sun? Even the earth must rotate around you? If you don’t kill her, then get out. I don’t want to see you again,” Lu Yan issued the ultimatum.

Hearing her words, Amy took the gun from Qiao Fei’s hand and pointed it at her own head.

“Young Master Qiao, it’s all my fault. Please don’t fight with the boss. Everything will be fine after I die…”

Then, she pulled the trigger.

Lu Yan watched her coldly but Qiao Fei knocked the gun out of her hand with a small rock when Amy pulled the trigger.

“Don’t be silly. Your death will achieve nothing. Even if you died one hundred times, it wouldn’t solve the problems between me and her,” said Qiao Fei.

“Well, well! Someone can’t bear to see her die. You’re the hero rescuing a damsel in distress?” Lu Yan sneered.

“If you say so, I don’t want to explain anymore… I feel tired.”

“Don’t play noble and cool with me.”

“Yan, think of your sister Mian and her husband. They went through so much but are still together because they trust each other. Look at us… You claimed you like me, but when did you trust me unconditionally?”

“I’d trust you if you didn’t do anything to betray me. But you had an affair with my subordinate behind my back,” Lu Yan railed at him in fury.

“I told you I didn’t.”

“But I don’t believe you.” Lu Yan continued to yell.

“Well, well! Look at you. No matter what I do, you’re convinced that I betrayed you. So…what’s the meaning of it?”

“You mean you’ll break up with me?” Lu Yan’s heart sank.
