My Youth Began With Him

“Huo Siqian, let Huo Mian go and I promise we’ll let you go without holding you to it,” Gao Ran tried to negotiate with him.

Huo Siqian didn’t spare him a glance.

“You have no right to negotiate with me.”

“Chu, you talk to him.” Gao Ran glanced at Qin Chu.

“He doesn’t have the right, either, because I’m in control. I told you not to negotiate with me. I only want Huo Mian.”

“Impossible,” Su Yu refused without hesitation.

They could give him anything other than Huo Mian.

Although Huo Mian wasn’t his wife, like Qin Chu, he loved her deeply.

“Don’t waste time on him. You guys must come up with a solution. It’s very cold here and my sister-in-law is pregnant; she can’t take it any longer if this situation continued.” Tang Chuan was anxious.

Qin Chu glanced at Gao Ran and said something to him in a low voice.

Nodding, Gao Ran backed off silently out of Huo Siqian’s vision.

“Huo Siqian, you must let Huo Mian go. After all, she’s your family and shares your surname Huo,” Wei Liao tried to dissuade him.

“It’s our family business and doesn’t need any interference from an outsider. Qin Chu, I didn’t expect you’d be so lame that you brought so many people with you to rescue your wife. If I knew how useless you were, I’d never have allowed Mian to marry you… Never…” Huo Siqian mocked.

Suddenly, Huo Mian slapped Huo Siqian’s face.

More accurately, she had swung her hands onto his face because she was handcuffed by Huo Siqian.

Not able to draw her hands out, she raised both hands abruptly and swung them at him with all her strength.

Caught off guard, Huo Siqian was hit so hard that his face reddened; it was either scratched by the handcuff or hit by Huo Mian’s fists.

“Don’t mock Qin Chu! No one has the right to insult him. He’s the nicest person in the world to me…” Enraged, Huo Mian warned Huo Siqian.

“Sister Mian, you’re being rude again. Don’t mess with me…” Huo Siqian wiped the corner of his mouth with a smile.

“Mian, calm down…” Qin Chu was anxious about Huo Mian’s safety.

“Are you playing a love scene before me? Good… Since we’re playing, let’s do it properly.”

That said, Huo Siqian turned around and picked up a glass of red wine.

“Come on, let’s do a link-arm-drink…”

“Get off…” Huo Mian struggled with all her strength.

“You don’t want to drink? Very good. I’ll help you…” Huo Siqian pinched Huo Mian’s chin with one hand and poured red wine into her mouth with the other hand.

“Huo Mian…” Su Yu was heart-broken.

Qin Chu didn’t utter a sound, but tears flashed in his eyes.

“Huo Siqian, fu*k you… Bast*rd…” Tang Chuan stomped his foot and cursed.

“What a f*cking psycho…” Wei Liao had never seen such a crazy man before.

“Ahem…”

When the wine was forced down her throat, Huo Mian choked and began to cough violently.

She felt she was out of breath and would suffocate.

“Huo Siqian, don’t touch her…” Qin Chu clenched his fists.

“What? Can’t bear to see her suffer? Then beg me… If you kneel and beg me nicely, I might show some mercy…” Huo Siqian tossed the empty wine glass onto the ground, looking overbearing.

“Qin Chu… don’t listen to him.” Huo Mian felt it was difficult to breathe, and her voice sounded weak.
