My Youth Began With Him

Huo Yanyan looked like she was in pain. After some hesitation, she started recording. She opened her eyes widely and stared at Huo Siqian.

She firmly asserted, “Qin Chu, I will haunt you even if I become a ghost for what you have done to me…”

Huo Siqian filmed it on his phone, and he had an evil grin on his face.

Huo Yanyan soon felt dizzy and she fainted to the ground.

“Mommy, mommy… What’s wrong? Mommy, wake up!” Tiantian wanted to rush over but a man blocked her way.

“Boss, the meds are probably kicking in…” Ah-Cheng said.

“Yeah. Take her to the busiest street and just leave her there.”

“What about the kid?” Ah-Cheng asked.

“Tie her up with rocks and throw her into the sea…” Huo Siqian said.

The men in the room were all silent after Huo Siqian said this.

“Why look so down?” Huo Siqian glared at Ah-Cheng and asked.

“Boss, Huo Yanyan deserves this but the kid’s innocent…”

Ever since Ah-Cheng adopted a child, he began loving children, especially those that didn’t come from well-off families or were orphans.

“Ah-Cheng, we’re not a charity. We’re the bad guys. We were the bad guys, we still are, and we will always be… This is our path…” Huo Siqian said.

Ah-Cheng listened quietly and did not dare to refute Huo Siqian because he knew what his boss was capable of.

“Go and make sure you take care of it well. I hope we’re done with Huo Yanyan from now on. Also, the battle with Qin Chu has just begun,” Huo Siqian said. Then he threw his cigarette butt onto the ground and stepped on it. He turned around without a word and left.

“Big Brother Ah-Cheng, if you don’t have the heart to do it, we can do it for you.” The other subordinates saw the look on Ah-Cheng’s face so they volunteered.

“No. You guys take Huo Yanyan to the city center and leave the rest to me.”

“Okay.”

Then, Huo Yanyan, who was drugged, was put on a van towards the city center.

Ah-Cheng drove the little girl towards the sea.

Tiantian’s arms and legs were tied and her mouth was taped shut.

However, you could still hear her crying. Ah-Cheng was able to see from his rear-view mirror the tears that were coming down from her face.

She was full of despair.

After getting off the car, Ah-Cheng picked her up and ripped off the tape.

Tiantian immediately dropped onto her knees and begged Ah-Cheng, “Mister, please save my mommy!”

Ah-Cheng was shocked because he thought she would beg him not to kill her. But instead, she was worried about her mother. He was touched.

“Mister, please… My mommy has been going through a few rough years. My father’s a jerk. He never cared about us… Mommy’s a sad person. I don’t want her to die.”

“She won’t die…” Ah-Cheng slowly uttered.

“What about me?”

Ah-Cheng was silent…

“I heard that big bad guy tell you to throw me into the sea.”

Ah-Cheng remained silent…

“Mister, I’m scared of water. I can’t swim. Can you not throw me into the sea? If you want to kill me, can you just shoot me? I heard that you can die very quickly and won’t feel much pain from that.”

Each of the words uttered by Tiantian was like a knife piercing into Ah-Cheng’s heart.

He was indifferent about whatever Huo Siqian did before but after betraying Huo Siqian and joining Qin Chu’s side, he suddenly realized what a terrible person he was.

“Mister, you can kill me but please don’t kill my mommy. If you have a chance, please tell her that Tiantian loves her and doesn’t hate her…” she said in her childish voice.

Her eyes were pure. Tiantian wasn’t as smart as the twins; she was just an ordinary child.

“Oh, also, please tell Uncle Shen that I love him too,” Tiantian added.

Ah-Cheng slowly pulled out his gun… He looked inexplicably sad.
