My Youth Began With Him

“Okay.”

Huo Mian thought Qin Ning was going to discuss Tang Chuan with her.

To her surprise, Qin Ning dragged her to the pantry and said, “Mian, I suddenly realized a big problem.”

“What problem?” Huo Mian became more serious as Qin Ning seemed very serious.

“My nieces must have been scared to death when they were kidnapped.”

“So?” Huo Mian waited for Qin Ning to continue.

“So I want to take them back to the States to find an elite psychologist to look at them.”

Huo Mian: “…”

“But I’m worried you and Chu won’t agree. That’s why I wanted to ask for your opinion first,” Qin Ning said seriously.

“Uh… Um… Ning, listen to me first, okay?” Huo Mian tried to comfort Qin Ning.

“Yeah, Sis-in-Law?”

“First, your brother would never agree to it so you don’t need to discuss it with him. After the incident, he’s been relying on our daughters more and more. Every day after work, the first thing he wants to do is see Pudding and Little Bean. Second, this isn’t the first time they were kidnapped. We were worried that they would be mentally traumatized last time when they were kidnapped by Huo Siyi so I got Xiaowei to conduct a psychoanalysis test for them. Xiaowei tested them three times. What results do you think they got?”

“What?” Qin Ning asked curiously.

“Not only were they not traumatized, but they’re also becoming more and more open-minded and flexible in thinking… Xiaowei said that the two didn’t have any sense of trauma, and instead, they regarded this kidnapping experience as a wilderness survival test. Pudding was especially keen on this as she had secretly summarized where she had performed well and where she could improve.”

“Oh my god… Are you joking with me?” Qin Ning said with shock.

“Do you think I would joke about this?” Huo Mian sighed.

“What about this time? Did you get them tested? I heard Little Bean hurt her head while she was kidnapped. She was also hit by that kidnapper. She must have been scared to death!” Qin Ning said worriedly.

“This time, they both reflected in their diaries. Pudding thought that this was a good chance to improve Little Bean’s negotiation skills.”

“Oh my god… Really?” Qin Ning couldn’t believe what she heard.

“The diaries are in the drawers in their room. I recommend you go check it out if you have time. I don’t think we need to get them tested at all this time. They eat well, sleep well, and look extremely confident. They even said they made a good strategic step, saying that with their daddy, they were able to carry out a plan that would torture a b*tch…”

Qin Ning: “…”

“So do you think they need psychoanalysis? I’m worried that the doctor who conducts the test for them will be tortured to death…”

“Hahaha, Sis-in-Law, you’re so funny. Who would say that about her own daughters?” Qin Ning laughed.

“No, you’re wrong. I’m not exaggerating. I’m just stating a fact.”

“Ah, okay. What should we do about my nieces? They’re like little fairies.” Qin Ning smiled.

“Yeah, so you don’t need to worry about them.”

“Are you sure you gave birth to two little princesses? From what I see, you gave birth to two Sun Wukongs. Haha…” (Editor’s note: Sun Wukong is the Chinese monkey king.)

“No, you’re wrong. Even Sun Wukong isn’t that energetic. They’re only three now. I don’t even know what they’ll turn into when they get older,” Huo Mian said as she covered her face with her hands.

Suddenly, Huo Mian’s phone rung…

Huo Mian picked it up. The man on the other side of the phone said, “Huo Mian, can you come over? They got into a fight.”
