My Youth Began With Him

Chapter 2486 A Setup within a Setup, a Mystery within a Mystery (6)

“Eh… if you say so then I really don’t know how to start.”

Huo Mian just looked at this simple and innocent Su Yu, and she suddenly didn’t dare to start speaking.

“Aiyah just say it! I won’t be mad,” he said. What Su Yu was really thinking was, ‘When did I ever get mad at you?’

“Really? I didn’t study much, don’t trick me!” Huo Mian didn’t seem to believe him.

“It’s true. Just say it. Speak up,” said Su Yu as he was getting impatient and started rushing.

“Eh… So here it is. There are in fact a lot of good girls who are single in South Side, including scholars who have super high education backgrounds, goddess girls with gorgeous looks, and cute girls who have high IQs as well as those with good family backgrounds. I did some analysis… There’s an excellent female anesthesiologist from the Anesthesia Department. She’s new here and it is said that she has a pretty good family background and she’s very hard-working as well. What’s most important is that her face looks like a superstar. Let me think… Oh, she looks like that superstar, Liu Yifei, so beautiful but also pure like a goddess. There are lots of male doctors going after her, but she rejected them all.

I guess she’s also a girl with personality. So I just want to see, are you interested in meeting her?”

After Huo Mian carefully explained it, Su Yu immediately understood.

Huo Mian wanted to introduce a girlfriend to him. This day had finally come after all.

After hearing it, Su Yu remained silent and continued eating with his head down, which made Huo Mian even more nervous.

When she saw Su Yu, she suddenly thought about what Little Bean had said before.

If she were looking out for Su Yu, then she shouldn’t keep Su Yu single and should introduce some good girls to him if possible. But just because of Su Yu’s temperament, she was worried that he would just get mad if she did it. That was why she told him what her goal was carefully.

“You… are you mad?” Huo Mian asked carefully.

Su Yu picked up a napkin on the side and wiped his mouth elegantly, then he looked up at Huo Mian and said, “Mad? Why would I be mad? You really think I’m that petty?”

“No, of course not. I’m just worried that you might think too much and think I’m…”

Think you’re what? Finish it…” Su Yu looked at Huo Mian.

Huo Mian felt more awkward. “Think I’m being nosy.”

“Nosy? Why? You are definitely not. You are looking out for me and introducing girls to me. It’s great.”

But out of the blue, Huo Mian started feeling a little sad after hearing what Su Yu said.

“Su Yu, I just…”

“But Mian, are you sure such a good girl is not a lesbian?” said Su Yu suddenly, which made Huo Mian unsure about how to respond.

“Ha, why are you being so serious. I was just joking,” laughed Su Yu.

“I’m really just looking out for you, so…” Huo Mian immediately wanted to explain.

“I know, Mian. No need to explain. I’ve known you for so long and I really understand you. I know you will never do anything to hurt me,” said Su Yu, looking serious.

Huo Mian immediately nodded, “Yes, if that’s how you think, I’m relieved.”

“Nie Lingxuan also looked for you before, right?” asked Su Yu.

“You’re talking about Xixi’s sister? She seems to be a good person. At least, I don’t think she’s the same type of person as Zhao Qingya, Jian Tong, and Mo Xue’er,” said Huo Mian objectively.

“Despite this, I still don’t like her.”

“I know. That’s why I want to see if you would be interested in meeting some girls from our hospital； said Huo Mian word by word.

“Mian, if I agreed to it, would you be happy?” asked Su Yu lovingly.
