My Youth Began With Him

“Su Yu, you’re finally here…” It was the first time that Jian Tong called Su Yu by his full name.

Her eyes were filled with hatred; she could never forget that Su Yu had asked her to kill herself.

“Jian Tong, stop while you still can… we can talk about this. Let Huo Mian go first.”

Huo Mian’s safety was Su Yu’s bottom line.

When he arrived at the rooftop, there stood Jian Tong in a hospital gown, her face wrapped in white bandages, her hands wielding sharp scissors.

The scissor was pressed up against Huo Mian’s neck. Her blood had already dried as it had been awhile.

Huo Mian was also dressed in thin layers. Because the hospital was heated, she only had a thin shirt.

On top of that, she had on nothing more than a white lab coat.

Standing outside for 20-something minutes in biting temperatures, the two women looked like they were freezing to death. Jian Tong’s shivering hands, however, showed no signs of letting go.

Plus, no one else dared to walk forward. Behind Jian Tong was a 12-floor drop. Any movement would send both women to their dooms.

Hearing Su Yu’s words, Jian Tong burst out into a fit of laughter. “Hahaha, now you want to talk? Isn’t it a little bit late? Su Yu, what did you say to me when I begged you? You were stone cold. You wanted me dead! You wanted me to kill myself and you even threatened me with my family. How ruthless can you be?”

“Asking you to kill yourself… he said that because of the heinous things you did! Jian Tong, stop blaming other people for your own mistakes. In this world, not everyone is your mother and will spoil you wherever you go. When you’re wrong, no one’s allowed to talk about it but when someone wrongs you, you remember it for the rest of your life?! What kind of logic is that?” Huo Mian couldn’t help but interject.

“Stupid b1tch, shut your mouth! Don’t make me kill you right now!” Agitated, Jian Tong was now exerting even more force onto the scissors.

Huo Mian felt the sting in her neck…

She continued to mock, however, “If you really wanted me dead, you would’ve killed me already. You wouldn’t have waited for Su Yu to show up. Making him come here is your way of saving yourself. I’m telling you, calm down, you don’t want to die either, right? Jian Tong, every action has a consequence. If you don’t want to die, stop what you’re doing right now. If you continue, you will suffer immensely.”

Huo Mian could tell that Jian Tong didn’t want to die. On the contrary, she did all of this because she wanted to live.

Jian Tong hated the fact that Huo Mian could read her like a book. She immediately turned hysterical.

“Huo Mian, shut your mouth! I hate your sanctimonious face… It’s as if you know everything there is to know. If you’re so great, why are you living such a crap life? Your step-father died because of you, your husband got into a plane crash because of you… Su Yu turned from an arrogant man into an idiot because of you… Do you really think you’re all that? You’re nothing but a whore, a low life, a b1tch!” Jian Tong spewed out every hateful word she knew.

Huo Mian remained calm because she was simply unafraid.

Although Jian Tong had lost her senses, Huo Mian knew that killing her wasn’t Jian Tong’s goal.

The woman simply wanted a way out from Su Yu.

“Mian… stop talking.” Su Yu was afraid for Huo Mian’s life. He didn’t want her to continue angering Jian Tong.

“Mian… Mian… Su Yu, how much of a loser can you be? She has a husband! You’re not her husband!” Jian Tong glared at Su Yu.

“Jian Tong, what do you want? Make your demands. Stop wasting time.” Su Yu looked at Jian Tong calmly.

“Simple. I want a one billion dollar in traveler’s cheque, my passport, and a helicopter with a pilot. I need to leave here as fast as possible.”
