My Youth Began With Him

She regretted that she didn’t stand in front of the stall…

She regretted how impatient she was and regretted taking the call from the company…

She should have been more alert. Then her children wouldn’t have been kidnapped right before her eyes… The worst part was that she didn’t even know her children were kidnapped and just stood there like an idiot.

Qin Chu, on the other hand, called Gao Ran anxiously.

“President Qin, have you come back from vacation?” Gao Ran sounded happy when he picked up the call.

“Listen to me closely. I want you to immediately look into the whole city’s traffic cameras… Look for a car with the license plate A65288. It was driving from the airport. Also, lock down the whole city so this car can’t leave…”

“What’s the matter, Bro?” Gao Ran was very confused.

“My daughters were kidnapped.”

“What?” Gao Ran was dumbfounded. “Didn’t you guys just come back from the U.S.?”

“Yes. It happened at the airport.”

“When?”

“Just now.” Qin Chu sounded distressed.

“Okay. I’ll look into it right away. Stay calm. You need to remain calm now!”

“I know.” Qin Chu nodded.

“Is Huo Mian okay?” Gao Ran sounded worried.

Usually, the mother was the one that took things like this the worst…

“Mian… she-” When Qin Chu turned around, the expression on his face changed drastically.

Huo Mian was swaying back and forth and seemed like she was going to faint…

Qin Chu immediately hung up and went over to support her.

“Mian…”

Huo Mian felt the world go blank and lost consciousness…

Qin Chu immediately called an ambulance for Huo Mian…

Then, he called Gao Ran again for an update, overworking himself to find out where his daughters went.

– At the headquarters of Imperial Star Entertainment –

Since Su Yu video chatted with the twins every day, he knew that this was the day they were coming home.

He missed them very much and was waiting for them to come home so he could take them over to his place for dinner. This was also a direct order from his grandpa as he had not seen the twins for a long time and the Su Family missed them dearly.

However, he heard nothing.

Su Yu was worried so he sent Pudding a WeChat message, “Pudding, are you home yet?”

He waited for a long time but still didn’t hear back…

Finally, a little embarrassed, Su Yu sent Huo Mian a message asking, “Are you guys home yet? My parents and grandpa miss them a lot, I wanted to bring them home for dinner.”

He waited for a while, but he immediately felt that something was wrong as he never received a response.

Even if the twins didn’t respond, Huo Mian should.

She was an efficient person and tended to immediately respond to messages.

After ten minutes, Su Yu called because he was sick of waiting.

Qin Chu had just taken care of Huo Mian and was now speaking to the doctor.

Just then, he received Su Yu’s call as he was holding onto Huo Mian’s phone.

When he saw the caller ID, he hesitated for a few seconds but still picked up.

“Hello?”

When Su Yu heard Qin Chu’s voice, he felt a bit awkward.

“Qin Chu?” Su Yu asked as he wasn’t sure.

“Yeah, it’s me.”

“Where’s Huo Mian?”

“She’s at the hospital.”

“In the hospital? What’s wrong?”

“She fainted…”

“Why would she suddenly faint? Didn’t you guys just came back from the States?” Su Yu was worried.

“Yeah.”

“Then what happened? Is she too tired from the trip?” Su Yu asked with care.

“Su Yu, my daughters are missing…” Qin Chu uttered each word clearly.

He knew Su Yu loved the twins as much as he did so he felt an obligation to tell Su Yu the truth.

“What did you say?” Su Yu was very confused.

“When we landed at the airport, the kids went to the washroom. We were tricked and Pudding and Little Bean were abducted… We’re looking for them now. Mian couldn’t take it and she fainted.” Qin Chu sounded very serious.

“Abducted? Are you sure they’re not playing hide-and-seek with you?” Su Yu stood up and his face turned pale.
