My Youth Began With Him

“After all, more people, more power… Your personal abilities are limited.”

“But… why should I believe you? How do I know that you’re not on Huo Mian’s side trying to set me up?”

Song Yishi was very clever and obviously didn’t believe what Huo Siqian was saying…

“I know you’re a smart woman who can analyze the situation for yourself. First, I am not a blood relative of Huo Mian. She is an illegitimate child and I am adopted. Second, the fight over Huo Corporation’s stock rights has been intense. I am more interested in her stocks, but unfortunately, she has been holding onto them tightly and won’t give them up. She and Qin Chu are even working together to defeat me, which made me very unhappy… Third, personally, I don’t like Qin Chu, so I don’t want him to obtain the things he wants. So… I’d rather ruin Huo Mian than let her stay with Qin Chu… In short, if they are doing well, my heart will feel unease…”

Upon hearing what Huo Siqian said, Song Yishi looked at him with doubt.

The two of them stayed silent for a while…

In the end, Song Yishi couldn’t help but break the silence. “So, do you have any ideas yet on how to break them up?” she asked.

“Ideas… Of course I do.”

“What is it?”Song Yishi asked anxiously.

Huo Siqian looked around and said in a low voice, “Miss Song, there are too many people here. Too many cooks spoil the broth. How about this, after this is over, I will drive you home and we can talk more in the car…”

Song Yishi thought about his proposal and hesitated for a few seconds before finally nodding her head. “Okay then.”

Half an hour later, Song Yishi ran out of patience and announced that they end the party early.

Then she rejected her besties’ escorts and got into Huo Siqian’s car.

“Now can you tell me… your idea?” Song Yishi really wanted to separate Qin Chu and Huo Mian, so she asked as soon as she got into his car.

Huo Siqian smiled but was not in a rush to answer her yet.

Instead, he took out a bottle of water and passed it to Song Yishi…

“What’s the rush, we have plenty of time. Here, have some water first.”

“I’m not thirsty, thanks.”

Song Yishi pushed the water bottle away. She was a very cautious person who would never accept drinks from other people.

Huo Siqian smiled. Then he opened the water bottle and took a few gulps.

Song Yishi looked at him with mixed emotions…

He screwed the cap back onto the bottle and, at the same time, said, “Actually… the key to separating them is you… It has to be you.”

“What is the plan? Tell me.”

Song Yishi was convinced that Huo Siqian had a perfect plan. Otherwise, she wouldn’t be here wasting time and energy with him.

“My plan… is complicated. I plan on telling you slowly,” Huo Siqian said as he turned on the heater in his car.

Song Yishi smelled something strange and sneezed twice.

“What’s that weird smell in your car?” Song Yishi asked with a frown.

“Actually…”

Before Huo Siqian finished his sentence, Song Yishi blacked out and fainted…

“Tsk… I overestimated your intelligence. Compared to Mian, you are just an arrogant idiot. You should have known your place… Miss Song, sweet dreams. A surprise will be waiting for you tomorrow.”

Afterward, Huo Siqian extended his finger and bounced it off on her face. His lips presented an eerie smile.

– The next morning –

Song Yishi slowly woke up…

She suddenly remembered something and sat up straight, but her brain was still just blank…

At that moment, the door to the bathroom was opened and Huo Siqian walked out from it.

“Good morning… Miss Song.”

Song Yishi was stunned…

She remembered that she was in his car last night, talking about plans to separate Huo Mian and Qin Chu when she felt dizzy.

Then, she completely lost consciousness…

When she woke up, she was completely naked on a hotel bed, and Huo Siqian walked out from the bathroom

As her thoughts came to this point, Song Yishi didn’t dare think further…

“Huo Siqian, how dare you to set me up…” Song Yishi was furious.
