My Youth Began With Him

“He may not believe it at first, but if we say it enough times, maybe he will slowly believe it? It is a long path to obtain Qin Chu’s heart. Mom, I’m patient, and I only care about the results. It’s okay as long as Qin Chu belongs to me in the end. I am willing to do whatever it takes…”

Song Yishi’s eyes flashed coldly, while her mother frowned…

However, she couldn’t dissuade her daughter so she called Qin Chu.

“Hello?” Huo Mian picked up the phone as Qin Chu was showering.

“I am Yishi’s mother…”

“Oh, do you need something?” Huo Mian’s tone was polite.

“Ah, where’s Qin Chu? I’m looking for him.”

“He’s in the shower. I’m his wife, you can tell me if you need anything.”

“Yishi is sick and hospitalized. After all, Qin Chu and my daughter grew up together, I hope that he can come and visit. He doesn’t need to bring a gift since our family doesn’t need anything, we just need a friend’s visit and companionship. I hope you can pass the message along to Qin Chu.”

“Oh, I see, okay, I understand.”

Huo Mian nodded and hung up the phone.

“Mom… what did he say, is he coming?” Song Yishi asked as she hastily placed down the mirror.

“Huo Mian picked up the phone.”

“Why was it her again?” Song Yishi was angered.

“She said Qin Chu was in the shower.”

“This woman is such a sly b*tch, she’s using all kinds of methods to separate me and Qin Chu. How shameless,” Song Yishi spat angrily.

“Don’t be angry, maybe she was speaking the truth.”

Even though Mrs. Song doted on her daughter, she didn’t think that Qin Chu’s wife was such a bad woman.

“Mom… what do you know? Huo Mian is full of tricks, or I wouldn’t be in this horrible state…” Song Yishi yelled at her mother.

“Yishi, don’t get too emotional… you just recovered, you should rest well.”

“Rest? Qin Chu may not even visit me. If he doesn’t come, what’s the point of me staying here? It’s almost time to be discharged. Damn it, I hate the smell of hospitals. Formaldehyde smells so bad, and these people in white coats… I hate these damn doctors.”

Song Yishi was very agitated towards the hospital.

Because of her dislike towards Huo Mian, she disliked doctors as well and was annoyed by the sight of people in hospital uniforms.

Mrs. Song did not speak any further when she saw her daughter’s condition. She was afraid that she would overly upset her.

Qin Chu walked out from the shower; he had a towel wrapped around his waist, his upper body was tanned and his abs were visible…

Huo Mian gulped and asked, “Honey, you had a phone call, I picked up for you.”

“Who was it?” Qin Chu asked as he dried his hair.

“Song Yishi’s mother.”

“What’s the matter?” Mr. Qin asked without any expression on his face since he didn’t like the Song Family.

“Song Yishi was… hurt after the car race, right? She is hospitalized. Mrs. Song wants you to visit her daughter.”

“Why should I?”

“Um, apparently you two grew up together?”

“Me and her?” Qin Chu smiled coldly.

“I’ve spoken less than ten sentences to her when she lived in my house for a year. Why does she keep exaggerating the truth and making it sound like we’re close?”

“So, Honey, do you want to go and see her? She seems to be in a pitiful state. I heard that Song Yixuan only suffered external injuries but Song Yishi’s nose bridge collapsed.”

“What do you think?” Qin Chu shot back the question at Huo Mian.
