My Youth Began With Him

“Hi, I’m Huo Mian.”

“Hi… Young Madam, I’m the Deputy Director of Livi Style Magazine, Wang Min.”

That man was no longer arrogant and was in so much shock that the bottle of Evian almost fell out of his hands…

“Huo Mian…” Ni Yang walked over upon seeing Huo Mian.

The photographer glanced at them and said, “Let’s take a five-minute break, thanks for the hard work everybody.”

“How’s the photoshoot going?”

“We’re not very satisfied with it, it’s lacking something.” Ni Yang shrugged.

Huo Mian looked at Mo Xue’er, who was resting by the side. “Thanks for the hard work, Xue’er.”

“Don’t mention it.” Mo Xue’er was a little unapproachable and rarely initiated conversation with others. However, she had a mild temper and would never get mad at or bully new stars. Therefore, she always had a great reputation.

Ever since they signed with GK, people had been watching their every move…

They were all waiting to see what GK’s next step would be….

After all, Imperial Star released two movies this month, with a total box office of more than 1 billion yuan.

Jian Tong became the new ‘best actress’…

Annie Liang, who signed with GK, had been abroad this whole time because of her previous scandal.

She only came back a few days ago but had yet to show her face. Huo Mian didn’t really know who she was.

After a brief conversation with Ni Yang and Mo Xue’er, she then went to the photographer and scrolled through the photos they had just taken on a computer.

“Young Madam… what do you think?” Director Wang asked.

“The feeling’s off.”

“See? I told you, I’m not picking on them. Even Young Madam said that something’s wrong,” Director Wang commented.

Everyone seemed to be out of juice…

Yingzi walked over to Huo Mian and said quietly, “Young Madam, we’ve been shooting all day. They’ve redone makeup five or six times, and took thousands of photos… everyone’s tired.”

“Let’s call it a day then, wrap it up.”

“What? We can’t do that, we need to start working on the films the day after tomorrow.” Director Wang seemed unwilling.

“Everyone’s tired, even if we work overtime now, we won’t get the results we want. If you need the films by the day after tomorrow, we still have tomorrow left. We’ll finish it by then,” Huo Mian explained.

“Young Madam, it’s not as easy as you think, what if we’re still not happy with the photos by tomorrow?”

“Don’t worry about it, we’ll figure something out tomorrow. Let’s call it a day.”

Upon seeing how tired Ni Yang and Mo Xue’er looked, she didn’t want to make them keep working.

Therefore, she clapped her hands, gesturing for everyone to go home…

As soon as the staff heard this, they all found their strength…

Then, Huo Mian glanced at the person in charge of GK Film and Television. “Sister Ning, take everyone out for dinner, karaoke, and a spa treatment. GK will reimburse you; I’ll let President Qin know.”

“Thank you, Young Madam.” Ning was a forty-or-so woman who was a highly capable and professional manager.

She used to be an administrative manager and was later promoted by her own department…

She was really good at her job, and Qin Chu seemed to value her.

“As for Xue’er and Ni Yang, considering their special statuses, they probably won’t be able to join everyone for dinner. Make a reservation at Royal View for them to have dinner at and book two suites at the Ritz Carlton so they can get some rest. We’ll continue tomorrow.”

“Thank you, Young Madam.” Yingzi was exhilarated by Huo Mian’s generosity.

“Mrs. Moneybags, let’s be friends…” Ni Yang half-jokingly said as he looked at Huo Mian.

Huo Mian spoiling patted him on the shoulder. “Take off your makeup and go get some rest, you have an entire day in front of you tomorrow.”

“Will do.”

Everyone began to leave, one by one. Huo Mian glanced over at Director Wang and said, “Director Wang, could you please stay back for a minute?”

“Young Madam, is there anything else I can help you with?”
