Blood Awakening: The Strongest Hybrid and His Vampire Bride

Chapter 768: The Volkov Family Gathering

The nursery occupied the adjoining room, although calling it a nursery felt ridiculous when it was almost as large as Nikolai’s old apartment. Not the one his father rented, but the luxurious one he bought after first becoming a hybrid.

Several maids had already gathered around the five children, but the moment their mothers entered, they stepped aside without complaint.

Nikolai paused in the doorway.

Nikita had three.

Even now, that occasionally felt impossible.

Viktoria was the loudest, kicking both legs while reaching towards her mother with tiny hands. Dhalia remained far calmer beside her, watching everything around her with enormous sleepy eyes. At the same time, Elizabeth seemed offended by the entire concept of waking up and merely scrunched her face beneath the blanket.

“Hehe… Mama’s here.”

The harsh little gangster who threatened people without hesitation disappeared completely whenever Nikita lifted her daughters.

She gathered Viktoria against one side while one of the maids carefully passed Dhalia into her other arm.

“Where’s Liz?”

“Still sleepy, Mistress.”

“Good girl~ don’t be scared, mommy will feed you delicious vanilla milk!”

Yet watching her use her tail to hold Dhalia, while comforting both Viktoria and Elizabeth, created a strange thump in his chest.

‘Was she always this beautiful?’

He barely noticed the fact that she’d pulled out her swollen tits and began feeding two of the girls, while the calm Dhalia sucked on a bottle with both hands, clinging to her mother’s tail, enjoying the soft, silky fur.

‘She feels like a woman born to become a mother… so skilled.’

A far cry from the violent thug who wrung him dry, milking him for everything she could a few moments earlier.

Nikolai stepped towards her unconsciously, stepping behind her as Viktoria’s eyes shone bright; even while mid suckle she reached towards him almost instantly.

“O-Ouch! Don’t bite… Viktoria!”

Scolded for chewing on her mother’s nipple, the wolf almost seemed proud as she glanced up at her father with a glint in her eyes.

“Wooo!”

His chest tightened.

“Hey, little monster! Don’t bite your mommy there; it hurts… hurry and eat your meal.”

“Woooo!”

Despite her protesting, the moment Nikolai’s rough hand ruffled her growing hair, she stopped acting up. It was strange to see the girls who looked like five- or six-year-old children acting like babies…

Nikolai felt a wave of comfortable exhausting washing over him as he petted both Viktoria and Dhalia, before a tug came at his pants. Of course, Elizabeth clung to his pants while gazing with sparkling eyes.

“I couldn’t forget my little princess~ don’t be jealous, okay?”

Then, from behind him, a sarcastic, elegant voice mused at his actions.

“There, do you see it, Leon~ don’t be a lady killer like your father, or your mother will cry.”

Selene had already lifted Leonid from his crib.

The little vampire boy had stopped crying almost instantly, his face pressed against her chest as she gently rocked him.

Unlike Nikita, Selene became unusually quiet with her son.

She kissed his forehead several times, whispering things Nikolai couldn’t quite hear while adjusting the blanket around him. Because her chest swelled the most when pregnant, she now seemed to suffer pain when sucked directly.

‘Though during sex she always forces me to drink it when she cums…’

Because of this, Leonid drank from bottles.

Bottles that Nikolai himself helped fill…

Then her red eyes met his.

“Don’t flirt with your skanky wolf? Hurry, come here and greet your lovely boy! Hmph!”

“Bitch?! Who’re you calling a skank, slut… look at those fat tits oozing rotten milk!”

Of course Nikita cursed back in R-Dialect so the children couldn’t understand her, but Nikolai reached out and pinched her fat butt with a slight twist.

“Ouch!”

That’s when Viktoria spoke in R-Dialect, and the room froze. “Bwitch!”

“!!!!!!!!”

All three of the adults glanced at the little devil, her little wolf tail curling in the air as she acted oblivious.

“Ahhhhhhh, Viktoria!!! Don’t copy mommy… mommy was….”

Nikolai stepped towards Selene, taking the moment to escape his duties, like a true man!

Selene carefully shifted Leonid against his arms.

“You haven’t held him enough recently.”

Her words weren’t accusatory; rather, to Nikolai, he understood them to be more sweet and gentle than angry. This tsundere vampire queen couldn’t just be honest; when she missed him, she would mention Leon or other women.

Leonid was an honest boy, though!

“Dad…!”

His glowing red eyes shone as he clung to his father’s muscular arm, instantly tucking himself into the groove of his elbow.

‘This cute kid…’

Watching this, Selene laughed.

“It seems that he missed you more than me~ I can’t even get jealous of this sight… my two most beloved boys together.”

This was the only moment that Selene would become honest.

When the two of them were close, and both Leon and Nikolai came close to each other.

As if for her, Leon was a special existence that allowed her to drop the facade and become an honest vampire queen.

“Ah…?”

Nikolai cupped her cheek, enjoying the sight of her blushing smile.

“You look beautiful, Selene.”

“R-Really… do you mean it? Fufu… Hehe…..” Unlike usual, when she might deny it, the vampiress worth billions of dollars flushed and giggled to herself with a dorky laugh, which made even Leonid’s eyes widen.

“Mother?”

The children could speak well, but Nikolai learned from Leona, who used to study as a midwife during her maid days, that they don’t fully comprehend the meaning of the words until turning six or seven.

So, when playing with Madoka and others, they could create cute plays and games, yet when it came to the logical side of their brains… it would take some time to fully comprehend the words they spoke.

Nikolai smiled while adjusting his hold.

At the other side of the room, Kumiko sat inside a large cushioned chair with Hikari against her chest.

Her nightgown had slipped down one shoulder as she calmly fed their daughter, golden hair falling loosely around them while the newborn’s tiny ears twitched.

Nikolai’s attention lingered on her sexy atmosphere, her breasts large… but a pretty shape slipped free, letting the small fox gently suckle the large teat.

The sight itself felt strangely peaceful.

Kumiko noticed him watching and glanced up at him, with a seductive flutter of her lashes.

“What’s wrong, darling? Do you want to have a taste again, just like last night?”

“Nothing.”

‘Damn it!’

His wives were all succubi! Nikolai wanted to leave, but when he watched Leonid staring up at him, observing his reactions, there was a strange tingle in his mind. The first thought that appeared was ‘My son must be a genius!’ kind of image…

‘Ah… I’m just a stupid, doting father, just like a normal human too, right?’

“It’s fine, Kumi. I just realised…” Nikolai glanced down at Leonid. “…I missed a lot, didn’t I?”

Kumiko adjusted Hikari against herself, while her smile became more charming; the appeal of a mother was beyond man’s comprehension.

‘I love Milfs!’

She then beckoned to him while fluttering her golden tails behind her, like some bewitching fox monster.

“Then stop wasting today feeling guilty about yesterday.”

His eyes moved towards her.

She smiled.

“You promised us a day, remember?”

Nikolai released a breath through his nose.

“Yeah.”

“So spend it with us, and maybe then you won’t miss these things in the future, fufu.”

***

Breakfast became lunch by the time everyone finally left the nursery.

Nobody seemed particularly bothered.

The large dining room had been stripped of most of its formal settings. Instead of a banquet table prepared for the Patriarch, several smaller tables had been pushed together near the windows while the maids brought whatever food people requested.

Nikolai preferred it.

Nikita sat beside him, feeding Viktoria from a bottle while Dhalia slept inside a small basket nearby. Elizabeth remained with one of the senior maids because waking her apparently constituted a crime punishable by death according to her mother.

Selene ate with one hand while holding Leonid against her chest with the other.

Kumiko had Hikari nestled against herself, occasionally adjusting the newborn beneath the loose cloth covering her chest whenever she fed.

‘Growing Babies really eat a lot…’

Rather, Nikolai didn’t realise just how slowly they managed to drink milk and the explosive amount that monsters needed was triple the amount a human child might need.

Leona occupied Nikolai’s opposite side.

For perhaps five minutes, everything remained peaceful.

Then the doors opened.

“My, my… So this is where everyone disappeared to.”

The first to enter was the most graceful and extravagant of his wives, Amphitrite.

Her long pink hair flowed behind her while the loose dress around her body did very little to hide the changes caused by the twelve lives developing within her.

Nikolai instinctively looked at her stomach.

After their sex, her stomach seemed to have grown further, and it was likely soon he would have to care for twelve little mermaid daughters…

A haunting yet blissful future.

“Wow! You’re ready to burst… how many kids are you gonna pop out???” Nikita asked in a genuine tone; she also pulled out a chair beside her without a single hint of aggression or complaint.

‘Hmmm?’

“Oh my, thank you, Nikita~”

“Don’t mention it; the trick you told me… really worked!”

“Ohohoho, trick? Fufu… what do you mean, little wolf?”

“Hehe!”

Nikolai chose to ignore their little exchange and wondered what Amphitrite could teach Nikita to make her so sweet and passive. From behind her came Lunaria, long white hair falling over one shoulder, while her silver eyes immediately softened upon seeing the children.

“Soon…” She rubbed her swelling stomach with a smile. “I should eat for you, little rascals, haha.” Lunaria gave Nikolai a small wink before she sat a slight distance away and began eating quickly with a smile.

Lunaria moved straight towards Hikari.

“Can I see her?”

Kumiko laughed.

“You’ve seen her three times today.”

“But she’s awake now.”

“Come here.”

A third figure slipped between them before Lunaria reached the chair.

“Brother!”

Clara threw herself against Nikolai’s back; the spirit showed no fear in a room full of violent, territorial supernatural mothers. “I missed you.” The fairy wrapped both arms around his neck, black hair floating over his shoulder while she peered down at his plate.

“You’re eating without me.”

“You weren’t here.”

Clara puffed her cheeks.

“Hmmmmmph! That’s not fair, you wouldn’t even let me join last night!”

Then another voice came from the doorway.

“Move aside if you’re going to block everyone, flat-chested little fairy.”

Anya entered carrying two cups and a plate piled with pastries, her crimson gaze immediately passing over Nikolai before settling upon Clara.

“Also, those are mine.”

Clara looked at the pastry she’d already stolen.

“No.”

“They are!”

As the two youngest women in his harem, they seemed a little more at ease taking this kind of role. He appreciated how they adjusted the atmosphere to help avoid arguments and moments of awkward silence.

More footsteps sounded outside.

Sarah’s voice came first, apparently complaining about someone moving a meeting without informing her, followed by Zara’s much more refined tone trying to convince her that Nikolai had explicitly banned work for the day.

The two seemed to have been discussing something that she didn’t want to hear.

“So… you prefer his transformed… thing?” Sarah reluctantly asked Zara, the Djinn with a loud personality.

“Yes! It’s so fucking thick… and huge… it feels like my stomach is physically being crushed when he pounds me from behind… ah fuck…. those bitches got to enjoy it all night long… tonight’s our night, though, right?”

From their expressions, Nikita and Selene heard their conversation too.

“Wow…”

“Perverted bitch.”

“Well, it’s kind of true…” Kumiko whispered as she chewed a small dumpling.

Like this, everyone slowly gathered in the large dining room; it was a chaotic but lovable bunch, and Nikolai sat in the centre of this vortex, enjoying everything.

‘Yeah…’

His gaze travelled around the growing chaos of his family.

‘A day like this isn’t so bad.’
