The Evolution Of A Goblin To The Peak

Chapter 1070 Destruction of the Ekatoe City: Eight Head, Third Head, and Isabella vs. Walfen

The entire area shifted as boulders of rock burst out from the ground.

Eight Head and Third Head distanced themselves, as the energy Walfen was emitting was dangerous.

They watched him warily, observing the changes in the surroundings.

”What is he going to do?” Eight Head frowned.

”I donʼt know. Just observe and be ready to respond at any moment,” Third Head said quietly.

Hundreds of gigantic boulders rose from the ground. The earth trembled violently, affecting the nearby battles. Doranjan, the monsters, and the witches who were fighting the golems couldnʼt help but turn their heads.

Ohm!!

Walfen floated in the air, radiating a dangerous energy. The giant golem below him raised its hand as flames slowly burst from the gaps in its body.

”Try it,” urged the Third Head to the Eight Head.

Eight Head nodded, bent his knees, and launched himself forward, soaring at high speed directly toward Walfen.

”Itʼs futile!” Walfen said coldly.

Bang!!

Eight Head collided with an invisible field surrounding Walfen.

”Whatʼs this?!” he exclaimed.

He gathered his energy and threw another punch, but the invisible field absorbed the force without even a scratch.

”I told you, itʼs futile!” Walfen raised his voice.

Suddenly, the giant golem leaped into the air, landing behind Walfen. In that instant, the Third Head made his move. At the same time, Isabella opened a space above and threw a potion.

The potion exploded against the invisible field.

Walfen glanced at her and fired an energy blade.

Swoosh!!

Seeing this, Isabella immediately retreated. At the same time, the Third Head conjured another spell.

This time, it was a water spear.

Hundreds of spears descended upon Walfenʼs position like a lightning storm.

[Element Drive]!!

The power behind the water spears surged suddenly. The Third Headʼs elemental energy flared up, causing Walfen to turn his head.

Bang! Bang!

He felt the invisible field around him shake. Frowning, the giant golem quickly open its mouth.

In the next moment, the golem swallowed Walfen whole.

Eight Head, Third Head, and Isabella were shocked as they witnessed the scene.

Hiiiiiing!!!!

An ear-piercing sound reverberated as the giant golem changed its form. Standing at fifty meters tall, it now had huge flaming wings on its back. A pair of reddish glows burned in its eye sockets, and the elemental power around it surged to its peak.

”Itʼs my masterpiece! The Supreme Cinder Golem!”

A voice echoed from the golem—it was Walfen, now one with his creation.

Walfen dashed forward and quickly threw a punch toward Eight Head. Sensing danger, Eight Head instinctively moved to the side, but he realized it was already too late to dodge.

”Itʼs so fast!” Eight Head exclaimed in surprise.

He gritted his teeth and threw a punch toward the incoming massive fist, his elemental powers bursting out to cover the entire area around him.

[Element Drive]!!

Eight Head didnʼt hold back at all. The ground beneath his feet collapsed as the temperature sharply rose, and violent sparks of energy erupted from the intense collision of their fists.

Boom!

To the side, Third Head raised her hand and cast a buff spell to enhance Eight Headʼs abilities.

Shockwave after shockwave shook the area as Eight Head fought Walfen fiercely. The massive golem, now Walfen, was fast, strong, and tough—this, despite being suppressed by the [Five Element Barrier Formation] of Ekatoe City.

Isabella observed the battle, her energy flaring up as she cut through the space before her.

Ohm!

She extended her hand and pulled out a briefcase. Opening it, she revealed six potions inside.

She picked one up and threw it onto the ground.

Bang!!

A thick, purple-colored smoke filled the area.

”What is this?” Third Head turned her head, alarmed.

”Itʼs just a precaution,” Isabella said, calmly taking another potion and placing it inside a syringe. Then, she vanished from her position.

At the same time, Eight Head continued to clash with Walfen, ignoring the purple smoke around them. The shockwaves from their attacks blew the smoke away, but it quickly returned a few seconds later.

Neither Eight Head nor Walfen seemed affected by the smoke; they simply kept fighting.

Bang! Bang!

Third Head flew around, casting spells intermittently to disrupt Walfen and give Eight Head an opening.

AHHHH!!!

Walfen roared in frustration. Despite being clearly stronger, he couldnʼt kill any of them.

This should have been an easy mission for him and the rest. The only real concern was the Nine-Headed Hydra that Arden was fighting. However, they never anticipated the powerful formation covering the city. Just creating a hole in the barrier had already come at a high price.

”Just die!!”

Walfenʼs eyes burned with rage as he smashed the ground.

Boom!!

A massive explosion erupted, sending hundreds of boulders covered in fierce flames flying into the air.

Isabella reappeared behind Eight Head, grabbing his shoulder and pulling him into a spatial rift she created. Third Head saw this, so she didnʼt cast a protective spell for Eight Head. Instead, she focused on protecting herself from the incoming attack.

Bang!

The shockwaves ravaged the entire area, affecting Doranjan and the others, who were fighting the other golems.

Shooosh!!

The purple smoke slowly began to cover the area once again. Walfen looked left and right, breathing heavily.

Suddenly, he sensed something and looked up. A figure emerged, heading toward him with great momentum.

It was Eight Head.

”You!!” Walfen gritted his teeth in anger and threw a punch.

Boom!!

The collision sent Walfen flying several dozen meters away. He was surprised—Eight Head had grown significantly stronger. From that single exchange, he could tell that Eight Head had changed.

”Come on! Didnʼt you want to fight? Letʼs go!” Eight Head roared, swiftly dashing toward Walfen once again. He was experiencing an overwhelming amount of pain. To make matters worse, he could barely control his mana and elemental powers simultaneously.

”You piece of trash!” Walfen roared, dashing forward as the two collided midair.

One was a small figure, the other a giant golem. Eight Head appeared tiny in comparison to the golem, but his newfound strength allowed him to battle this monstrous opponent.

Boom! Boom!

Isabella watched the battle from a distance, her breath heavy and her forehead slick with sweat.

Third Head appeared beside her, observing the fierce clash between Eight Head and Walfen. She glanced at Isabella and asked, ”What did you do?”

Isabella met her gaze before responding, ”I simply gave him the strength to fight—a potion that temporarily boosts his power.”

Of course, there was a side effect to this, as she hadnʼt perfected the formula yet. It was also a good opportunity to test the limits of her potions.

”It wonʼt last long,” Isabella said.

Third Head nodded but didnʼt respond. She flew into the air and headed toward the battle to support Eight Head.

Boom!

Eight Head dodged Walfenʼs incoming fist, quickly closing the gap to strike at the golemʼs chest. His heavy punch staggered the opponent.

”This guy!” Walfen gritted his teeth. If only he could use his full strength, he could have killed him already.

Bang!!

Eight Head landed another punch. The force behind the attack was immense, slowly chipping away at the golemʼs body and revealing Walfenʼs smaller form inside.

AHHHH!!

Eight Head screamed as he continued to throw his fists at his opponent. He knew his current state wouldnʼt last long.

Walfen was being pushed back, and the golemʼs body was slowly crumbling. He clenched his fist and threw a powerful punch.

His massive fist collided with Eight Headʼs attack, creating intense friction in the air. Violent energy sparks erupted across the area.

Swoosh!!

Eight Head was sent crashing to the ground as the golemʼs hand collapsed. It shattered into countless tiny rock fragments.

Boom!!

Seeing this, Third Head, who had been observing, sprang into action. She launched the spells she had been preparing while watching the battle unfold.

Ohm!

Walfen raised his head, seeing the incoming attacks. Sharp ice spears and a ray of water descended upon the massive body of his golem.

It was overwhelming. His body crashed to the ground as the attacks continued to rain down.

Boom! Boom!

After a while, Third Head stopped her bombardment, feeling exhausted but remaining vigilant. She knew it wasnʼt enough to defeat a strong opponent like Walfen.

The ground trembled slightly as Walfen rose. His golemʼs body was riddled with cracks, and his true form was visible through the exposed chest of the golem.

An ugly expression twisted his face.

”Damn it! I will kill every single one of you!” Walfen snarled, consumed by rage.

Eight Head got to his feet, spitting a mouthful of blood as he locked eyes with Walfen. Despite the injuries covering his body, he smiled and said, ”His aura is weakening. Letʼs attack him again.”

Third Head glanced at him and asked, ”How long can you last in your current state?”

”One minute...” Eight Head said in a low voice, feeling as though he was on the verge of collapse.
