Chapter 105: Chapter 21: Monster Among Geniuses

”It’s Chen Zhong again, it’s Chen Zhong again!”

”After completing a brace, he assisted Van Nistelrooy to score a beautiful goal.”

”Koman definitely didn’t expect to encounter such a monster in his first match as a coach.”

”This is already the 4th assist Chen Zhong has completed in the league. This season, he has played 7 times in the league, with 3 goals and 4 assists. Such achievements for the 16-year-old Chen Zhong are simply unimaginable.”

”If we also count his goals in the Spanish Super Cup and the Champions League.”

”With 6 goals and 5 assists in 11 games, Chen Zhong has shown the world what a genius monster truly is.”

”You have to know, he’s only 16 years old this year. If he continues at this pace, he will be second to none.”

”I believe there must be fans who started paying attention to Chen Zhong 3 years ago, but no one believed that just 3 years later, Chen Zhong would have secured his place at Real Madrid and delivered such a perfect performance.”

”I’m very fortunate to be commentating on such a match today. He may well become the best football player our country has produced in the next ten, twenty, or even a hundred years.”

No matter how Chen Zhong performed before, the waves he stirred up domestically weren’t too big. After all, he mostly played the role of a defensive player, but in this match, in La Liga, against the Bats, his brace completely drove the fans crazy.

If there were people before comparing him to the Manchester United Director, thinking the Manchester United Director was stronger than Chen Zhong, then with this performance, unless the Manchester United Director gets to play at Manchester United and performs even better, there is no way to compare him to Chen Zhong.

Chen Zhong’s discussion heat in China now even surpasses the heat when Yang Chen scored consecutive goals at Frankfurt, and as countless fans spread the word, many Chinese also tuned in due to the buzz, watching this match.

”Have you heard? One of our players made it big abroad.”

”This match he scored two goals directly, many people are watching it, do you want to take a look?”

”CCTV5 is broadcasting this match live, we can just turn it on and watch. This person must be really talented if CCTV5 has started broadcasting La Liga.”

Many people don’t really understand football, but whenever they hear there’s any national-related stir in this circle, they will turn on the TV and watch the match for a while, even if they don’t quite understand. As long as they know there’s a Chinese person involved, they will cheer and shout.

The first half ended, and Valencia’s players breathed a sigh of relief. Mata on the bench glanced at Chen Zhong, and the two passed by each other expressionlessly.

Although they have a good relationship privately, with Valencia having been played into this pitiful state, Mata wouldn’t joke around with Chen Zhong, fearing he might not be able to stay at Valencia.

After the halftime show, the second half began, Koman made adjustments in the locker room, while Schuster praised Chen Zhong’s performance in the locker room, also confirming Chen Zhong’s position in midfield. Diara would focus solely on defense while Chen Zhong contributed on both defense and offense.

”Now broadcasting live for you is the 10th round of La Liga.”

”The match between Valencia and Real Madrid.”

”The players of both teams have returned to the field, and Valencia has kicked off the ball.”

”Joaquín has the ball on the wing, and Marcelo has taken Joaquín down to the ground.”

”The referee showed a yellow card without hesitation.”

Marcelo’s expression of bewilderment with his hands raised was quite amusing, and after Joaquín got up from the ground, his expression was serious, his pale eyes locked onto Morientes. However, seeing Chen Zhong approaching Morientes, his expression changed.

The ball was quickly put back into play, and Valencia seemingly realized they didn’t have the advantage in aerial duels, so they attempted to attack Real Madrid from the wings.

However, everything eventually has to return to the central area.

When they tried to pass the ball to the goal area through smooth ground passing, Diara and Chen Zhong, like two filtering iron meshes, intercepted their passes outside the penalty area.

”Valencia’s attack.”

”Moving inside.”

”Diara intercepts the ball.”

”Passes to Chen Zhong.”

”Real Madrid counterattacks.”

”The cooperation between Chen Zhong and Guti.”

”Pushing forward all the way.”

The Merengue crowd loudly cheered, while Valencia fans tried to drown out Chen Zhong with boos, and Koman watched everything on the field nervously.

After Guti got the ball, he passed it back to Chen Zhong, and after Chen Zhong received the ball, he immediately sent it to Robinho, who sprinted forward like the wind. Robinho was in top form in this match, and in this chain of cooperation, as long as he got past Albiol, he would have a one-on-one chance with the goalkeeper.

Facing Robinho’s raid, Albiol attempted to intercept Robinho, but Robinho tapped the ball and accelerated, wanting to get past Albiol.

In that moment, Albiol acted rashly, using both hands and feet to take Robinho down to the ground, even causing him to roll over twice.

The referee blew the whistle and ran to Albiol, decisively pulling out a red card.
