Forced to Sell Myself to the Female Lead After Killing the Male Lead

”What’s going on? Why was there suddenly an explosion?”

”I have no idea! Could it have been a terrorist attack?”

”There’s no way it was a terrorist attack, right? This is Yexinlian Royal Academy! Who would dare launch a terrorist attack here?!”

”But didn’t someone say they saw two suspicious little figures sneaking around earlier?”

”Little figures? They were probably just children playing nearby, weren’t they? Besides... where’s that eyewitness?”

...

...

Amid the chattering discussions of a group of female students, Miss Mengxi, carrying a stack of books in her arms, hurriedly arrived at the White Lily Dormitory District.

This was the secret garden where some of the academy’s senior female students resided.

Because of Mengxi’s unique identity and status, these young ladies of distinguished backgrounds consciously stepped aside, allowing her to reach the railing without difficulty.

Standing atop the slope, Mengxi looked toward the site of the explosion in the distance.

”What... What on earth... happened here...?”

As the scene before her came into view, the corners of the silver-haired girl’s eyes began to twitch.

At this very moment,

A magnificent building in the distance, lavishly decorated in a classical European architectural style, was engulfed in fierce crimson flames. Thick clouds of smoke billowed straight into the sky.

The fifth floor of the dormitory, along with the two floors above it, had already been swallowed by the raging inferno.

Fanned by the wind, the flames burned more and more fiercely, showing absolutely no signs of dying down.

Countless female students living in the White Lily Dormitory District had fled outside in fright and were now staring at the blazing building.

It had to be admitted that this explosion was quite a serious incident.

Not only had the originally fireproof barrier been blown to pieces, but even the specially manufactured fire-resistant materials were gradually being consumed by the flames...

Although the situation was serious, fortunately, the vast majority of students had either been in the cafeteria or had just finished their classes and were on their way back to their dormitories when the explosion occurred.

Apart from causing a considerable fright, the explosion had resulted in no casualties.

The frightened students were currently sitting quietly on a nearby lawn, being comforted by the school doctors.

Meanwhile, the academy’s guards, security personnel, and several high-ranking teachers had rushed anxiously to the scene. While using water-attribute magic to suppress the flames, they had also quickly begun investigating the incident, hoping to determine the cause of the explosion as soon as possible...

The White Lily Dormitory District, which had always maintained a quiet and elegant atmosphere, had inevitably descended into an uproar.

...

Watching everything unfold, Mengxi bit her lower lip before fixing her gaze firmly on the sixth floor of the burning dormitory.

Because...

The building that had just been blown up...

Happened to be the very building where Mengxi lived.

And Miss Mengxi’s room... was on the sixth floor...

Without a doubt,

Her dormitory room must have suffered considerable damage by now...

At the very least, it would be uninhabitable for the foreseeable future...

”What on earth... is going on...?”

After recovering slightly from her initial shock, Mengxi’s pale-purple eyes filled with confusion.

Yexinlian Royal Academy placed extraordinary importance on fire safety. The dormitories were inspected for potential hazards practically every day.

To be honest, Mengxi didn’t believe this explosion had been an accident...

Someone must have deliberately caused it...

A terrorist attack?

But...

If someone wanted to launch an attack, shouldn’t they have chosen a time when there were lots of people around?

Why choose the period immediately after classes ended, when practically nobody was in the dormitories?

Besides,

Someone capable of blowing up a building shouldn’t be limited to destroying just one, right?

Yet only one building had been bombed, and it just so happened to be the one containing her room...

Could someone at the academy be jealous of her and deliberately targeting her?

Was this some kind of bullying?

Several faces flashed through Mengxi’s mind, all belonging to people who might conceivably be involved.

However, after thinking for a moment, she dismissed her suspicions.

After all... blowing up a dormitory was such an utterly pointless act that those people probably wouldn’t bother doing something like that.

If it wasn’t them, then who could possibly be so bored?

Even after pondering the matter for a while, Mengxi still couldn’t find an answer.

Instead, a much more ”urgent” problem suddenly presented itself to the silver-haired girl.

It seemed...

She had been surrounded...

”Uh, um... Is there something you need?”

Turning her head somewhat nervously, Mengxi glanced at the group of girls who had surrounded her so tightly that not even water could slip through. Their eyes were sparkling with excitement.

A terrible premonition immediately arose in her heart.

And as it turned out,

Miss Mengxi’s premonition was extremely accurate.

The instant she asked that question,

The girls—or rather, the members of Mengxi’s fan club—swarmed forward all at once, crowding directly around her.

With their large, watery eyes brimming with anticipation, they stared at the silver-haired girl in front of them with uncontrollable excitement and desire, like a pack of ravenous wolves that had just discovered a delicious prey.

”Student Mengxi! Do you need any help?!”

One of the girls, who had pink hair cut into a bob, rushed forward and grabbed Mengxi’s right hand, speaking excitedly.

And as soon as the pink-haired girl opened her mouth, the others eagerly joined in.

”Lady Sister! Your apartment was within the blast radius, wasn’t it?! That means you have nowhere to stay now, right?!”

”Big Sister Mengxi! If you don’t have anywhere to stay, come stay with us! My bed is really big! There’s definitely enough room for two people!”

”No, no! What’s the point of going to your place?! Lady Sister should come to our Room 305! My father just sent me some specialty iced pastries from Saint Lomari. We could have a lovely girls-only evening tea party together tonight~”

”I think Lady Sister still has classes tomorrow, so she needs to get plenty of rest tonight. Why don’t you come to my place instead? I have a specially made Water-Soft Bed! It’s incredibly comfortable~”

”All right, sisters, there’s no need to fight over this. In my opinion, Lady Sister should come to my luxurious apartment. It’s quite spacious, so everyone from the fan club can come along too. Don’t forget our club motto! Lady Sister belongs to everyone! Nobody is allowed to monopolize her! We must learn to share, understand?”

”Ohhh! As expected of our Vice President! I’ve been enlightened!”

”Me too!”

”So... Lady Mengxi! Please come with us to the Lanteng Dormitory~ We’ll make sure to take very good care of you tonight~ And if Lady Sister is willing, I wouldn’t mind offering my own body to you~”

”Lady Sister, there’s no need to be shy! Let’s go~”

...

...

”Uh... Um...”

They were clearly pairs of bright, beautiful eyes, yet in Mengxi’s vision, they seemed to have transformed into the eyes of wild beasts that had just spotted a delectable meal.

Their gazes sent goosebumps crawling across Miss Mengxi’s skin.

It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that she felt a chill run down her spine.

”Um... Everyone, please calm down...”

The silver-haired girl hurriedly waved her hands, trying to stop the girls from rushing toward her.

Mengxi had a terrible feeling...

If she really followed these girls to that Lanteng Dormitory, she would probably lose her chastity on the spot and be completely devoured, leaving nothing behind...

At this very moment,

Mengxi even began to suspect that these fanatical admirers were the ones who had blown up her dormitory.

Facing the girls surrounding her from every direction, all looking somewhat ”desperately hungry,” Mengxi couldn’t help sucking in a sharp breath.

Feeling thoroughly intimidated, she nervously wrapped her arms around her two ample breasts and repeatedly retreated.

Unfortunately, Miss Mengxi had been surrounded so completely that there was simply nowhere left for her to go...

W-What...

What should I do?

Should I release some Holy Aura to knock them away?

...

Just as Mengxi was struggling with this dilemma, a slightly irritated yet extraordinarily commanding female voice suddenly rang out across the open space.

”Hey! What do you think you’re doing?!”

The voice, infused with powerful battle aura, shook the very air, causing everyone present to tremble.

The hearts that had practically appeared in the girls’ eyes instantly vanished upon hearing that voice.

Then, somewhat timidly, the girls turned toward its source.

”D-Dormitory Supervisor?!”

”That’s right! It’s me!”

An elegant, middle-aged noblewoman, approximately forty years old and dressed in a refined purple gown, appeared before everyone.

She was none other than the supervisor of the White Lily Dormitory, the formidable woman known as Madam Molowa—a figure whose strictness rivaled that of the legendary Abbess Miejue herself.

The next moment,

The girls lowered their heads one after another and nervously made way for her.

Madam Molowa crossed her arms over her chest and slowly walked into the center of the crowd, stopping directly in front of Mengxi.

Then the dormitory supervisor swept her sharp gaze across the girls, whose intentions were clearly anything but innocent, and declared sternly,

”As young ladies, you should stop spending all day fantasizing about such unrealistic nonsense! Student Mengxi will not be going to the Lanteng Dormitory with you!”

”B-But... Lady Sister... Ah, no... Student Mengxi’s dormitory was...”

”If her dormitory was blown up, then she can simply move to another one! It’s not as though Yexinlian Royal Academy has no vacant dormitory rooms!”

Molowa spoke coldly.

Under the dormitory supervisor’s piercing gaze, the fan club members, who were ultimately nothing more than ordinary students, quickly lowered their heads with guilty expressions.

Although they were terribly disappointed, none of them dared argue with someone as frightening as this merciless old abbess...

”Hmph.”

After seeing that these noble young ladies, who were always fantasizing about tasting forbidden fruit, had finally quieted down, Molowa slowly turned toward Mengxi.

”Student Mengxi, although your dormitory has been blown up, there’s no need to worry. I’ve already contacted the supervisor of the Plum Blossom Garden Dormitory District. She still has some vacant rooms available. You can go there with the other students whose dormitory rooms were destroyed. Once the reconstruction here is finished, you can move back.”

”To Plum Blossom Garden...?”

”Yes. First, go to your class adviser and obtain a dormitory transfer permit. After that, simply head over to Plum Blossom Garden.”

As she spoke,

Molowa gave Mengxi a sharp, meaningful look, signaling for her to leave quickly before she continued exciting the adolescent girls gathered nearby.

”U-Understood. Thank you very much, Madam Molowa...”

Understanding what the supervisor meant, Mengxi bowed gratefully before grabbing Sakura, who had transformed into her adorable little creature form and was sitting on the nearby railing.

She quickly escaped the encirclement of girls.

Under the resentful and disappointed gazes of the fan club members, Mengxi hurried toward the teachers’ residential district...

Only after seeing Mengxi leave did Madam Molowa finally let out a sigh of relief.

...

...

Meanwhile,

On the rooftop of another dormitory building not far away...

At this completely unnoticed location, a certain adorable little girl with pink twin-tails slowly poked her head out from behind the rooftop wall.

With a thoughtful expression, she watched Miss Mengxi disappear into the distance.

”Oho~ So she’s transferring dormitories, huh... And there are empty rooms in Plum Blossom Garden~”

Hmm...

I know exactly what to do now.

Hehehe~
