One Piece: Collective Viewing of the Future, Starting from God Valley

Chapter 5: Chapter 5: The Pirate Emperors Who Rule the World!

...

”What exactly did my future self go through... to end up walking that path?”

Dragon tightly clutched the two infants still in swaddling clothes in his arms, as if desperately holding onto some belief that was about to collapse.

He looked around—devastation everywhere!

Marine and pirate corpses lay scattered across the ground, gunpowder smoke still lingering, but what stung even more were the fallen civilians.

Dragon dazedly lifted his head. Though the light screen provided illumination, the sky remained terrifyingly overcast.

It felt like it was about to crush the entire island!

Everything happening here was cruelly shattering the ”justice” he had once firmly believed in.

Those Marines cloaked in justice, facing unarmed civilians, not only failed to offer help but turned their guns on them!

Driving them away with cold anesthetic rounds.

They weren’t vicious pirates, nor rampaging bandits—they were just the most ordinary people...

Even while holding little Shanks and Shamrock, Dragon’s fists unconsciously clenched tighter.

Just moments ago, to save a few innocents being sold as playthings by the Celestial Dragons, he had even been forced to raise his gun against a Celestial Dragon!

That was the last line in his heart, a decision made by following his conscience.

How ironic—when the survivors ran toward the Marine fleet, begging for a sliver of hope, what greeted them was merciless cannon fire.

The Marines’ reason? Simply because they came from non-affiliated nations, because they had once been slaves... so they deserved to be abandoned by the world?

This island was like a mirror reflecting the true face of the world.

Dragon seemed to finally understand why his future self would shed the Marine uniform, leave behind the order his father guarded, and walk the path of the Revolutionary Army.

This world was already beyond saving!

Healing it required not preservation, but complete rebirth.

”This is my grandson? But why would he become a pirate?! And... Roger, why does my grandson have your hat!”

”That guy Dragon—why would he leave the Marines to become some revolutionary? What the hell happened...”

Young Garp clutched his head, utterly baffled. His grandson a pirate, his son a revolutionary—both standing in opposition to him.

They’d both become irredeemable bastards?!

...

”Hey hey hey, Kuma, Ginny—did you see that? The one just now calling that straw hat boy ’Luffy’—that’s me, right!”

”And... Kuma, why would you become a government weapon? What exactly happens to us in the future!?”

On the other side of God Valley island, Ivankov, Kuma, and Ginny stared dumbfounded at the sky screen.

The future Queen of the Okama, Emporio Ivankov, stared fixedly at the light screen, muttering nonstop under his breath.

Kuma himself looked completely lost, while Ginny beside him, seeing her future Kuma turned into that state, stepped forward heartbroken and grabbed his arm.

Around the three were many other slaves, none of whom understood why Kuma would willingly sacrifice his body to let the World Government turn him into a weapon.

”Ivankov, Ginny—don’t worry. I will never become like that. I will always protect you both!”

Seeing everyone’s shaken emotions, though Kuma felt awful himself, he forced himself to stay calm and began gently soothing the crowd.

Hearing Kuma’s words, Ginny instantly broke down. She burst into loud sobs, then threw herself into Kuma’s arms.

Even Ivankov was struggling to hold it together— Kuma had always been so gentle, so considerate and tolerant of others.

At the center of God Valley, the commander of the God’s Knights, Saint Garling, now wore a dark expression as he looked skyward.

The so-called Revolutionary Army was an organization resisting the World Government and the Celestial Dragons—he never imagined a Marine would become a revolutionary.

”Maffey... go find this Dragon. Kill him now. A person like that is definitely a disaster waiting to happen!”

After a moment’s thought, Saint Garling directly ordered the cigar-smoking Saint Maffey beside him to eliminate the threat of Dragon. Though reluctant, Saint Maffey grumbled and turned to leave the scene.

”This is really interesting! Let me keep watching to see what exactly happens in the future?!”

Saint Garling was growing more and more fascinated by the events of the future—it felt almost like a dream!

In the central area of God Valley.

[The overwhelming power of the Four Emperors—Whitebeard—struck fear into every Marine, and rightly so. If he were weak, Marine Headquarters wouldn’t have summoned the world’s mightiest forces to desperately resist!]

[Not just Whitebeard with such oppressive might—the other three veteran Emperors’ presence was equally formidable. Each one held absolute authority!]

The Summit War scenes faded, and Linley’s voice returned once more. This time, every powerhouse in God Valley developed intense curiosity about these so-called ”Four Emperors.”

”Mam-ma-ma-ma~ I’m really curious now. If Newgate became one of these so-called Four Emperors, then what about me?!”

”Did my future self fulfill my dream and establish the strongest pirate crew?!”

Hearing Linley’s voice, Linlin looked excitedly at the light screen.

This was already confirmed future footage! She was already this strong now—wouldn’t that mean she’d be unstoppable later?!

”Hey! Linlin, cut the nonsense! The Four Emperors spot is destined to be mine. By then you’ll probably be so old you can barely walk!”

Seeing Linlin’s smug look, Kaido mercilessly doused her with cold water.

Those words instantly sent the current Big Mom into a rage—her face flushed crimson as she exploded.

[Although everyone already knows this deep down, I must solemnly introduce to you all these four figures who stand at the pinnacle of the New World, revered worldwide as the ”Pirate Emperors who rule the seas”!]

[First: Captain of the Whitebeard Pirates, wielder of the Paramecia-type Tremor-Tremor Fruit that commands the power to destroy heaven and earth—”The World’s Strongest Man” Edward Newgate! His ability to quake the seas is enough to make the entire world tremble!]

[Second: The one who, upon her first appearance, declared ”No sweets, then destroy a country,” unleashing queenly madness between rage and gluttony—”Big Mom” Charlotte Linlin! Her appetite is a natural disaster, her fury the end of days!]

[Third: The one who debuted by leaping from ten thousand meters high, revered as the ”Indestructible Body” and ”Strongest Creature on Land, Sea, and Air”—Beast Kaido! His toughness forces even heaven and earth to yield!]

[Fourth: Compared to the previous three, he seems almost ordinary, but should anyone dare infringe on his Conqueror’s dignity, they will witness the true meaning of ”no mercy”—Red-Haired Shanks! He is both the freest man on the seas and an emperor who brooks no challenge!]

When Linley solemnly announced the titles and might of these four ”Pirate Emperors,” an eerie silence fell over all of God Valley.

Pirates and Marines alike first stared wide-eyed in bewilderment, as if unable to process the words that had just poured into their ears.

Then, countless gazes involuntarily turned toward the four towering, mountain-like figures in the scenes.

Whitebeard’s sea-shaking power, Big Mom’s mad gluttony, Kaido’s indestructible body, Red-Hair’s restrained dominance!

These descriptions crashed wildly through their minds.

”Pirate... Emperors... ruling the world?”

Someone trembled as they repeated the term, voice filled with disbelief.

”How is that possible... there are pirates on this sea who can be called ’Emperors’?”

”The Rocks Pirates... had three of the future powerhouses!!”

Someone—nobody knew who—first sucked in a sharp breath.

That sound rippled like a stone dropped into still water, instantly stirring up waves in the crowd.

Then, gasps rose one after another—from Marines and pirates alike!

Many instinctively covered their mouths, eyes full of shock.

Some even staggered back in fear, as if struck in the chest by that intangible pressure right then and there.

”No—wait, this can’t be right!”

Just as everyone was reeling, Big Mom suddenly interrupted them all. Veins bulging, eyes wide with fury, she glared at her future self on the light screen!

”Someone tell me—who the hell is this old hag?! Why would I turn into that in the future? Sure I like sweets, but I still take good care of myself!”

It turned out ”Big Mom” had seen herself truly become a big mom and immediately started doubting herself.

Everyone around looked at her with complicated expressions—only Kaido dared keep mocking her from the side.

”Hahahaha, Linlin—you really did turn into an old hag! Look! Future me is so badass—the Strongest Creature on Land, Sea, and Air!”

Kaido’s eyes gleamed at his own majestic future figure. Not the strongest man, but the strongest creature on land, sea, and air was still extremely satisfying.

”Kaido—I’m gonna kill you!”

Hearing Kaido’s constant taunts, Big Mom snatched up Napoleon and swung it at him.

But Kaido, as if anticipating it, dodged with a slight shift and kept laughing while evading—this only enraged Big Mom further!

The two started fighting just like that. The Rocks Pirates didn’t pay much attention—after all, those two had never gotten along on the ship.

”No—wait, they’re all Four Emperors... what about me!”

Golden Lion, seeing no mention of himself, stared at the light screen with a dark expression. Why wasn’t his name there—was he weak?!

Not just Golden Lion—Captain John, Ganju, Babel, Silver Axe, Gil Buster, Wang Zhi...

The Rocks Pirates had plenty of complaints too.

”Rayleigh, Scopper—I’m not happy. Why isn’t my name even on there!”

At this point, the future Pirate King, Gol D. Roger, was throwing a tantrum. Seeing no introduction for himself in Linley’s light screen left him deeply depressed...

”Roger, are you stupid? You’re the Pirate King! Even if we don’t know exactly what we went through in the future, our achievements are definitely higher than all of theirs!”

Scopper Gaban saw Roger’s state and snapped him out of it with one sentence!

Four Emperors? Whatever—you, Roger, are the future Pirate King!

”Scopper’s right, Roger—stop sulking...”

Rayleigh agreed with Scopper, and from the earlier introductions, future Roger clearly had massive accomplishments!

The Roger Pirates chimed in one after another, coaxing Roger until he was beaming.

”Really?! Hahahaha—I knew it!”

Hearing his crew and right-hand men say that, Roger laughed like a little kid—his laugh now looked even more like Ace on the light screen.

”Hey! If I’m not blind... Saint Garling... don’t you have a little brother?!”

Saint Sommers stared at Shanks’ appearance, completely dumbfounded—this guy looked like he was carved from the same mold as Saint Garling!
