I am using hacks in cultivation world

Paste?

’Yes.’

The moment Mo Yuan gave the command, a strange feeling suddenly spread through his body.

”Agh!”

He grabbed his head and fell to his knees.

This pain was completely different from what he had experienced when pasting other talents. Previously, the pain had mostly come from his body. It felt like his bones were melting and his muscles were being torn apart but this time, the pain came from somewhere much deeper.

His soul.

Mo Yuan felt as if something was tearing his soul apart and then putting it back together again. His head felt like it was about to explode and countless strange sensations appeared inside his mind.

”Fuck! I never knew pasting this talent would be this painful!”

He clenched his teeth and endured the pain.

The process continued for several minutes. Mo Yuan could only sit on the floor and wait for it to finish. He didn’t dare to do anything else while his soul was undergoing such a strange change.

After around fifteen minutes, the pain finally disappeared.

”Huff...”

Mo Yuan breathed heavily.

His entire face was covered in sweat and even though he was physically fine, he felt extremely tired.

He wiped the sweat from his forehead and slowly stood up.

”Holy shit...”

He took a few deep breaths before calming himself down.

”Now let’s see what this talent can actually do.”

Mo Yuan immediately opened his talent panel.

Illusion Talent: Superior Grade

He activated it and immediately felt something different inside his mind.

A large amount of information appeared in his mind, explaining how the talent worked.

The Illusion Talent could increase his soul power by five times.

It also allowed him to use his soul power to create illusions and interfere with the minds of others. However, there was an important limitation. The illusion would only work on people whose soul power was weaker than his own.

If the opponent had a stronger soul, the illusion would either have little effect or fail completely.

”Five times...”

Mo Yuan’s eyes lit up.

”So this talent basically increases my soul power by five times and allows me to use that soul power to create illusions.”

He rubbed his chin and started thinking.

”But what exactly is soul power?”

”Is soul power the same thing as mental energy or are they completely different?”

Mo Yuan couldn’t help but become curious.

In his previous life, he had read plenty of cultivation novels. There were all kinds of cultivation systems, including body cultivation, Qi cultivation and soul cultivation but in this world, most of the cultivation he had seen was focused on increasing physical strength and cultivating Primordial Qi.

The Body Tempering Methods strengthened the body, while the cultivation realms continuously increased the strength of the cultivator.

As far as Mo Yuan knew, there wasn’t any proper soul cultivation technique.

’The higher the cultivation realm, the stronger the soul becomes.’

That was the only thing he knew.

”There isn’t even a dedicated soul cultivation technique like the Primordial Qi Body Tempering Method.”

Mo Yuan frowned.

”Could it be that after reaching the Sovereign Realm, cultivators start cultivating their souls?”

”Or maybe there is some special method for soul cultivation that I haven’t encountered yet.”

He thought about it for a while before shaking his head.

’Forget it. I’m still too weak to think about Sovereign Realm matters.’

There was no point worrying about something so far away. For now, the most important thing was testing his new talent.

Mo Yuan sat down and slowly activated his Illusion Talent again.

A strange feeling spread through his mind as his soul power began to move.

’If this really makes my soul five times stronger, then maybe I can finally deal with my Blood Saber Intent.’

His expression became serious.

After what had happened in the Cultivation Tower, he had become extremely cautious about his Blood Saber Intent.

He didn’t want to experience that terrifying situation again.

”Let’s see how effective this talent really is.”

Mo Yuan closed his eyes and carefully tried to use his soul power. He slowly spread it around the room, following the information he had received from the Illusion Talent. At first, nothing seemed to happen but soon his soul power began to affect everything around him.

When Mo Yuan opened his eyes, he froze.

The room had completely changed.

The cultivation chamber was gone. Instead, he was standing inside the small bedroom he had used in his previous life.

There was a simple bed in the corner, a small table beside it and a window on the wall. An air conditioner was hanging above the window. On the table was a computer that looked exactly like the one he had used before his transmigration.

Mo Yuan stared at the familiar room for several seconds.

”This...”

He slowly walked toward the table and looked at the computer.

Everything looked so real that for a moment he almost forgot that this was an illusion.

’Is the RAM problem solved on Earth by now?’

He couldn’t help but think about it.

’Thank God I bought 64GB DDR5 RAM before the ai shortage became crazy but unfortunately I wasn’t even able to use it.’

Mo Yuan shook his head.

’Why am I thinking about that now?’

He pushed those thoughts aside and focused on the illusion.

’The Illusion Talent is pretty useful.’

He had only casually used his soul power, yet he had already created an illusion that looked almost completely real.

’This gives me another way to deal with cultivators.’

Mo Yuan smiled.

He could imagine how useful this ability would be in a battle. If his opponent’s soul was weaker than his own, he could use an illusion to confuse them, create an opening and then finish the battle quickly.

’As for Origin Lord Realm cultivators...’

Mo Yuan frowned.

He wasn’t sure whether his current soul power would be enough to affect them. Their souls should be much stronger than those of Origin Sea Realm cultivators.

’But this should work really well against beasts.’

Most beasts didn’t have souls stronger than cultivators of the same realm. Of course, there could be rare beasts with powerful bloodlines or special soul-related talents but those should be uncommon.

”Not bad.”

Mo Yuan nodded in satisfaction but there was another thing he wanted to test.

’Now let’s see if this talent can really help me control my Blood Saber Intent.’

Mo Yuan took a deep breath and carefully released a small amount of his Blood Saber Intent.

Instantly, the atmosphere in the room changed and the entire cultivation chamber was dyed red. A terrifying blood aura filled the surroundings and Mo Yuan’s expression immediately became serious.

He could feel his consciousness starting to become unstable.

’Again...’

His mind began to shake.

The familiar killing intent appeared inside his head.

Kill.

Kill.

Kill.

Mo Yuan immediately activated his Illusion Talent.

The moment the talent activated, he felt his soul become much stronger.

The unstable feeling in his mind began to disappear and the killing intent that had been invading his consciousness became much weaker.

’It works!’

Mo Yuan’s eyes lit up, he could actually resist the Blood Saber Intent now.

However, after several minutes, he noticed something wrong.

His soul was slowly being eroded by the Blood Saber Intent.

Even with the Illusion Talent increasing his soul power five times, he could only resist it, not completely suppress it.

’No good.’

Mo Yuan immediately canceled his Blood Saber Intent.

The terrifying red aura disappeared and the room quickly returned to normal.

”Holy shit...”

Mo Yuan wiped the sweat from his forehead.

”At least I finally have a way to resist it.”

He looked at his hands and frowned.

’But this is still not enough.’

If he wanted to control his Blood Saber Intent, he needed an even stronger soul or some talent that could completely resist the Blood Saber Intent.
