Legend of Swordsman

Chapter 5859: Hate Iron For Not Being Steel

Just like the strongest of the Polunga Clan, Elder Blu, whose strength surpassed even that of the Universe Master at the level of Sixth Tribulations.

After much deliberation, Jian Wushuang laid out the detailed plan.

Cooperation!

A win-win situation.

Of course, he couldn’t guarantee the return of the sacred object of the Polunga Clan.

But he was confident in protecting the people of the Polunga Clan.

Once the Empress arrived and he informed her of this matter, along with all the strong individuals of the human race, half of the success would be achieved.

Otherwise, Gula alone could defeat them all.

Of course, when he revealed this plan, he didn’t have much confidence.

Elder Blu standing by felt somewhat amused.

A youngster with a constant divine power of 400,000, yet he spoke of protecting their plan.

The Grand Elder on the throne, however, trusted Jian Wushuang greatly.

“Blu, instruct all the elders of the tribes to bring back the Dragon Balls to the Holy Land!” The Grand Elder ordered and took down a Dragon Ball from above the throne.

Currently, there were two Dragon Balls in the Holy Land.

One brought by Jian Wushuang and the other guarded by the Grand Elder.

In addition to the three Gula acquired.

Currently, there were four still outside.

They must be gathered in the Holy Land.

It was too dangerous outside.

This was a part of Jian Wushuang’s plan.

First, gather all the existing Dragon Balls together, then make the strong individuals of the human race wary.

Combined with the strength of the Polunga Clan itself.

The strong individuals of the human race could not refuse cooperation.

Actually, he didn’t have much confidence at first because he was just an Emperor.

Even with the help of the Empress’s influence, he couldn’t gather all the strong individuals of the human race together.

Some means must be employed.

He wouldn’t be polite to those so-called allies.

In just a short time of interaction, he would rather trust the strong individuals of the Polunga Clan than those of the human race.

“Grand Elder, rest assured, when Her Majesty arrives, she will surely rally all the human race to come together and cooperate with the noble strong individuals to defeat Gula!” Jian Wushuang was genuinely happy.

After all, planners didn’t need to participate in battle. They operated from behind the scenes.

Elder Blu, upon hearing the Grand Elder’s suggestion, didn’t hesitate for a moment and directly took out the communication crystal.

Jian Wushuang admired this.

Knowing that the other party was the strongest of the Polunga Clan, just by observing their demeanor, he was certain that they weren’t easy to deal with.

Originally, he thought the other party wouldn’t agree, and it would be a waste of breath.

But unexpectedly, they followed the Grand Elder’s words obediently.

Jian Wushuang admired this.

Strength doesn’t always equate to wisdom. A tribe needs strong individuals to thrive, but lasting prosperity requires wise leaders.

With the situation halfway successful, he relaxed a bit and gave a meaningful look to Wu Li beside him, his excitement unconcealed in his eyes.

Wu Li was naturally happy too.

Avoiding a fight was always preferable.

Right now, he just wanted the Empress to lead them to victory without a fight.

The two hadn’t been happy for long when trouble arose on Elder Blu’s side.

“Grand Elder, please have a look at this!” Blu’s expression was somewhat embarrassed as he handed the crystal ball to the Grand Elder.

Jian Wushuang and Wu Li also looked over, but as non-members of the Polunga Clan, they couldn’t see the image on the crystal ball.

The Grand Elder didn’t look at the crystal ball but instead placed his hand on it and then opened his eyes.

“The benefactors of the human race, is this the woman you refer to as your Empress?”

The Grand Elder of the Polunga Clan shook the crystal ball, and a figure appeared above it.

Wu Li nodded repeatedly upon seeing that elegant face.

“Yes, this is indeed our Empress. Her strength is no weaker than Elder Blu’s. Just wait until she-” Before Wu Li could finish his sentence, Jian Wushuang stopped him with a hand.

As Wu Li was about to ask why he was stopped, he noticed the red sphere hanging from the Empress’s waist with one hand and his face froze.

“Grand Elder, to be honest, I’m not very familiar with her either!” Jian Wushuang forced a smile and continued, “You know how it is!”

Suddenly, Blu’s divine power erupted, and he flashed behind the two, grabbing them each like little chicks and presenting them in front of the Grand Elder.

“You must not be disrespectful!”

The Grand Elder shook his head, but there was a hint of sadness in his eyes because their tribe

had just been completely destroyed.

It was the Empress as Jian Wushuang had referred to her.

This also meant the plan was shattered.

If the Polunga tribe was wiped out, cooperation would be impossible.

However, Jian Wushuang and Wu Li were innocent, and they had even saved Danbao.

“Elder Blu, I suspect they can communicate with the outside world. They cannot stay in the Holy Land!” Blu reminded, having long sensed that Jian Wushuang and Wu Li were not good

people.

He had been holding back from saying so.

Now the humans had begun slaughtering the Polunga tribe.

If it weren’t for him warning the tribe and being kept in the dark, the Dragon Balls would have been brought to the Holy Land, and whichever Empress came in would pose a threat to their

tribe.

After a long silence, the Elder’s voice rasped, “Two benefactors, here are some treasures. You can take them and leave. Consider it a token of gratitude from our Polunga tribe!”

This was a tactful way of saying: Take these treasures and scram. We’re even now, but next

time we meet, we’re enemies.

Wu Li was tempted by the treasures he saw.

But Jian Wushuang was unwilling to accept it!

Such a perfect plan, all ruined.

“Fengchen, you’ve misled me!” He was so angry he didn’t even bother with honorifics.

If only he had told the other party about the plan beforehand.

Now it had turned out like this.

Everything was over.

The treasures the Elder brought out meant nothing to him.

He didn’t even look at them.

He didn’t want them either.

He had reached the limit of Emperor.

It wasn’t the lack of treasures, but the lack of opportunity.

The opportunity to break through the Tribulation.

Right now, there was no time for cultivation, only waiting for the opportunity.

Gathering the nine Dragon Balls was one such opportunity.

He was doing it not only for Empress Fengchen but also for himself.

And now, it was all falling into place.

Everyone would perish together.

He could already foresee the future, not because of his mastery of time, but because it was an

ending anyone could see.

Gula and the Human Clan besieged the Polunga Clan.

They were fighting for the Dragon Balls.

After killing the Polunga Clan members, it would be a showdown between the two sides.

Among the Human Clan, the strongest was Empress Fengchen.

The only Universe Master at the Sixth Tribulation realm. Empress Fengchen’s divine power alone amounted to one million.

She had just broken through to the peak of the Sixth Tribulation realm.

But even that wasn’t enough!

Gula’s strength soared after his transformation.

Empress Feng Chen couldn’t hold him back, let alone the rest of the weaklings.

In the end, Gula would emerge victorious.

The entire Human Clan would be defeated.

They wouldn’t be able to complete their mission, let alone think about the position of the

Holy Maiden. “The position of the Holy Maiden!” Jian Wushuang narrowed his eyes.

The previous Holy Maiden seemed to have been just a Universe Master at the Sixth Tribulation

realm.

Was this position of the Holy Maiden really that important?

Not necessarily!

The current group mission seemed more important than the position of the Holy Maiden in

every way.

This might be the most challenging mission in all the Sacred Gathering.

Seven stars.

Appearing for the first time.
